We went last week and were pretty disappointed. Golf carts were dirty, cabin had bugs and spiderwebs, bunk bed wasn't pilot secured to the wall, didn't have enough utensils, no sponge to clean the dishes, no trash bags, pots and pans shoved into the cabinets like it hadn't been checked. We talked to the front office about it and they said they would call housekeeping and nothing.. none of the issues were fixed besides the coffee maker. We also ordered from the canteen and it was the slowest service I have ever experienced. The employees seemed completely lost and not sure how to run it. For the amount of money we spent, we expected a little more. Probably won't return and will go To camp Fimfo. read more

Planned my daughters 6th birthday party. Upon making the reservations i was told NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED, that there is a cafe there to be able to purchase the pizzas for the kids. Our party arrived and EVERYONE at the park had their own snacks, food, drinks etc. So we paid $50 for pizzas for the party and one of the women in the cafe was kind enough to supply the drinks after i explained to her that i added the birthday package to the reservation and dont even know what i paid for because nothing about paying the extra amount made it a special birthday for my daughter. The bear appearance is included in the "birthday package" but there are only set times for the bear to appear and you have to gather your entire group to go to him. (i was told he would only be at the arcade and that's where we would have to go to see him) But then he appeared near by the cafe an hour & 1/2 later once almost all of our kids were gone :( The cafe told me they couldn't refrigerate our birthday cake, then said that they could. VERY VERY VERY TERRIBLE communication and so embarrassing for me with the other parents that attended. A couple of the other kids from school were considering having their birthday there and now ARE NOT. Ultimately, im just glad the kids were ages 5-7 to hopefully not notice the inconveniences and chaos, but it stuck with the parents. Mixed Experience at Jellystone Park in Tyler, TX - Won't Be Returning We visited Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Tyler over the 4th of July weekend, renting multiple cabins to celebrate with family. The water park was definitely the highlight -- our 2- and 4-year-old had an absolute blast. The main pool was also a hit with the kids. The fireworks show on the 4th was fantastic, and the overall list of amenities is impressive on paper. However, the rest of the experience didn't live up to expectations. Cabin Conditions: * The A/C worked well in the living room, but bedrooms didn't cool properly when doors were closed. * Every cabin we rented was noticeably dirty -- floors hadn't been swept and one even had old hot dogs left in the microwave. * A power outlet in one unit was missing a cover. When we reported it, we were told it wasn't a concern since it was behind a couch, and that no replacement was available. * Shower water pressure was barely a dribble. Booking & Check-in Issues: * Reservation originally showed 2 adults and 1 child -- we corrected this twice (via email and phone), but still arrived to find the wrong number listed and missing wristbands. * After addressing it at the office, an employee from the back (who hadn't been part of our conversation) loudly accused us of lying across the lobby. Extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Thankfully, the staff member at the front counter resolved the issue. Canteen Inconsistencies: * Friday's ice cream experience was a pleasant surprise: generous portions and great value. * Saturday was a different story -- disorganized line, over 30 minutes of waiting, and significantly smaller portions for the same order. Other Observations: * Some activities were fun, but it felt like we were being nickeled and dimed: expensive gem mining bags, having to pay for mini golf balls, and constant unexpected upcharges. In summary, while the water attractions were great for our young kids, poor customer service, cleanliness issues, and lack of consistency made this stay more stressful than relaxing. We've been camping a Jellystone Tyler since 2015. All of our previous stays have been great! This year - not so much. We stayed in one of the older cabins near the original pond and it is in serious need of repairs. Wood rotting on the exterior, floors and cabinets scratched and worn on the interior. Cabin was not clean. There was what appeared to be toothpaste on the mirror and faucet in the bathroom, used contact lenses and tissues in the bedroom and foot/paw prints all over the floors. The biggest issue for us was the way a staff member treated my son. We rented a golf cart for our stay. Each person old enough (18+) went into the office, showed their driver's license and a staff person put an orange wristband on their wrist showing we were eligible to drive the golf cart. One evening a staff person stopped my son while he was driving the cart and demanded to see his driver's license. My son showed him the wristband but that was not good enough. After several minutes the staff person finally let my son leave but demanded that he come to the office with his driver's license (again) to prove he was old enough to drive a golf cart. We went to the office as requested and didn't even get an apology. Instead they insinuated that my son could have lied about his age or "gotten a wristband from someone else". How is that possible when they put the wristbands on customers after reviewing their driver's license? Very disappointing that customers would be treated this way. We've always loved staying here because everyone was so friendly. After this experience, I doubt we will ever go back. read more

