Also, extra storage to store the items you decide to bring on board with you. Activities that can fill your day ranges from Snorkeling, Fishing, Lobstering (Seasonal), Sandbar, Grilling, Scubaing, Spear Fishing, and Much Much More!! My family was extremely happy with the Laid Back charter service. We selected a half day of scuba diving and fishing. My parents stayed onboard while my wife and I were spearfishing for lion fish. The captain, Craig, was knowledgable of the area and knew of several great diving and fishing spots. He was friendly and accommodating as well. My dad caught two nice sized yellow tailed snapper and we bagged a lion fish. My father also Hooked into a nice sized shark...he really enjoyed the fight! Craig, took our fish, cleaned and filleted them and returned them to us at our hotel, about an hour later. We had them for dinner just hours after they were caught...they were fantastic! Additionally, Craig treated us like we were captains of his boat and catered to all of our needs, even knowing what we needed before we did! Literally, every aspect of our charter from the reservations, coordinating the pick-up of our dive gear and having everything we would dream of need being on the boat made it phenomenal!!! Second trip with Captain Eric. Boat comfortably seats six. Eric is really enjoyable to be with which made the trip even better for my family. Saw dolphins (many and close up). They are on Eric's payroll so they appear at his request which is an unexpected plus. Also the water was pretty rough today but the boat handles it very well. Out party of 8 felt as if we were just hanging out with a friend with a boat for the day. It all started with Eric asking what we felt like doing and he gave us a lot of options. We started out going to an area to watch Dolphins, which was amazing. Then we went to a coral reef to do some snorkeling. After that we headed to a sandbar to collect shells and sand dollars. Finally, we went to a shallow area where we had lunch ( delicious sandwiches that he ordered and picked up) and just hung out in the beautiful warm, clear water for the rest of the day. Great trip captain Eric is great. Not like most of the trips where you go to this packed out tourist spots. He knows the water and where and when to go. The sunset was amazing and the snorkeling was great. We seen tons of fish, coral, lobster and 2 sharks at both spots we stopped and got into the water for snorkeling. While I was in the Keys recently I came across Laid Back Key West! I am so glad I did! The boat ride was spectacular, including dolphins, some of the clearest waters I've EVER seen, and a super-fun sandbar hangout spot! Eric provided ice cold beer and a great personality..Oh, and he even happened to have some sunscreen on board since I forgot mine! I've gone out on reef dive trips before and always felt like I was looking for something more, well, laid back! Ha! Well I found it, and it was the highlight of my trip!
