Not even the current aggravations but ones from years and decades ago. The professionalism, the atmosphere of the room, her products and choices in what to use and where and how... amazingly uncanny and just seem led to be organically targeted and exactly where and what was needed. Her touch is light to firm and she isn't afraid to get in there and work it or guide you through what is about happen and during if she needs to use one technique or pressure. Scheduled Groupon appt over 3 months in advance. Natalie even called twice to discuss and confirm our appt... we showed up, on time and waited for 20 minutes. No one was there. We knockcalled, left messages - nothing. Wish we could leave zero stars. Guess moral of the story is, I'm sure she gives great massages, just better hope she shows up. Also hope nothing bad happened to her, but still have not gotten a call back or an apology. Was looking forward to ending vaca on a relaxing note for Vday and my bday. Obv didn't happen. I've gone to fancy spas in Wailea and had a nice pampered experience but this was way better. I was amazed at how she was able to find and work out knots I didn't even know I had. It felt like a combination of relaxing massage mixed with reflexology and more. I left feeling loose, rejuvenated, and happy. My husband also got a massage and had an equally awesome experience. Just got finished with one of the best massages I've ever had! Nathalie is warm, knowledgeable, and clearly very gifted in body work. I have a variety of chronic pain/inflammatory issues and she maneuvered with them (not around them) expertly, releasing tight and painful areas with care and ease. The therapist wasn't good at taking direction, I don't think she knew how to do a deep tissue massage. The massage was very superficial and light... not exactly Swedish though either. Felt like a lot of poking. She also used tools on me without letting me know first, which was jarring. It is always best to let clients who are face down know what you are going to do before you do it. I think she might be a new masseuse, hence the lack of etiquette. Was visiting Maui with my partner for ten days and saw Natalie toward the end of her visit. It was probably a good thing we didn't meet Natalie earlier on in the trip, because we would literally have been there every single day. She is amazing with her hands, so nurturing and healing but also can go deep and firm to work on knots. At the beginning of the appointment, Natalie told me she's be going from the the top of my spine to the base, feeling for areas that needed love. She found ALL of them. Required downloading app, paying attention to days that outside purchases qualify for and then being rescheduled but never called back to do so.