Jellystone in Tyler Texas is the place to be. FUN living is the life for me Camp grounds spreading out so far and wide. Keeping the fun coming, just give me that countryside with fishing. Tyler is where I'd rather stay I get the smell of hey hey rides I just adore the view from the ranger station view. The fun, the store, fresh air, splash time with the family. It's a jumping good time!! The staff is amazing!! Although most of our time was spent during non peak season they made sure our we had a good time. As an active-duty military family, we planned this trip as a rare and cherished reunion during my 34-year-old son's first summer leave in eight years, a precious opportunity after years of separation due to his frequent deployments. Having enjoyed a largely issue-free stay at your Ranger Retreat in Tyler in 2024, despite minor overgrown grass in the backyard, we trusted Jellystone Park to provide a welcoming and convenient location for our family, which includes my 80-year-old parents, my son, daughter-in-law, nephew, and grandchildren. Instead, our stay was marred by persistent maintenance failures, dangerous and unprofessional staff behavior, public humiliation, and harassment, robbing us of irreplaceable family time and leaving us deeply saddened. Until this matter is resolved with a formal apology and full compensation, we will not return to any Jellystone Park. Our troubles began upon check-in on June 30 at approximately 4:00 PM. We were greeted by a courteous and professional young lady named Emily, who handled our request to move our July 4 cabana rental from the Kiddie Waterpark side to the pool cabana, as our original reservation was adjusted to extend our stay. Emily provided our cabin key for Cabin #434, a golf cart key and number, a park map, and nine green wristbands. However, she inadvertently failed to provide or mention orange golf cart bands for myself and my active-duty son, despite having copies of our driver's licenses on file, which later led to a dangerous confrontation. Upon arriving at Cabin #434, we discovered significant maintenance issues. The bathroom door would not secure, requiring someone to hold it shut from the outside or the occupant to sit on the toilet and lean over the sink to keep it closed--a serious safety hazard for my 80-year-old parents. The toilet seat was loose, causing it to slide and posing a risk of falls, particularly for my elderly parents. I immediately called the front desk to report these issues. A maintenance worker responded promptly, determined the bathroom door needed a new knob, but stated he would not replace it to avoid interrupting our vacation. No repairs were made, forcing us to use public showers at the pool or near Big Bear Lodge for the entire seven-day stay, despite paying for a private cabin with its own facilities. That same evening, two elderly women and their five teenage daughters in the adjacent cabin approached us, explaining that their cabin had no working stove or air conditioning. Hungry from their travels, they asked to use our stove to cook frozen pizzas for the girls. When I turned on the oven, the fire alarm triggered without any smoke or fire, solely from the oven's heat. The alarm would not stop. We placed a large personal fan, brought for outdoor use, inside the cabin to blow air at the ceiling alarm, but it continued. We opened all windows and the front door, which finally silenced the alarm but allowed crickets, flies, and bees to flood the cabin. This issue recurred 3-4 times daily when using the oven or stovetop, each time requiring us to open all windows and doors and spend 45-60 minutes removing pests. This exhausting process consumed hours of our vacation, turning meal preparation into a distressing ordeal rather than a joyful family activity. On the morning of July 1, we reported the bathroom door, toilet seat, fire alarm, and two non-functional ceiling lights in the master bedroom to the front desk. A maintenance worker arrived but was sent to address an issue we did not report and could not find the problem. We reiterated our concerns, but he left without resolving them. Later that day, the same worker returned on a golf cart to replace the bedroom lights. While backing into our yard, he nearly ran over our dog, prompting my daughter-in-law, who was outside, to scream for him to stop. He stepped out and aggressively stared her down for over 30 seconds, making her feel unsafe and uncomfortable. When he knocked on the cabin door, I opened it and noticed him struggling with a ladder. I offered assistance, but he declined, explaining he was in severe pain from recent shoulder surgery and that English was not his first language, as he was a Cuban immigrant. Inside the master bedroom, he placed the ladder in a tight space, stood with one foot on the ladder and one on the nightstand, and changed the lights. While descending, he stepped onto the bed, lost his balance, and fell into the wall, striking his injured shoulder. This was our first trip to Jellystone Park and our daughter's first time tent camping. We were met with extremely rude, loud, explicit adults in the tent site next to us. Ashley, Gavin and Billy carried on graphic and explicit conversations at a loud volume, they listened to music that was not appropriate for children to hear. No one needs to know that you've made a career out of s** work. They were smoking weed and drinking alcohol at all hours of the night. The group decided to run a generator at 10pm, when we asked them to turn it off at 11pm, they were hesitant. At 2:30am we were woken up by lights and loud talking and music. When we asked them to please turn it off and reminded them of the quiet hours, Ashely was abrasive and started yelling and cussing at us. She kept telling us that she had family (Matty/Masey) that worked in the office... excusing her behavior. They started throwing food at our campsite to get a visiting racoon to come over to our area. In the morning, we went the front office as soon as they opened at 9am and spoke with Emily about upgrading up to a small cabin, we were happy to pay the difference so that we could offer our child a more positive and safe experience. We never received a call, as promised. Instead, I had to make my way back to the office around noon. There I spoke with Tom, who eventually told me the only cabin they had to offer was going to come at a significant cost for our ONE remaining night. They wouldn't move us to an RV site that had a large grassy area next to it, they wouldn't address the rowdy group, they didn't offer a refund or even a credit for a future stay. All the front office did was tell us we should have called security. My family ended up leaving the camp-resort after only one night. Outside of our tent neighbors, the pool and waterpark were nice. The fishing pond was large and clean and quiet. I just don't think that we'd be back to this location. There was so much the staff could have done to make the situation better, but they chose not to. read more

