The water was Luke warm. Upon inspection the freezer was defrosting, outshine popsicles were literally running down the inside! We called Tom's Appliance repair. The Technician (Brad) told dispatcher he could swing by before end of day and look at our refrigerator. Meanwhile we emptied everything that was salvageable ( flight of the bumblebee) into our coolers to try and save what we could . Brad came less than 2 hours after the first call, troubleshot the refrigerator ( older fridge) actually had the failed part in his vehicle, gave us an estimate and proceeded with the repair. Within 3 hours of our first call, the refrigerator was repaired and blowing ice cold again! I cannot say how much we appreciate the professional treatment by Tom's. Beginning with the first call to the dispatcher who bent over backwards to assist us, to Brad coming and saving our bacon, literally. We have always been happy with Tom's service but, this was OVER THE TOP. We cannot thank the employees of Tom's for the extra effort put forth to help out a customer. Truly Service with a "Can Do" Attitude!

The dryer parts were replaced and during my discussion with "Chris" the service tech we did decide to try less soap in the washing machine and see if it stops the noise before tearing it apart and replacing parts. The following day, I washed a light load and when I went to dry them, the dryer was making the same horrible noise after having the parts replaced. I reached out to the service tech and sent him a video of the dryer, making the horrible noise, even with nothing in the dryer. Because this has been an issue since day one when we bought them, and we have been given the biggest run around and lied to now for 4 months. I requested that we returned the washer and dryer and buy a different brand (speed Queen). I just want a working washer and dryer!!!! Thursday March 26, 2026 Lewis Chuck, who sold me the washer and dryer called and offered to give us $1200.00 for the new set we just paid $2216.75 for! In return, we return the washer, dryer, pedestals. *PLUS!!! LEWIS TOLD ME, "YOU ALSO HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR YELP REVIEW".******** I told Lewis we were NOT going to accept $1200.00 for a defective washer and dryer we paid $2216.75 for. What "really upset me" is, I felt like I was being bribed into removing my "HONEST YELP REVIEW" and "UPDATES". Bribery is illegal!!! When removing a review on Yelp, Yelp asks, "if you were offered a refund or other compensation to remove this review". In a world with so much corruption. I REFUSE to be a part of it!!!! We are now seriously considering a Civil matter in court to get the resolution we feel will be fair to us as a consumer.

I replaced the ignition switch and starter solenoid myself and that worked for a while then it wouldn't start again. They offered to test them, but didn't do so when I brought the parts in, but did give me a new switch. It cost me $75 for Tim's Mobile Repair to come to my house, which included 30-minutes of repair time, and that's all it took for him to fix the problem. A little clip on a plug that was part of the wiring harness broke. There is no doubt in my mind that I saved somewhere between $200 to $400 on this simple repair. Next time I'll know what to look out for. And one more thing, the dealer told me they couldn't even get around to looking at my D140 for at least 2-weeks.
