But here's the horrible part, when he came back from the back room he placed my item in the box and closed it as to make it uncomfortable for me to open it again and examine it while I was there. When I got home I took the piece out and the part he hammered in literally fell out on the floor! He had to know he broke the pin's and just put it back in the box hoping I would wait till I got home to examine it and not in the store. And this was the owner himself, never again with them!

I told him I was a novice fisherman and brought in my broken reel. He took time to walk me through my options, troubleshoot it, and explained the best way to catch fish that weekend based on conditions and bait. Super informative, thorough, and overall friendly. The store has all the gear you need, it's organized and clean. I walked away more educated and appreciated his expertise. I have called many times and left messages as well as stopping by the shop when their hours board says they should be open. I haven't been able to get in touch with anybody and cannot get my tank back. Hopefully this gets resolved soon but I would never do business with this dive shop again. Very disappointing since we don't have any local alternatives for dive equipment servicing.

I feel so much more confidant know diving our turbulent Northern California waters. . We did our first four ocean dives and my surf training in Monterey, but I finished my ocean dives in Fiji. USS Watersports regularly plans trips both here in California as well as warm water locals. It was great to be able to get an additional week of diving in, with my instructor, in such an amazing location. If your looking for a dive excursion, check out the dive trips that USS Watersports organizes. Before you go, the store has some dive gear in stock but even though they don't keep a large stock on hand they can order anything you want at great prices. I can't recommend this shop enough. The experience working with them as been fabulous. I can hardly wait for the next trip I take with them to Catalina next year.