Love the park, but the response or lack there of from management made it a tough experience. We arrived and the cabin was great, but no WiFi 5 lights that didn't work (4 of the 5 being the loft), and a golf cart that had no headlights (stressful event for the wife driving back to the cabin after fireworks, unable to see). We inquired about the WiFi and they said there was a lightening strike that took it out and they were waiting on parts (sent a guy out to help with the TV and his response was "most people don't watch much tv here"). This is understandable, but when we went to the office to inquire, there was no offer to move to another cabin. We also feel like we should have been notified in advance of arrival. We paid full price and did not have full amenities. We enjoyed the park itself, but we paid full price for several amenities that were missing. Management isn't very warm here. Let me start by saying we all had a great time and it LOOKS like it will be much better in the future. It is still very much under construction... We stayed in the Boo Boo Bunkhouse which appears to be the biggest cabin they have. It was loaded with bunk beds a little overkill for the 10 of us but can totally see a large group or family feeling right at home. everything was fine until the second night, when everyone needed to take a shower. All the toilets, sinks and showers backed up and we ended up with standing water in all. The water went down after 2+ hours and I called the 24 maintenance. He answered and wanted to come take a look. Thankfully I rented a limo golf cart ($200 per day) cause I had to take everyone to the campsite restrooms before bed. The maintenance guy was there waiting when we got back and wanted to take a look. He did and said the earliest he could get someone out was in the morning. I said okay, what else could I say plus we were going to sleep anyways. The next morning no one came... the front didn't know anything about it. Another man that drove the tractor for the hay ride (no hay) said he heard we were having issues and was sorry. Besides not being able to use the water, or showers or bathrooms (8 ladies) the worst part was the HUGE dump trucks that were in and out all day everyday. If you went outside, you would immediately get greeted with a cloud of dust. Another family asked me if I knew the construction was happening (they didn't know) I said I did but didn't know it was going to be that bad. Let me start off by saying the park is awesome!! Don't let the 2 stars discourage you. However, don't stay in the "older" cabins. We had never been to the property before, so we had no idea what cabins were old vs. newer and we were a little blindsided. My wife arrived a few hours before I did and told me it smelt "old" in the cabin. Upon my arrival at 1AM 8/31, I walked in and knew immediately that it was a musky/mildew smell. The type of smell where you can tell that sucker just stays wet. The humidity sensor on my son's baby camera read 65+ all weekend, regardless of temp in that place. You can clearly see mildew growing HEAVILY inside the window unit in the loft area and the main unit for downstairs has a fan that never shuts off, which will only dump humidity into the space when the compressor isn't running. When we checked out today, 9/1, we told the front desk person of the issues in the cabin and that it needed SEVERE maintenance done to it, he replied "I know, it needs some work, it's one of our older cabins." First off, if you know it's in disrepair, why rent it out? For $700+ for 2 nights, I would expect a cabin that didn't have paper towels shoved in around the window unit to keep the outside air from coming in. Or a rotten baseboard near the shower, a toilet seat that was worn out, more cobwebs than my grandmothers attic and of course, the smell. It was a bit of a let down seeing the cabin in such rough shape. We wanted a quick getaway for our family after the unfortunate passing of our youngest, just to get the kids minds off of it and we definitely didn't feel the money was worth it for this trip. We spent well over $1,250 after cabin, food, fun and fuel. Will we return? Possibly so, the water park was a great time, although massively understaffed and nobody controlling how many or how often kids come barreling down the slide on top of each other. The activities on the site are enjoyable and the grounds are well taken care of...but that cabin? Nah, take that thing out of rotation. Having a facilities maintenance background, this would've never passed an inspection for a guest to stay in merely based off the smell. Beds are horribly hard, cabins are filthy (sons feet were black in just a few minutes) and I believe they leave it up the the people renting the cabins to clean it. I'm no small man but the toilets in this cabin was about the size of a coffee can to sit on and the shower has almost zero water pressure. The hot water was literally hot enough to peel your skin off, use caution....i wasn't prepared. Moral of the story, do not stay in cabin 132, if that's yours for a current stay, just sleep in your car. read more

