So happy to have a new vet! My veterinarian office changed hands two years ago and my first experience was terrible. She recommended that I go to another vet for a second opinion (after charging me $1000). When I called here I was distraught that my cat might have a huge tumor that needed to be removed. Turns out the previous vet just did not do her x ray properly, causing my cats intestines to be over on one side. This office was kind, efficient and did the scan properly, showing my cat was fine. She gets recurrent infections so I have purchased her special food and that is helping - which was verified by a urine culture performed by this vet as well, all for much less than I was charged by the new owner of my previous vet clinic. I am so so happy to have found a new, more competent vet for my babies! read more

We've been going to LFAC for years. They have always taken great care of our dogs and cats. We adopted a senior, very abused, medically fragile dog from our shelter. No one thought he'd live a month. Through the help of LFAC, he made it almost 3 years. The old boy touched many lives by visiting nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and youth detention facilities. Without the care of Drs. I had to take my Maltese to Lake Forrest to be put down, had a vet through 2 dogs, Saturday they were closed, so was given their name as being open, through all my vet visits of others, I have never been treated so wonderful, our animals are our family, never before had they seen me or my pet, but that didn't make any difference, if your vet doesn't treat your animal like a member of your family, leave, wish I had so many years ago. A coworker told me that her relative called LFAC before a hurricane because her dog was sick and her regular vet's office didn't return her calls. One of the vets from Lake Forest came in and opened the clinic to treat a dog that was not his patient. I was determined this was the kind of vet I wanted to use for my little crazy pup. So, on to my experience. We called on a Saturday to make an appointment for shots and boarding for Friday. When we arrived Friday, they had forgotten to write down the appointment. They fit her in anyway. One of the vet techs also let us walk her back and put her in the kennel and showed us where she would be staying. She even introduced us to her personal dog, a pit bull, which scored major brownie points because we're pittie lovers. So are they, which assures me they know a lot about dogs. They were even kind enough to call her old vet to obtain her shot records since I somehow lost them in the move. When we called to check on her they assured us she was doing fine and was being a very sweet girl. When we realized we weren't going to make it back in time to pick her up, we called and they said it was no problem for her to stay another night. Thank goodness! I had to work they day after we returned home so my hubby picked her up. He told me they didn't give him her shot records so I called and asked them to fax them to me. They gladly did so, and did it promptly. Of course, when I got home, her shot records were laying on the bar with the receipt stapled to them. He said they did try to sell him a few other services, but they weren't pushy about it. One of the things was teeth cleaning, which she honestly needs. All in all, it was a good experience. I think we've found Jazzy's new vet. Let's hope we only have to see them for regular appointments and no crazy incidents. read more

I took my cat to LFAC on Saturday after three days of not eating and consistent vomiting. I was informed she had a bowel obstruction and needed surgery they couldn't perform due to the clinic closing at noon and limited staffing. I was referred to MedVet in Mobile at Dr. Morgan's recommendation because his surgeon friend worked there. His friend wasn't even on call or working. I reluctantly took my cat home after trying to find someone that could help. Lucky for me she made it through the weekend. I took her to our regular vet who reviewed the x-rays performed at LFAC and obtained new ones. According to him their were absolutely no signs of an obstruction and I would have been out over $5000 for an unnecessary "emergent" surgery. On a side note though the office staff and vet tech were absolutely amazing. They were very kind and compassionate with us and you could truly see they loved animals. read more

Great staff, and Dr. Morgan & Dr. Hudson are great! Took great care of our pup, and the staff and docs called multiple times to keep us posted and check on Penny once she came home. Very impressed w the care they show! We didn't know what to expect pricewise which was a little unnerving in the end, but I understand that it's not possible to let us know every little fee before it's necessary to happen. I love both Dr Morgan and Dr Hudson. They take wonderful care of my animals and the vet techs are fantastic. My only complaint is the bill of course, I do think they charge what too much and it is worth it to me but some might call this a dealbreaker read more

My little family loves this vet. We previously used Dykes in Foley and we were worried about finding another one we really liked. With having three dogs we were able to try out a few. We used Lake Forest second and haven't wanted to try another vet again. The tech is able to trim my crazy dogs nails with no problems while Petsmart tried telling me they were so horrible they should be sedated for nail trims. They explain everything in a way common people understand and they are funny. My dogs love their pet cats that lounge around. They are just wonderful. I want to share my experiences dealing with LFAC. The vet Dr. Morgan and his staff are the most caring and compassionate group at any vet clinic I've ever delt with. They treated my girls sweet Puggy like she was their own puppy. Our Puggy was super sick and they went above and beyond what I expected to save our sweet Puggy. Our Puggy was in the clinic for around 6 days so that meant my girls wanted to see their Puggy. When we went to the back where she was kept the staff would help explain to girls all that was going on with her. During the last visit my 8 yo. daughter began to cry due to her Puggy being so sick, one of the staff girls walked over to her and gave her a big hug. To me this meant the world that this group of people cared not only for our sweet Puggy but they cared about our family as well. I will always share our experience with my friends about how this family including our sweet Puggy were treated by Dr. Morgan and his wonderful staff.
