I found a couple reviews online and all were positive. I decided to give her a try. The office staff are all very nice and the environment is clean and presentable. Dr. Kowal did 4 fillings for me; 2 on top and 2 on bottom. All fillings were between teeth. She tends to rush into the exam room, operate quickly and then leave quickly. She was not very sensitive or gentle while working on my teeth. A couple times I had to ask her to stop because she had her hands pressed on my face while operating and it was uncomfortable. I've been going to dentists all my life and never experienced this before. I've had root canals, wisdom teeth pulled, etc. Immediately following my bottom fillings I was experiencing sensitivity to any temperature of fluid. I called the office and her staff advised me sometimes fillings can take 4-6 weeks to stop being sensitive. I waited a total of 7-weeks, having no use of the left side of my mouth the entire time. I've never had a problem with a tooth healing slowly in the past and I have had fillings and root canals done by other providers. If it were just hot/cold I would have wrote it off as the tooth needing a root canal but even room temperature water was sensitive to the tooth. I went back to Dr. Kowal who offered to do a sedative filling. I asked her to take a new x-ray and examine the current filling for any issues as the sensitivity didn't feel normal. She did the new x-ray and said everything looked fine. I stated I wanted a second opinion and took my new x-ray to my original provider (who is now out of network). My original provider immediately identified 2 issues with Dr. Kowal's filling and later a third issue: First, the filling was not closed on the bottom which allowed liquid to go into the nerve area. Second, the filling was loose; also explains the extreme sensitivity. Third, the cavity was not completely cleaned out and would have had to either be re-done or would've turned into a root canal in time. Two days after my original provider re-did the filling I was feeling significantly better and experiencing little zero sensitivity. My top filling is now also having the same issue. My bottom filling turned into a root canal due to having to be fixed so many times. My top filling is likely going to be a root canal as well. What should have been 2 standard fillings turned into 2 root canals, months of tooth pain and hundreds of dollars spent on crowns due to sloppy work. Just to further confirm my suspicions, my previous provider closely monitors teeth that might be developing a cavity and he said none of the teeth Dr. Kowal worked on showed any signs of a cavity. I refuse to believe in the 6-months between visits I developed 4 cavities. I am concluding Dr. Kowal worked on teeth that did not need fillings and performed sloppy work. Based on this I would NEVER use Dr. Kowal again. UPDATE::: 7/7/16 I have since learned that the teeth Dr. Kowal worked on were marked by my previous provider as going to need fillings in the future. I had previously made the assumption Dr. Kowal worked on teeth that did not need them. That is inaccurate. I still stand by my comments that she is not gentle enough during exams and procedures and the fact that one of my fillings was done very poorly, having multiple issues. I still would not use her again nor would I recommend her.

When I arrived the front desk staff and dental hygienist were there to receive me, both were very friendly and welcoming!! Remember I said PETRIFIED of dentist! I explained (more like emphasized ) to The hygienist my fear! She took her time and was so gentle! Today I went for a filling, again totally petrified based on past experiences! Leta calmed me down with breathing exercises and then Brenda came in with light and laughter! Dr. O was kind and was able to explain everything that needed to be done with grace and class. When I returned for an emergency visit because I was in pain, I expected the problem to be fixed. Instead, the dentist only looked at the tooth and told me I needed to schedule yet another evaluation before any treatment would be done. It felt like unnecessary delays when I was already dealing with an issue that appeared to have resulted from the previous dental work. I ultimately sought a second opinion from another dentist, who treated me during the first visit and explained that the crack was consistent with problems related to the previous filling. That dentist addressed the issue immediately instead of requiring multiple appointments. In my opinion, the repeated office visits felt unnecessary and left me questioning whether patient care was the priority. I lost confidence in this practice and will not be returning. If you're looking for a dentist who stands behind their work and promptly addresses problems when they arise, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Dr. Adam reviewed the x-ray and it was decided that I needed a new filling. I was told what the cost would be and asked if I wished to have the procedure done. i had the procedure completed. Dr. Adam and Jess were very professional, kind and courteous. They answered all of my questions. The office staff was friendly. I left the office confident that my problem had been resolved. I would recommend this office for a quick response to my emergency and for future dental needs.

Fast fwd to Nov 2020 when I received my set of sure smile. After waiting 6 months. Yup i waited 6 months (lets blame it on covid) They were produced and they didn't fit. Had to cut a pieceoff to wear. My top never fit around my teeth. They reorder me more due to their error. Prolonging this procedure again. Not getting the new set again. February 2021. At this point I had them off longe than on. Still receiving the new set of sure smile. That didn't fit, still wrong. Which now is when I start to see They are being weird. When I asked why. (Never got redone,) was forced to wear them without a good fit so that means all teeth weren't moving properly. Now we get to 11/2/22 the assistance walks into the room and says here's your retainer which was #40/40 from the set purchased. Which don't fit. I state i have a few issues still had gaps on bottom teeth. Assistant says oh let me get Dr Jacquie. Dr Jacquie comes into to the room and says without looking at my teeth. Yes teeth looks great. Let's get your retainer. I then state the issues I'm having. SHE instantly gets in defense mode. Dr Jacquie then stated well the sure smile only is 90%. Affective. Since, I never change the resting face I had. I state I didn't pay all that money for 90% . That's not what your prediction showed. Dr Jacquie then pulls up my original picture of my teeth, and say look that's a big difference. With a attitude. I state I paid for something I didn't get. I never said nothing change. I understand I had work to be done. That's what I paid for. I'm not happy. She looks at my mouth and say get a cleaning then come back. She never addresses me again. She looks in her computer typing something. The assistant then says ok maKe an appointment after your cleaning. Basically that was my dismissal. Dr Jacquie states please not until after thanking giving. Say to the assistant we will order a few more I guess. This is my 1st review will come back with the follow up ASAP. I actually liked my progression with them issues. Should've been addressed. Hopefully Dr Jacquie will make this rt.

They actually let your jaw relax so your face doesn't cramp up and took the time to explain things - they provided much better care in my experience. Susan, the dental hygienist, was so gentle and I didn't feel like she was trying to scratch my teeth within an inch of its life. Dr. Taub was very efficient and polite and I have absolutely no complaints.