Enjoying our stay during Memorial Day weekend! We are staying in an economy rv spot and I have to say I'm impressed. They are almost completely shaded with some space in between each site and they back up to the woods. When we come back (yes when!) I am going to try and get a platinum site because they look amazing! They have a gazebo thing in the back which is in the woods and twinkle lights etc already there. It's been so fun with our toddler. So many activities to keep her busy. We especially enjoyed the jumping pillow, water park, pool, and play ground. Such a nice and convenient campground for families. Everyone is very friendly! Tip- also buy a day pass for Tyler state park and spend a day hiking, renting paddle boats or kayaks, or just enjoy their beach. read more

This was a great place to camp. A few years back this was a destination to plan year round for, Now not so much. We rented the Diamond series RV site with full hookups, deck, firepit, outdoor lighting, concrete patio with grill, the whole shoot n shabang! We spent 3 nights with a bonus 4th night, night one lights didn't work. Our bad we checked in after dark. We were greeted by a friendly poisonous scorpion. Yes, Texas you do have poisonous scorpions if you have a bee allergy then yes you need an EpiPen. We let them know about the lights and scorpion they sprayed which meant we couldn't leave our rig for half an hour minimum. No problem better safe than sorry. Be aware not all Diamond series RV sites come with shade which when booking online they only show one pic showing all sites with shade. Grandkids came out rented a pricey golf cart was able to do laundry on site little pricey but everyone loves clean clothes! New machines that work great but do to spotty Wi-Fi our transactions went thru then were "refunded". Checked the statement no refunds. Day 2 the water to our site was shut off due to needed repairs no problem, except no one told us until after we were ready to shower. Just imagine 90 degrees with 86% humidity Our rig had no water, the shower and bathroom had no water but the showers a quarter mile away had water. We rented the golf cart but had turned it in prior to knowing we were out of water. Once upon a time you could wander into the main office grab snacks, gifts or whatever. Now it's in a new building that is only open in the peak season ok no big we came in mid Sept. still hot but hey, they let us in to look around in the new giftshop, but we decided $60 for a sweatshirt was a bit much especially when we just purchased a hoody at another Jellystone for $15. We toured around the new cabins going in which look out of place as they resemble condos instead of cabins. When we checked out we let the staff know we would like to speak to the manager or someone about the washer refund and knocking a few bucks off for the lack of water for the day they said sure no problem. The manager will be in tomorrow I will have him call you! Is this the best number to reach you at? We said yes of course! That was on Sept 28, 2023 it is now Oct. 19th, 2023 so I called again today before writing this review. They said, hey our manager is in a meeting I can take your number and have him call you back I said no thank you, I've already been waiting a month for a call back. So here I am! There was a time that this was a magical place. The staff took the time to know your name and tell you about all of the adventures your kids and grandkids could have! They had all of the bears for you to pose next to, over priced gift shop open, the maze in the middle of the woods open to explore, fishing, and ducks. The adult pool area with jacuzzi! The kids pool, splashpad and water park phenomenal! Basketball, mini golf, the huge jump pad, arts and crafts too many things to mention! Oh and all of the different playgrounds for the kids to exhaust themselves on. Now the only playground onsite is clear across the entire campground where the new condos are. With out a golf cart you've gotta drive. We only have the RV. No more adventures in the forest with a stick watching out for imaginary bears, snakes and trolls, hoping you don't get lost or separated from your group in the maze to get to the fishing pond or a playground. Clean showers just so they could roll in dirt and get dirty again. I remember the plans of putting canoes and boats on the pond I guess that's still yet to come We drove over 2000 miles to bring our grandkids back to this magical place and chose to leave before our 4th free night as we were pretty discouraged by all that we had encountered. In closing all I am asking is for a partial refund of the $84 a day we paid for no water and a refund for the additional charges we incurred for laundry when your machines malfunctioned. 