This was the last shop I had gone to, hoping I'll find the right dress especially because they had so many pretty dresses, but they were not helpful at all. They kept bringing me dresses that were not what I asked, did not look good with my body type, and were way out of my budget. I have some styles that I had in mind but was opened to trying other style of dresses. Aimee and her team were super helpful, friendly, and so welcoming. It made my whole experience such a great and memorable one. Aimee and her team picked out some dresses for me to try on and I was able to see which style of dress that I really like. I also appreciate Aimee's honest opinion when she see me on certain dress. That was also really helpful to me. The dresses ranged between $1,000 up to $7,000 so there are many options for you to pick from depending on your budget. I fell in love with two of the dresses there and now have a hard time picking it. Lots of beautiful dresses to choose from. Please RUN AWAY from this store now while you still can! I had the absolute worst experience here, and hope to save anyone else from feeling the way I did after visiting this store. In short, the staff here is extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable and insecure on what should be an exciting, beautiful day. I decided to go to Bridals by Aimee because of a certain designer they carried that wasn't available anywhere else in Atlanta. They do have a good selection of designers and dresses, but unfortunately the customer service tainted the experience for me. First, they do not allow you to pick out dresses you would like to try on. After trying on a couple of trumpet silhouette dresses, I gave the feedback that I wasn't liking that style and my consultant kept bringing me the same silhouette. This happened with several other points of feedback as well, which was very frustrating when you aren't able to go pick out a dress for yourself. I understand the need to protect the dresses, but there are ways around this to ensure the bride is using her time efficiently and trying on what she wants to try on. Second, the entire experience was uncomfortable. The dressing rooms are only closed off by a single curtain which my consultant didn't even close behind her when bringing dresses in, leaving me standing there half-naked while other customers could walk right by to go to the restroom. There was no care for the customers as individuals. We also noticed all of the consultants in the store giving their opinion to brides even if it wasn't asked for or warranted. For example, we heard "this one doesn't look as good on you as the other one". One of the consultants even came up to me and touched my stomach and made a face while saying "this dress is made for more European brides". Lastly, no pictures are allowed. Even after we found a dress we were highly considering they wouldn't let us look at the price tag to see the name of the dress or the designer or the price. This is no way to sell a dress to someone, and it honestly makes the customer feel insecure when they should be feeling elated and on cloud nine. I am not exaggerating anything in this review or being overly emotional, unfortunately these are real experiences I had at this store and I truly hope no one else has to feel the way I did leaving this store. I should have left mid-appointment because it was that uncomfortable. To the store owners - PLEASE put more effort into training your employees on customer service and making your customers feel special and understood. This is a big decision for brides and they shouldn't be left questioning themselves in the process because of poor customer service. read more

None of the others held a candle to Bridals by Aimee. I could tell the experience at Bridals by Aimee would be different as soon as I walked in with my 3 guests. She has such a warm, bubbly personality and it's obvious that she genuinely loves helping brides look and feel their best. Everyone in the shop radiated positive vibes, including the other brides and Aimee's assistants. At other stores it felt like the consultants would randomly pick things off the racks and then become agitated when I wasn't impressed. By contrast, Aimee really took the time to get to know my personal style and my wedding theme before she began pulling dresses. And let me tell you, she hand-picked stunner after stunner. She knew exactly which styles would flatter my body type and also had the most unique and beautiful inventory. My guests were wowed by everything, and witnessing their reactions made me even more confident in Aimee's judgment. I ended up buying a dress that I absolutely never would have chosen for myself off the rack, but I'd never seen anything quite like it. I've been meaning to post a review for Bridals by Aimee for a while. After going to a bridal dress shop with terrible service, I was apprehensive of going to other bridal shop. I'm so glad this was the dress shop I went to following that experience. The dresses are not only beautiful. but the ladies working there are super sweet and knowledgeable. The dresses overall are more of a European style, very classy, with them also carrying other styles. The shop and dresses were also clean, and well cared for. They will truly work with you to make this experience the best it can be. I went with my future mother in law, and she was also blown away by the warmth exhibited by the staff (and the beautiful dresses). I ended up going with a dress from another bridal shop, with a dress here being a close second. I really wanted to make sure I gave this shop a shout out though! Aimee owns two stores in Atlanta (the second one is in Druid Hills) and DROVE with me to her other store after I described what I was looking for. I started the day at her sister store (which I didn't know until the end of the appointment) and had found a dress there but still want to keep the appointment at Aimee's, just in case I found something better. I was told I could take the dress with me to Aimee's and compare if I found something there I liked. Which was really nice of them. Her sister store staff are amazing as well. When I walked in we discussed what I was looking for and she listen carefully. She was so warm and welcoming, which you need when trying to find a wedding dress. We tried on a couple and I wasn't totally over the top for them, but then she said, I have something that's not what you asked for but I think you may love. Let's just try it on and see. OMG!
