Our first time at LH RV Park. We spent 4 days. The RV spaces are mostly back in, spaces a good distance from each other. The pad size are noted on the park map. Not all full hookups, but no worry, fast service arrives w a call to the office. We love the shade, a little tricky getting satellite signal. Attentive family running the park. The beach is great, parking ample during the week. You may catch fish from the pier!? I can't, . This is a very active park. A well kept park. If all had full hookups I would have made it 5, but it does not distract from overall like of this gem. read more

Our group went there this weekend Nice people , nice park . The only thing I would ask is to have a handicap bathroom. There are 3 restroom buildings but not ADA , as one that needs the bars around a handicap toilet this would really be nice . Thanks read more

What a wonderful place to camp. We had a lovely time and are excited about going back soon. They have such friendly and helpful staffing. The whole place is immaculate. I've never seen a cleaner bath house. The lake is clean and roped off for safety. The beach is clean, sandy and has picnic tables and bbq pits galore. There's a pier and canoes and kayaks for rent at $10 an hour. That's a pretty normal price. There's so much shade for the RV's and the pads are a really good distance from each other. There's a bbq pit and picnic table on a pad at each site. There's even a playground for the kids. The thing we liked MOST is how quiet the campground was. Awesome! read more

Great spot! We had site 14 for 4 days in July. The bathrooms were clean, the beach is well maintained, the camp was nicely shaded, and very quiet. We visited a few wineries nearby, had dinner at the Italian restaurant down the street a s hung out at the camp the rest of the weekend. No loud music, no issues at all. It was a great weekend. We will return and highly recommend this place! read more

My husband and I have been at Lake Hawkins RV Park for the last month and have had a very enjoyable and relaxed stay. Although there are limited sites with full hookups, they do offer, for $5, to come empty your tanks if you are at a site without sewer, which we are. There are many pines and oak trees in the park and most site have some degree of shade. We have 3 dogs and although we do not let them roam free, we do enjoy being outside with them not on leashes to play ball. This has not been an issue in the park. The lake is close with both a boat ramp and small dock for bank fishing. We have enjoyed walks and bike rides on the relatively quiet county roads in the area surrounding the park. The town of Hawkins is a close 3 miles away with a Brookshire's grocery store and a wonderful restaurant we ate at today, Res Rooster Icehouse (we enjoyed an outstanding burger and chicken sandwich followed by a sinful dessert). Will definitely be staying here again when in this area. read more

We originally came here last year it was so peaceful and relaxing to put a tent up. Well this time not so much there were other campers blaring there tejano and other ones playing Garth Brooks. It is now 1:30 am they're still blaring there music. Very disappointed no one has came and told them to turn down there music. Also the bathrooms were nasty. Tampons on the floors and other nasty stuff. read more