10/20/2023 Hey guys! We got a response from the owner, he was super sweet and very apologetic and is planning on using my review as a learning experience for the staff to make everyone's experience better. He let us know of the upcoming changes coming to Jellystone which we are excited to see. He gave us the refund that we requested. We had a good time for a weekend out of the city. It is really sad to see how much they are chopping down to add as much as they can. It was a very busy weekend and everything was already so overcrowded you could hardly do anything unless you got there extremely early, I assume when all the extra cabins open you won't be able to hardly participate in activities anymore. It seems Texans don't care much about trees but people like me that do, come east just to be under the trees, I hope they replant and stop cutting. The concrete they put in around the pool made it almost unbearable with no shade at all. read more

The manager at this place is just a ass. We had some cabins and Rv sites reserved for a family reunion. We had 9 families staying. Most of check in Friday the rest were coming in later. After we had dinner most of us met up at one of the Rv sites to have a little drink and talk. There was probably 12 to 15 of us just talking. Around midnight another family came in so we had to take the golf cart to the gate and let them in. Well on the way back some dude (later found out was the manager). Came over and said we were driving the golfcart to fast. He never identified himself as the manager. He was talking to the driver a girl, while a few were listening. We said pl and he left. Then about 3 minutes later he came back and said we had to disperse because of noise. He said he felt intimated by one of the guys opening a beer and turning his head sideways.. Everyone dispersed and we figured it was over. The next day the manager seeked out one the guys there and told him we could leave and they would give us a full refund. Because he felt threatened. Then he went and talked to our dad and told him the same thing. Then the owner went to our dad and said the same thing. Our sister finally went and talked to the owner and had everything worked out. The manager , who is the owners step son. Which I'm sure part of marrying his mom was to keep this dude employed. Came over and said are we good? My sister said I was just talking to the owner about being out late and he said Oh no , you burnt that bridge yesterday. At 10 you need to disperse. Park rules just say no music and no outside TV. Also you have to pay for your linens if you rent a cabin. Appearantly they don't come with sheets or towels. We had a big cabin so it cost us 60 dollars. Also the last night we saw a roach crawling on the wall. Because of the manager we will never stay at a Jellystone park again. read more

We just spent three days at this park. There were six of us in one of the Grand Cabins (two children), and it was perfect! There were activities available all day Saturday for the grandsons, which were well-planned. The Halloween activities were appropriate for all ages of children, and were lots of fun! The staff members working with the grandsons had obviously been well-trained. They loved the bouncing pad. The swimming pools were already closed for winter, so we'll have to go back when it is warmer. We really enjoyed the park. It is lovely. It is clean. The staff is very friendly. This place in the beautiful East Texas Piney Woods is a wonderful destination for families and groups; a perfect resort for kids. The people who run the place are delightful, the amenities meet the expectations you'll find their excellent website. I stayed in one of their very nice cabins and have only two complaints, which can range from insignificant to major depending on what you want from an RV/Cabin resort: 1. The Wifi is weak to nonexistent. 2. TV access is limited to three or four local channels, no cable or satellite. Plus, the flat screen TV in my full size cabin was laughably small by KOA standards. If you don't care at all about electronic connections by all means, book this place. You'll be very happy here. But if you want or need WiFi and TV, I'm afraid you'll be very disappointed. It's a big, beautiful resort. Not inexpensive for your stay and clearly a big overhead operation for the owners. Why they don't invest in modern electronic luxuries is beyond me. read more

