Baci and the big lake :)

We love this green belt!! It's small/ smaller size hike and walk. But you are next to a pond full of fish! Blue berries, flowers! Birds. Dirt. Plants. Baci loves it. We have to loop around 6-8 times to get our normal steps in but it's always fun to stop by. All the sounds and smells for my pupper. And they have you pick blue berries when in season. Free parking lot outside. It's a cute and fun little stop.

Walking along these well-maintained trails and pathways one can easily forget the crazy pace of daily life for an hour or two. Nicely separated from street traffic, this is a nice area to visit with kids and pets. During the summer months I always stop at the little red market for a crunchy apple or some veggies for dinner. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back! Easy parking at the Ranger Station (15416 SE 16th St) where you can also stroll through demonstration gardens and chat with Master Gardeners. Check the website for scheduled times and events.

When I drove through here, I was intrigued about the farm and lakes that you can see. I took a look on the map and deciden to take this urban hike! I made a stop first in the farm to pick some berries from their many, many trees. It gets easy with practice. Bring a hat because summer sun gets very warm. Then, I went along the trail and visit the Phantom Lake. You can keep going all around the marked trail. You can walk a little bit through the neighborhood to connect with another part of the trail. A bit weird but worked for us. You'll eventually get into a neighborhood little park where you can walk around and find some little cute spots. It is like a closed area :) Have an awesome day through the Larson Lake :D!!! BTW, keep walking just a bit more and you will find another little farm in the middle of the other houses. Follow your phone maps because nothing is marked :S Get back to the trail that takes you to the back part of the farm/cabin where they charge you per pound -for the berry picking-. So if you feel, you can keep hiking. Just cross the street and continue through the Lake to Lake Trail!! I think it goes all the way to Factoria.

Ever drive from I-90 to 520 in Bellevue? If you have, you likely have passed through the Lake Hills Greenbelt. It is 150 acres of natural beauty that is neighbored by housing developments in what once was a rural community. I am so glad that I live in this neighborhood. While I am no fan of the country life, I like that the Greenbelt is just a short walk down the street from me. The Greenbelt is part of the Lake to Lake Trail from Lake Washington to Lake Sammamish. I tend to frequent the part between 148th and 156th Ave, but it stretches further than that boundary. There are numerous entrances into the Greenbelt. Several side streets have entrances to the park. The paths here are filled with gravel making it easy to maneuver through the trail. It is well maintained and there are pooper bags if you are walking your dogs here. The Greenbelt features Larsen Lake which is calming centered in the middle of it all. While huge evergreen trees tower to the right of the lake. But what draws people to the Greenbelt primarily is the Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm. Here you can pick your own blueberries in the summer. It is probably not worth venturing for those not on the Eastside. But for those who live in the neighborhood, the Greenbelt is a treasure. While there may be constant development elsewhere in Bellevue, it is nice to know that there is a place here that never changes.

Nice place for walks. The trails are family friendly and very well maintenance. Very convenience location.

Great trail for biking or walking (dogs) or jogging. Part of the extensive Bellevue trail system. Really a great area for trails and parks and quiet spaces outdoors. Probably hella creepy at night though!

We went from the trail at Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm and followed the greenbelt for five miles.

The playground was well-suited for a range of ages, with swings, a see-saw, and even a small climbing wall to keep them entertained. There was plenty of open grass for families to lay out picnic blankets, and a covered area that was bustling with what looked like a birthday party or community event. The park also has solid amenities like tennis courts, a volleyball area, and a basketball court for older kids and adults. I especially enjoyed the shaded walking paths, which offered a nice break from the sun. The one downside was the bathroom. It was in poor condition and definitely could use some upkeep. Parking was available but packed due to the nice weather, so we had to park a short walk away. JY review.
