There were so many thoughtful touches, like handcut flowers in a vase, a personalized note from the owner greeting us with our keys, corkscrew, ice bucket, and wine glasses. We had the privilege of speaking with Lynn, the owner, and she was so helpful and friendly. The inn was clean and beautifully decorated. Everything is within convenient driving distance. The owners served breakfast and though did *NOT* REQUIRE masks for Covid protection, they did wear masks and also showed off their extra-disinfectant machine and other anti-Covid preparations that they were taking. VERY affordable for us ~ $130+taxes and fees for 1 Friday night during Covid, I'm not sure if that was a lower price due to quarantine but it was a definite value from our perspective. They do a great job of helping you set expectations, and they handle basically everything except for a photographer and your favors. They are incredibly kind. Being a same sex couple we did not know what to expect. The Conservatory did an amazing job of treating us like everyone else, even going as far as editing their forms to groom/groom. We were treated like any other opposite sex couple and to us, that meant more than anything. They are clear and concise in what is included, what it will cost and there are NO surprises at the end. They made our day special. We were not rushed the day of, and the coordinators took special care of my husband and I as well as our family. If you're going in not sure what to expect, or if you know exactly what you want, the people here are amazing. They also provide the catering, and the food was top notch. The room was disgusting. The floors were so dirty that my wife and I wouldn't walk on it without shoes on. The HVAC system had an odor to it. There were paint splatters on the TV. The tub has a permanent scum mark around it. The grab handle is loose at the wall which has been attempted to be repaired multiple times with unskilled labor. The cultured marble surround is old, stained and discolored. The toilet seat is loose. The grounds outside the building are very nicely landscaped. The building itself doesn't need to be razed, but a complete gut job is required if all rooms look like 211. In addition, the elevator safety inspection is current, however it appears to be quite used. The luggage dolly has a wobbly wheel. The room doors do not open and close easily, leading to a lot of slammed doors throughout the night and morning. Corporate, if you're reading, this hotel is doing nothing for your brand. Sans the exterior appearance, the hotel and operation need an abundance of repair and training to meet the requirements your brand normally delivers.

There is NO complimentary breakfast. Room 309 has a door lock that wouldnt work. However, room 306 had a fully functional lock. The provided WI-FI access code was incorrect. Only one of the two elevators were operational. I've stayed at Holiday Inns that provided a better traveler experience, but the actual room, in some ways, was better than a Holiday Inn, as it has a full size refrigerator and a cooktop. I didnt hear other guests, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure good and the AC did its job.

The kitchen has everything you would need to cook a meal, but you will have to buy your own seasonings. The room was nice and chilly when I arrived, which is great. I have stayed in hotels where the AC is broken throughout the building OR there is a governor on how cold the manager will let it go. Only noise heard are doors opening and closing. Very quiet. I also liked that I had the option of purchasing all of the alcohol myself (huge cost savings!). I chose a few decorating upgrades, and The Grande (and its sister location The Conservatory) have so many options for decor on hand at very reasonable prices. The venue is beautiful and had lots of great locations for pictures. It was also nice that there are several outdoor locations to choose from for the ceremony, included a covered outdoor area. The bridal suite was comfortable and spacious. My only (very minor) complaint is that the groom's area is a little underwhelming. Everything went so smoothly during the event. There are 39 hole courses stretching through this historic East Cobb neighborhood. Cool houses and great looking holes out there. Some of the holes are blind dog leg shots with layup options or hitting bombs over the trees. The greens were slow, but rolled really pure and we were obviously able to make a lot of putts. Apparently, there is a five-year waitlist at this golf club and for good reason. Located right there in Indian Hills neighborhood convenient to all of the residents of East Cobb. The cost to join here has to be significantly less than Cherokee town and country club. Quality plays some glad I finally had the opportunity to play it .

We…read morejust happened to be driving by and noticed the gathering on the lawn, which appeared to be open to the public. We took care of our errand at Home Depot and came back / found parking and found a spot on the greens about an hour before dusk. Kids were playing everywhere and out little one loved it. The fireworks started and lasted for a good 15-20 minutes. It was a spectacular setting! Our little one was viscerally moved by the fireworks by trying to grab them out of the air. Afterwards we walked back to the car and along the way neighboring homeowners kept the show alive with additional fireworks overhead. How fun! Lucky we went too before July 4th ended up being rained out with t-storms and lightning. Can't wait to come again next year.