For the last three years my family and I have had the privilege of vacationing at Jellystone at Whispering Pines. With a family of 5 it's hard to find somewhere that offers activities that we can all enjoy but this location provides just that plus more! From ages 3 to 36 we all find things we enjoy like the jumping pillow, tie dye, fishing, movies. We always have the best time and look forward to each year back. This was our second time here and the first time exceeded our expectations, by far. This time around we were beyond disappointed. We returned for a birthday with the anticipation of making great memories as the first time. Well, we planned to arrive a little later than the office closed. I had to contact the "in park emergency line" to figure out if we needed to head back home. (They said they called although my phone carrier records show otherwise) anyways... we show up get our package and head to our cabin. Well we don't have a key for our cabin. It's cold outside and again I have to call the "emergency line" for something that is not an emergency to access our cabin that we paid for. The lady that unlocks our cabin was great, and basically said if you need to leave your belongings she would be there till 10pm and to leave our cabin unlocked since well...we didn't have a key until the office opened the next morning. Well we went to check in the next morning and Dakota just brushes it off, "sorry that was my bad I forgot the key" and continues checking is in and gets us a golf cart. Our cabin didn't have heat and the window shades would not close. It wasn't until we left early Saturday (after pushing and pushing to make the best of the birthday weekend due to the issues that continued to arise) we found a remote for the unit in our cabin to control the temperature. We checked out at 6:30-7 the day before check out and cleaned/dropped off everything in the drop box. As soon as the office opened the next morning I called to receive a partial refund for the negative experience and my child got sick from the miserably cold weather (both in our cabin and outside). I spoke to the manager Chad (who may need to be retrained on customer service). Basically answering the phone saying, "what you are saying is untrue" and after expressing my concerns "well the key situation is irrelevant at this point" and "I don't control the weather." He continued to try to say our family was out fishing the whole weekend which is interesting because I didn't fish or even go near their lake 1 time. My older son went fishing by himself for about an hour. I asked for the situation to be resolved and he said "do what you need to do and I will also call corporate and provide them with the receipts of our conversation" as he was the person who answered the emergency line. First off, the key isn't irrelevant- if I would have just left since we didn't have a key I would have received a refund, despite him arguing that I would not have because it's their "policy." I don't care what the policy is, you always do your best to resolve an issue, keep business and make the guest happy. I was not being ridiculous by this request. I continued to ask how it could be resolved and he said it's our policy. I said, could we potentially be rebooked for a different weekend then due to the overall poor experiences and he said NO! He was definitely not trying to work with me to resolve it. He was trying to defend Dakota and maintain the "it's our policy." Well I guess if Jellystones new policy is to ride the policy so hard to where the guest is still unhappy, issues are left unresolved, and losing business. The park itself had completed a ton of new upgrades which were nice until you're being nickel and dime for everything. Again, the last time we paid for our cabin, food, and a few rounds of laser tag. Now they charge for bingo cards, putt putt golf, and all the "planned" Jellystone activities. It would be great if the money I spent on an extra night went towards retraining to improve some customer service experiences. read more

Positives: geared to families with young children. Has bounce pillow, swimming pools including new water slide areas, putt putt, outdoor theatre and fishing pond. Variety of ways to stay including cabins, RV park and tent area. Negatives: staff not wearing masks in indoor spaces especially checkin lodge and not requiring masks from those entering (as required in state mandate); no social distancing at pools, eating spaces, character visits, playgrounds, etc.; if you're concerned about your safety during COVID-19 this place is not recommended (we only felt safest in our cabin) read more

