He walked us through the features/benefits of the system and provided an excellent detail explanation of the LG Washer/Dryer operation to reset our understanding and expectations of the system. So far, Lake Appliance has visited the property twice. The first time he was there for 10 minutes and today 4 minutes. Each time they reported that no problem was found. When I questioned the first visit, I was told that 10 minutes was sufficient to diagnose the issue. Before realizing the unit should be covered under warranty, I had a local appliance repair company come out. They spent about an hour diagnosing the washer and determined that the gear casing is faulty, with an estimated repair cost of around $700. read more

Start off this is the second time using lake . Paid my 125 for diagnostic appointment. Waited no phone call door bell rings . Comes in diags my dryer 15 minutes needs 389.plus just for part plus labor now need to pay for part . I paid 3 days he shows up no part. I was to be drop shipped next day . He comes out and said well you diagnosed it hope it fixes it . Looked at him and said that's why i paid you 125.he install part and same problem. Mind you lg 18 months old and he now has to diag it again tell me it some sensor takes my part that i paid for and this is 4 time out for repair third week . I call lake canceled my appointment for repair still haven't got my 389. Or diag 125 . Buyer beware . Not a reputable company asked for manger to call me never heard a word or refund as of yet . We had an issue with our new whirlpool refrigerator. Warranty Service sent out Joshua from Lake Appliance Repair Joshua was knowledgeable and friendly after contacting whirlpool technicians. I was told that one or two drips from the water dispenser is normal. I recommend and will call Lake Appliance Repair if we need any further assistance. read more

they have "fixed" my parents fridge several times, only for my parents to lose hundreds of dollars in groceries. they are unreachable when you need them most, and you can't call an emergency repair person because it'll void your warranty, but they also don't come out for days. at this point, I will be having an emergency repair person come out and send Lake Appliance "Repair" the invoice. terrible company, costing my parents an exorbitant amount of money. read more

After a series of unsuccessful interactions with another local repair service, Lake came through for us. This company has excellent communications electronically and person to person. Marshall quickly diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator, and repaired it after he received the part, on the second visit. Lake Appliance repair are a bunch of CROOKS. Lake Appliance tried to charge me ($125.00) for a Service Call to diagnose a compressor problem that had already been diagnosed by a Samsung Factory Tech Rep. Lake Appliance thinks that customers especially elderly retired folks on a fixed pension can and will shell out money to CROOKS who double charge. Well I got news for Lakeside Appliance they are not going to charge ($125.00) this retired first responder to come out and tell me the same thing the other Samsung Factory Tech Rep said. I hope that other potential customers read this and head for a Factory Tech like BOB (Fake Name) who is trust worthy. Lake Appliance go jump off the bridge you CROOKS! read more

After three attempts at repairing our appliance it still does not work. Not hopeful of their ability remedy the problem.

do not waste your time with this business!!! if i could give a zero i would. had a fridge repair schedule though lake appliance. things started well as parts were pre-shipped to my house. earliest appointment was 3 days out, which was no big deal. tech showed up (he was awesome) and was able to get the new compressor installed quickly. he did give us a warning that we needed to let the fridge run for at least 24hrs before we put food in to make sure it was working correctly. lowand behold the fridge was not functioning properly. i attempted to contact lake appliance through phone/text with no response. emailed to schedule an appointment. received a text back later in the day that i needed to go back through lg (flat fee repair) to have them rescheduled to come back out. even though they "fixed it" i need to go through some long drawn out process to even know whats wrong and what steps to fix. i decided to bypass lg and just book an appointment and pay direct to lake appliance. scheduled an appointment and got a conformation emal-yet buried in the conformation email is a link where you have to prepay before the will book the appointment. just a gigantic waste of time, no way to get ahold of a real person and after a week i'm no closer to a working fridge. do not use this business! read more

Like most people, our experience with them was driven by LG sending them out to repair our fridge. The only reason I'm giving two stars is that the tech was very friendly and professional. But, it ended there. By the next morning after doing the "repair", everything in the freezer was melting and the ice maker wouldn't produce. After several calls to try and get them back, they finally called and said the next available was 2 weeks out. They said LG would be responsible for any food lost and not their problem. Since it was their repair that caused the issue, I asked for some urgency and got a blank stare. The rep on the phone couldn't care less that our 3 year old fridge is now basically useless till they can find time to come back and fix what they broke. Clearly a corporate operation with zero regard for customer service. Collect the fee from the big brands (who are also zero help) and move on. Keep your expectations low or stick with local repair people that have a vested interest in their communities. read more

Our Kitchenaid -built in microwave needed service repair due to a squeaking noise on the door. they sent Lake appliance the next day after my call. Josh was professional and knowledgeable. We had a problem with our ice maker on our KitchenAid. Contacted the manufacturer and they coordinated a service call with Lake Appliance Repair. The day before the service call I received a text from Lake Appliance providing a link to provide payment for the service call that was scheduled for the following day. I advised the appt was only the following day and no services were rendered. They stated that if a pre-payment was not received then they would cancel my appt. and they did, nobody showed up. Is this the new normal? Pay for service prior to receiving it......hell, what's my assurance the tech would even show up!! read more

Had a KitchenAid microwave that was still under warranty "repaired" by Lake Appliance. While the technician was very nice and professional, he was basically just a parts replacer. The chime on my very expensive microwave still doesn't have a very loud sound. I will never use these people again. read more

Our newer Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator freezer quit working properly. The defrost sensor and fan mechanism failed. I called fridgetaire and they set up Lake appliance repair to do the work. After scheduling an appointment, we had 2 different technicians. 1st one was Marshall who came and diagnosed the problem. A part had to be ordered and it arrived within a week. Our 2nd technician Paul, replaced the part for us. Both technicians were courteous and knowledgeable. A big thanks to both of you. We live in challenging times with supply chain and labor issues across-the-board. People need to be more patient and just roll with it. I bought a new whirlpool dryer from home depot Prescott Valley. After just two weeks the dryer stopped working. Home depot told me I had to go through the manufacturer for service. I spent hours on the phone with whirlpool to get an appt for service. I was assigned Lake Appliance Repair. My appt was 12-4 on a Thurs. The technician got lost and called me for directions. Then called and left a message and he had the wrong address. I called him back within 7 mins. and no one answered. I called 5 times. Then I had to call Lake Appliance Repair to explain and was given a new appt for Fri from 8-12. The technician did not come or call. I called the Appliance Repair again and was told it would be an hour or two. 3 hours and 15 mins. later I am still waiting and had to cancel appointments etc. Basically spent two whole days waiting for service. Absolutely terrible scenario. Do not recommend at all. read more
