I am a professional dog trainer (Victoria Stilwell Academy) and a therapy dog chapter director and I've owned something like 10 dogs in my life. Tavish is, by far, the sweetest, most affectionate and intelligent dog we have ever owned. He bonded with us the instant we met him and he is constantly with us. I used him as my "demo dog" in my dog training curriculum and he won the hearts of everyone who has met him. But wait...there is more. He is a registered therapy dog and has made more than 100 visits to various care facilities where he is in high "demand". Tavish also just recently won first place in Agility League at our local Zoom Room. He's been at it for over a year and practice pays off. His league mates included a Jack Russel and a Boarder Collie and he bested them by a wide point margin. We lucked out at Fox Creek. There's no real balance when it comes to their prices so just know that going in. We bought our dog a few hide-free bones and a toy, which they have a great selection of both. However, with the confusion on prices, I'm unsure if we will be back for anything other than the treats we normally buy her and toys (since those were reasonable). Oh! And they have Ziwi which is normal priced, so that's a bonus!

I have been rescuing animals for over 30 years including feral cat clinics, transports, dog/cat and…read moresmall animal rehabilitation etc. This is one of the cleanest and most well run places. They animals are in great condition and they genuinely care about the animals. They go over and above every day. The cats are not kept in cramped cages but allowed to move around freely in the bigger rooms. I adopted two cats and a dog from here. When I went to pick the first kitty up during the adoption, several people came up to me to give him a last hug. My second kitty developed a very bad virus and ended up needing special care. They literally took care of him for four weeks until he was well and I could come get him and bring him home. Very well run facility with exceptional staff and management!
