The water was Luke warm. Upon inspection the freezer was defrosting, outshine popsicles were literally running down the inside! We called Tom's Appliance repair. The Technician (Brad) told dispatcher he could swing by before end of day and look at our refrigerator. Meanwhile we emptied everything that was salvageable ( flight of the bumblebee) into our coolers to try and save what we could . Brad came less than 2 hours after the first call, troubleshot the refrigerator ( older fridge) actually had the failed part in his vehicle, gave us an estimate and proceeded with the repair. Within 3 hours of our first call, the refrigerator was repaired and blowing ice cold again! I cannot say how much we appreciate the professional treatment by Tom's. Beginning with the first call to the dispatcher who bent over backwards to assist us, to Brad coming and saving our bacon, literally. We have always been happy with Tom's service but, this was OVER THE TOP. We cannot thank the employees of Tom's for the extra effort put forth to help out a customer. Truly Service with a "Can Do" Attitude!

The exhaust fan in our food trailer went sideways on us recently, which immediately put us in…read morecrisis mode. Called one shop that works specifically on these types of units. He proceeds to tell me if my electric motor went out, it is not possible to repair it. I would have to buy a completely new exhaust fan housing unit. You mean i can't just have the motor rebuilt. No! You have to buy an entire brand new unit, housing and all. That's like if the starter went out on my car, just replace the entire engine. When people tell me junk like that, that's when i love to prove them wrong. I took the entire unit off the roof. It took me, my son, and nephew, to lower it down. I tore every piece apart, removed the electric motor, pressure washed it, and that's when a good friend told me about Hunt's. Took the motor to Mr. Dave, who by the way is a super duper nice guy. Explained the crisis i was in, and to my amazement he rebuilt my motor overnight, and i picked it up the next morning. When does that ever happen? Reassembed all the pieces, reinstalled the electric motor, sealed it up good, bolted it back on the roof, and our food trailer was back in business. Our customers were so SO happy! Big thanks to you Mr. Dave for recognizing our crisis. To the guy that told me it couldn't be done, go play in the freeway!

I won't embarrass the authorized John Deere dealer in Redding by telling you how much it was going…read moreto cost me to diagnose and then fix my D140 lawn tractor that would not start. I replaced the ignition switch and starter solenoid myself and that worked for a while then it wouldn't start again. They offered to test them, but didn't do so when I brought the parts in, but did give me a new switch. It cost me $75 for Tim's Mobile Repair to come to my house, which included 30-minutes of repair time, and that's all it took for him to fix the problem. A little clip on a plug that was part of the wiring harness broke. There is no doubt in my mind that I saved somewhere between $200 to $400 on this simple repair. Next time I'll know what to look out for. And one more thing, the dealer told me they couldn't even get around to looking at my D140 for at least 2-weeks.

The stove they had us go with was supposed to have those functions, later found out that both functions are a gimmick on that particular model. Definitely feels like we were scammed.
