We have used Scott and his crew for a few sub-contract roofing projects in our projects when my crews were to busy during the Summer months to get projects closed in. I talked with Scott about having some bids done on a couple of properties. The first call seemed promising but there was no follow-up from him. I called again and left a message. A week went by and still no response. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I called again and got him on the line. He said he was busy and he would get back to me on a time to come out to the properties. Two more days and no return call. Needless to say I still haven't heard from him. Nice guy with good intentions, but does not have the experience or manpower to provide services expected of a general contractor.

Working with the owner of this company started out promising. He came at the time agreed upon to give us a bid on a garage entry door and two small basement windows. His price was in line with other estimates we received in our area. The problems started when we tried to schedule the work. He initially (in early July) said that it would likely begin in mid August. Mid August arrived and after receiving no notice from him, I first called and left a message but then receiving no return call, I emailed him. He then answered that he was busy and that work would begin in about two weeks. When two weeks came and went I called and told him that we needed to have it done sometime during the next week as we were getting new carpeting shortly thereafter. He said he would get back to us. He never did. I then called the following Wednesday and he said someone would do our project that Friday starting at 9am. My wife and I moved furniture the night before and put up plastic sheets so that dust from the work would not spread over the rest of the basement. By 9:45am on Friday there was still no one at our house. I tried calling him but his message box was full. I then texted him and got a return text saying that his workers were finishing another job and would not be working on ours that day. He said the confusion came because he did not give the workers my phone number. He made no apology for not letting us know. He only apologized after I said how upset we were and that we would publicize his disorganization. I have no idea what type of work this company does. I only know that their owner is disorganized and lacks people skills. I could never recommend such a person. read more
