Absolutely my favorite place to stay in Atlanta area. Quiet, good food and very relaxing. Clean and comfortable beds.

My wife and I recently had business in Dallas, GA, and we decided to stay at Venue 1905 (formally…read morethe Ragsdale Inn). This is a lovely 1905 farm house, exquisitely decorated. We stayed in The Suite, and I cannot address the other rooms. The house was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. Our hostess made sure that the air condition was set at a comfortable temperature, and she graciously provided us with her own fan. Although breakfast was not prepared for us, we did have total access to the kitchen, including a stocked pantry, stocked refrigerator, stove and oven. We chose to eat breakfast at a nearby fast food establishment both mornings. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, soap, and body lotion. A built-in hair dryer was provided. Our suite was provided with a sitting room, where I set up shop to work on my computer. WiFi signal was strong, and internet speed was good. The inn is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Dallas. The technical college is about a five-minute drive from the inn. Perhaps the inn's greatest asset is its hostess. She was very accommodating, and she did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. The bathroom was equipped with a clawfoot tub / shower. The edge of the tub is high, which could make it difficult for for frail people to enter and exit. There is a grab bar for the toilet. There is no grab bar for the bath tub. The literature for the inn clearly says that pets are not allowed, but be aware that our hostess had an old large arthritic dog who resides at the inn and may bark quite loudly when he first greets you. He is a kind old soul, and I enjoyed his company. But if you you have a thing about dogs, this could be an issue.

Ten stars would not even scratch the surface. As you pull up to this immaculate and well kept inn a…read morebeautiful wrap around porch greets you with a well manicured lawn. Once you step inside you can tell this is a labor of love for the owners. The rooms are spotless just like the entire inn. Attention to detail shines at every step. The snacks and fresh baked goodies that they leave out is just a hint of how much they value their guest. The home made breakfast every morning is unbeatable and the entire staff is very helpful. The room I stayed in was supplied with everything you would ever need and was the clean. Did I mention how clean and fresh everything is? Clean would be an understatement. As far as value goes this place would be worth more than an hours worth to get to a destination. Small town charm with everything close by. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

Our interaction with Brent and his mom (Miss Mary) were great, and I will say, I think it was an extra treat to experience the hospitality of Miss Mary!! Clearly, Brent didn't fall far from the tree (no pun intended)! We booked the 'Rustic Cabin Suite' which was their lowest price room available at the time, but it was well furnished, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a place to stay for two. It was quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Don't forget to take advantage of the Carin winery next door, and I hear (we missed out) the lodge offers an add on steak dinner (plan in advance) that sounds divine, and in that environment, will be on our list for our next visit! The lodge itself is well-appointed with a beautiful seating/gathering/eating area downstairs. Breakfast was great with a menu of French toast and apple bake, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and some of the best flavored coffee I've had in a LONG time (bourbon infused pecan). Beautiful grounds, beautiful people (Brent, Miss Mary, and fellow guests) and you can't go wrong with a stay at the beautiful Bent Tree Lodge and Vineyard!!

They seemed to show up when we had questions, yet never intrusive. The property is immaculate. The beautiful home, grounds and all of the amenities were carefully planned. They thought about what may be needed. I did not need anything. The homemade chocolate chip cookies, chocolates, other snacks and enough water if needed throughout the night welcomed us were another thoughtful touch. Breakfast each morning was truly an experience. We enjoyed a two-course breakfast, and the innkeepers let us know what would be served while also making sure our dietary preferences were accommodated, including that some in our group did not eat pork. From French toast to eggs and grits accompanied by fruit, everything was delicious. Even smelling breakfast being prepared made you look forward to sitting down and enjoying every morsel. Whether sitting and swinging on the front porch, sauna, stretching on mats, lifting weights, on treadmill, cycling, watching movie on the big screen, it was really easy to relax and settle here. I could easily see myself returning.

The innkeepers greeted its and took us for a tour of the entire property. The immaculately clean home boasts a pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, theater room, and a catch and release pond on 19 serene acres off of Sandy Creek Rd. in Fayetteville, GA. I say home because they encourage you to make yourself at home. The hosts were remarkable. Therefore did you all the privacy that you needed, but somehow we needed information they appeared as it by magic. The experience is next level! And they were concerned not only about your experience on the property, they were ready to assist with your experience offsite as well. They had restaurant and activity recommendations to satisfy every taste. Of course you can't talk about a bed and breakfast without talking about the breakfast. OMG!!! Best breakfast ever. Homemade scones with homemade blueberry butter, quiche Lorraine, waffles, and fresh pressed coffee!! I felt like royalty...and don't get me talking about that bacon! I can't stop thinking about it. Truly a perfect getaway! I can't wait to return.
