We called these folks to service an electrical issue with our Conduction Cooktop that was changing…read moretemperatures and turning off randomly. When the technician arrived he informed us that there was a hairline crack in the glass and we would have to pay to replace it prior to diagnosing the electrical issue, and he gave me a price. After he left I had a look at the glass cooktop, and there was a large crack going across it that was NOT there prior to the technician's visit. I talked to him, and asked him about the crack, that was not there prior to their visit. Pro Appliance called me back, said it was my word against theirs. And that they would not do the repair any longer because I assused their technician of breaking the glass. Well the reason I accused the Technician of breaking the glass is because the crack was not there prior to the technician coming out, and it was there after they left. I clean that cooktop twice daily, and there was no crack. I offered to pay for the repair reguardless, and they still refuse to pay. I don't know when companies stopped acting with integrity. When people stopped taking responsibility for their actions. Pro Appliance lies, and refuses to back up their work.

It took two weeks from first call to get washing machine fixed and it was a simple part. On first…read morevisit I was told to be home for repairman from 7:30-8:30 am. Rearranged work schedule, 10:00, still no repairman. When I called they said we were accidentally bumped to bottom of rotation. Anyway when repairman comes, he was competent and quickly diagnosed problem to simply replaced part. Problem was he didn't have it and had to order it. Ok so what's a couple more days (it took a week to get them there to start). Well days go by, still no word. I called again (no chance for them to call me), they say part comes in but even when it comes in, they're booked out a week to put in the part!! I begged and they finally work me into the schedule (total time to replace part less than 10 min). So two weeks later it's finally fixed, and paid full price. Seems that the actual repairman is good, but management/scheduling has major issues. Next time I will try someone else...

So, you just give out random names (with no last names) without knowing their reputations. The lady then said, "My Mondays are busy I can't help you" and she turned her back on me. I initially called the manufacturer and they informed ma based on what I described that it was the compressor. And since 'this unit has been out of production for a long time they no longer carried the spare parts. I called a friend who has several larger units and has bought spare compressors to keep them running. Jd informed me that his large ones the costs were about $2000 each. He informed me that the smaller ones were about a $1000. I tried to find the compressor but non available even through eBay. I called Apache and Mike got back with me and recommended to buy a new unit. After 14 years there was bound to be more things to go wrong and the repair cost he estimated at a $1000.
