Lake Harriet Florist came as a recommendation from our venue (The Fountain Room) - and wow, what a recommendation! They designed centerpieces that would inspire brides to be, as if they were direct from a magazine. We planned our wedding from afar, and worked with Lesley and staff remotely. From only a few Pinterest pictures and a couple phone calls, they took a dream and made it perfect! Our centerpieces featured large gorgeous candelabras, with stunning floral arrangements. Even better, guests were able to detach the large arrangements and bring them home. My bouquet was equally as beautiful. I loved large round bouquets and this did not disappoint. It was sturdy and held its glamour all night. We know our Moms will be preserving their corsages, because like everything, they loved them and couldn't stop remarking about their beauty. But Lake Harriet did not top there - their attention to detail, ability to have two delivery locations, and the staff's creativity, passion, care, and kind attitudes are what really made the night! I live in Fargo and called for a nice arrangement for an aunt's funeral in the cities last year. After seeing their Facebook pictures, I am glad I called Lake Harriet Florist. WOW, I was overwhelmed at beauty of the arrangement. The classy, unique arrangement exceeded my expectations. They captured exactly what I was describing as I did not want a traditional funeral spray but wanted flowers to capture the beauty of the woman. When I needed to make arrangements for another funeral arrangement last month, they came through (even during Valentine's) to deliver an even more superior arrangement. The wreath that surrounded the urn was very elegant, unique, and was elevated to be seen at the front of the church. I wish we had this store in Fargo! This florist is a class act for sure! My wonderful experience began with my phone call! The woman that answered the phone was sooo nice and pleasant. It was in the middle of the Christmas rush and she wasn't stressed or rushed at all! And they had peonies in December for the two different arrangements that I wanted sent! I had one of my friends send a picture of the arrangement she received and it was to die for! Beautiful, perfect roses, peonies and Christmas greens. They added these little sparkly silver Pom Pom things that were so cute and made it really festive looking! No cheap plastic additions ( totally fine if they don't look cheap!) and no cheap filler flowers. This place is a class act! Will definitely order from them again. Naomi of LHF helped me work out an order that was not delivered because the local telephone number and address advertised was really some kind of flower order forwarder located in Canada. The flowers were never delivered and I got the charges reversed but not with out Naomi's help. She went way out of her way to accommodate me and get it straightened out. Had the BEST experience with this florist! My wife and I are celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary. I called Naomi and mentioned that this anniversary recognizes the blue sapphire. She graciously accommodated my request by assembling an arrangement of blue delphiniums and hydrangeas. I called Thursday late morning and they were delivered early Thursday afternoon.
