Our furnace wasn't working correctly and our gas fireplace chose just that time to start acting up as well, so I did what one does when you don't know who to call; I came to Yelp. We reviewed multiple companies and decided, based off of the reviews, to call Phil Carpenters. I spoke with Brandon when I called to see if they service my area (far Eastern Shasta County, WELL outside of Redding). He was very friendly, helpful, he asked a lot of good questions about the problems we were having, confirmed that they do service my area and scheduled me promptly for service. He told me who to expect and what time to expect them. Guys, this is not Dish or Direct that give a 6 hour window of when their tech MAY arrive. Brandon told me that Andrew would be here at 8am (which I really doubted because of where we live), and a few minutes before 8, Andrew arrived! He was on time (early), knowledgeable, skilled, polite, explained the problems we had been having, and fixed EVERYTHING! If that was not enough the service fee was incredibly reasonable! We hired them for a complete master bathroom remodel: replacing a fiberglass shower insert with a stunning Sentrel shower surround; moving the toilet and the HVAC register from the weird locations the builders chose in 1976; and installing a new vanity, recessed ceiling lights, and exhaust fan. We also had them install the same kind of fan and lights in our front bathroom. William produced one of the most detailed proposals I have ever seen, and subsequent change orders were a breeze, partly because of the project management software system they use, but mostly because their personal communication is stellar. There were a few days that we also had other service professionals working in the house, which meant having to deal with a lot of moving parts, and all of this was occurring in the wake of having lost my father. Heather helped me manage the chaos, providing both professional and emotional support with incredible patience and kindness. We rented chairs for our ceremony as well as tables and chairs for our outdoor reception. Everything they provided was in amazing shape and beautiful, our guests were impressed and we were thrilled about how the tables and chairs made the entire look our of very rustic outdoor camping wedding come together! It would not have been the same if we had not rented their farm tables! The day of the wedding they brought everything, set it up, checked in with us one placement and specifics and were just as efficient with pick up. We don't live locally, but Jesse was easy to contact, responsive, willing to discuss different rental options and overall made it very easy to plan everything without having to be local.