We just left this wonderful place. I just want to say how happy we were there the days we stayed! We were greeted by Mr. Ed, the nicest guy ever He was very helpful in everything we needed and made us feel very welcome! He was very attentive and has such a great personality! I had many questions he was always happy to help! My kids felt so comfortable around him and knew that if they needed anything they could ask him and he would take care of it. Even the people at the front office were prompt to help! Of course the campsite has rules like any other campsite and as long as you abide by the rules you should be fine. I have no complains about this place at all. My kids had so much fun there!! I would highly come back in the future and I highly recommend this place!! read more

My husband and I went to our daughter and family's camp site for hot dogs and we were charged $5 a person to get in. We did not use any of YBJ's facilities. We just ate at the picnic table that was included with the campsite rent! We will not go back. read more

Sadly we were only able to stay the one night but WE WILL BE BACK!!! Great place if you have younger children with you, lots of daily activities. The restrooms and shower area are great and VERY CLEAN AND MAINTAINED! Can't wait to come back and stay longer! read more

This is our sixth Jellystone and definitely one of the best so far. The park is loaded with huge beautiful-pine trees and oaks. Plenty of shade and you are and feel like wilderness. If you have small kids I would take a back in space in front if available. They are huge spaces and great location for kids. They have all the amenities you would expect at a Jellystone and the staff is friendly. read more

Two words. MILITARY CAMP. These people are so insanely strict, it's almost impossible to have a good time here. It's supposed to be family friendly but unless you have a child 6 and under, it isn't for you. Quiet time is 10 pm and if you sit at your picnic table having a normal conversation after, they will get onto you. They'll find any reason to try to kick you out (including writing an honest review). The owner/s sit on a high horse and want to scold you for any little thing like you're in elementary school. This is our second visit to a camp jellystone and unfortunately both have been bad experiences. We won't ever visit one again. read more

Absolutely the poorest run place I've ever camped at. The 1st day they closed the splash pad 2 hours early because they claim their employees all walked off the job. They aren't consistent on what dusk is. They closed the only open pool whenever they felt like it. 1 day it's 8pm one day it's 845pm. 1 unpleasant worker said "it's whenever I feel like it". They've since updated their info online because several groups had complained about this. Some days things like pickleball and basketball were locked up at 715pm. Workers claim they don't know how that happened but they control the locks. The golf course is covered in leaves and limbs. We unfortunately stayed 6 days and we saw nothing being cleaned or picked up the entire time. So I have my doubts the outdoor activities have been cleaned up in months. The shuffleboard features broken equipment and covered in sand, limbs, and leaves. The entire "resort" is one HUGE dirt pit so you should learn to enjoy eating dirt while here. We asked about the actual activities that were available like the mining and the hours and when we walked back to the area it was closed and no employee around. There is trash everywhere. Not like piled up but you will indeed find a can or a bottle or something every 10 feet. Also I counted 6 stray cats while there. Not sure on how many there actually are. 1 day every time I opened the RV door a stray tried to get in. A stray male cat urinated on our grill cover and our outdoor carpet at our door. While at the jump pillow one 1 occasion, because it's truly the only thing open most of the time close to hours stated, the orange cat sitting 1 foot from the pillow scratched 2 of my 3 kids on their arms. While strolling along the potentially pleasant walkway around the pond I noticed that several of their live street lamps had missing covers where the wires are. So watch your curious littles and don't allow them to reach into what should be covered and potentially be electrocuted by this overlooked safety concern. I'm sure they'll say it's part of their renovations and that what I saw was the white strings they had coming into the new light boxes but I know what I saw. When visiting with another couple with kids we both came to realize that the information posted online when we booked our stay said that all of the "activities" would be in operation the entire week we stayed there. They've since changed that information online. Thank goodness this place is well located because we spent much of our time at this "resort" outside of it's walls doing actual fun things. I'm not sure who owns and who operates this poor excuse of an RV "resort" but both should be replaced. read more

There are so manny issues with this place. Customer service is horrible. They charged a day entrance when we came a few hours early and was not let into our cabin till 3. Even though we had a large group with campers that were already here. The camp sites leave much to be desired. The sewer pipes are not put to code. They are not screw on type like 99% of the campgrounds. The smell of garbage is too hard to handle. read more

This Jellystone park, has a lot to do for the kids. 2 pools a hot tub and much more. On the other hand, the sites are very small, all gravel. The bathroom need updating. My boy refuses to use the bathrooms. I will not be returning. read more
