During a medical appointment with my husband he was extremely rude and dismissed his medical conditions, even though they were already confirmed and treated by multiple specialists (actual MDs!). He also told my husband to "suck it up" because my husband only did two 18 month deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan so there is no way he could have back pain and nerve damage (are you kidding me?!). I'm not sure why anyone would hire this person. Based on reviews from other patients, this individual does not have a good track record and is not competent and able to effectively treat patients, especially combat veterans. I am shocked by his bedside manner or lock thereof.

I had a larger review written, but I decided to keep it down to bulletpoints of my experiences with Doctor Guidi: -Went in for whooping cough, referred to a nutritionist -Went in for flu, referred to a nutritionist -Was told I can't play rugby because of my weight (I've been playing for 5 years now) -Went in on crutches with my leg in a brace, the doctor looked at me and asked which leg I hurt... seriously? also referred me to a nutritionist (instead of an ortho doctor) -Went in for a checkup and he tried to convince me to get lipo-suction. Seriously? I'm a big guy, but I'm psychically active and pretty in-shape, I don't live stuck in a bed. Needless to say, other members of my family have already left Dr. Guidi because of the issues noted above, and I will be doing the same soon. Dr. Guidi used to be a warm and caring doctor but ever since he became part of Lahey clinic he seems only concerned with referring his patients to a nutritionist and nothing more. There's probably a reason why there is never anybody in his waiting room anymore.

No one called me when this occurred weeks before. I find Dr. Ray to be critical and judgmental. She's not willing to work with her patience. I feel she follows her own opinions and beliefs rather than the treatment plan that was established before she was there.

They are all I've known as an adult. 1st doc I had for 11yrs, second for about 8 and my current for the past 11 or so. (1st retired, 2nd left to go into research) Husband had 3. We just got dropped like a hot potatoes because we have Tufts insurance that we've had since 1998. They want us to switch to the MassGen Plan. No way! It's SO F expensive. Mass General is screwing people so bad. Mass Eye & Ear is included in the conglomerate. Another place we've been going to several times a year since the mid-90s. No where to go who is accepting new patients and they don't give a shit. They only care about money!! I'll never go back.

I had blood clots in the past and was having some similar symptoms. An emergency room would be the quickest way to diagnose. I went in, told them what was going on, got put in a room with the "tablet" to get my billing info. The Doctor (who was filling in because of staffing issues) came in, and I told him what was going on. He said " if what is going on with you is what I think, you know what I'm talking about, you need to go to a real hospital. we don't have the staff to help you." They offered me an ambulance ride to Portsmouth Hospital. I declined and my wife drove me to Portsmouth Hospital and they did the job of a real ER. Parkland in Plaistow billed my insurance many thousands of dollars and is trying to get me to pay them another $500. THEY PROVIDED ZERO EMERGENCY SERVICES. It's gone to collection and have disputed the charge twice. DO NOT GO TO PLAISTOW ER.

While some of the providers are good, I would not recommend this practice or Core Physicians in general.

I often see the NP Melissa which is fine because she is a pleasure. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful, visiting the Doctor isn't a dreadful experience as it can often be. I am usually not waiting very long to see whomever I am there to see. When I need labwork or prescription refills, I just call and it is done. No fuss, no muss. The best part is that Dr. Ficht and Melissa are both down-to-earth, so you can really talk to them. And they listen! Unlike some Dr's who seem to be going through the motions just to get to the next patient. I almost hate telling you all how wonderful they are cause I'm afraid once the secret's out I'll have to wait forever to see them. But I just had to tell you. Just keep it between the two of us, OK?
