We arrived a little early to wander around before the 2pm guided tour, and I'm so glad we did -- it gave us extra time to soak everything in. The guided tour itself was phenomenal. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answering every question thrown at them with enthusiasm, and they were so warm and great with the kids in our group. You could tell they are truly passionate about what they do, and it made the whole experience that much more memorable. My son about 5 minutes into the tour said he wanted to work there when he grew up. Don't sleep on the gift shop either! For a smaller store, it was seriously impressive -- packed with Wild Republic plushies in every variety, alligator trinkets, shirts, and so much more. Let's just say we didn't leave empty-handed! What also makes this place extra special is the heart behind it. Owner/Operator Chris is deeply involved in the local community, regularly donating to schools and welcoming student field trips. It's rare to find a business that gives back the way they do, and it makes supporting them even easier. A MUST VISIT if you are even within 90 minutes of the facility. 10/10. 5 stars. BIG RECOMMEND.

We saw a lot of crocs and gators which was awesome. We started out with Reagan as our tour guide and then got Mason. Both girls were great! My daughter also loved the baby goats they had that we stopped and saw after. I would say our only complaint was they did not feed the gators very much on their end to show us and they mentioned that they had had a busy day with field trips and were low on chicken. I feel like that could have been better planned so that we got the full experience regardless if there were other tours. Otherwise highly recommend to do the VIP tour vs self guided because the animals definitely know the keepers and are way more active than if you walk around by yourself.

The gentleman shared a local glazed donut with me (which was awesome) told me a little about the course and we were off! The course was in great shape, the greens too! What a beautiful day and a beautiful round. Pace of play was ever a problem, beverage snack crew came around plenty of times and they were very accommodating. Weeks later we are still talking about it and looking for an excuse to drive back! It was a semblance of the Wild West and, we liked it that way! Nowadays, I believed it's been annexed by the Port of Freeport. Bryan Beach is a lot of different things. It's possibly the ugliest beach in the world. Definitely, the ugliest in Texas. At the same time, it can reveal great beauty (mostly when the lights are off). It's a quickly eroding coastline, barely able to drive on or pitch a tent on. Fishing is great. Of course, you might want to catch and release as the river mouth passes a terrifying amount of pesticides, fertilizers, and God knows what else. Rip currents and an abundance of sharks make swimming dangerous. There's also sometimes dangerous people there. It's really a blank canvas. You can make it whatever you want. I've had incredible beach parties there in the past. Huge bonfires, cooking up dinner, camping out, insane amounts of alcohol.... With the right group, you can have the time of your life there. Maybe it's a weird portal to another dimension. Who knows? Bryan Beach is what you make it.

There is all the equipment I could ask for plus more. Also this gym is open 24/7 which is great because my work schedule is inconsistent. Another review mentioned the music being loud. I think it's an appropriate volume for a gym because you don't have to hear others and I don't have to worry about people hearing me when I'm out of breath. When I put my headphones on I can't hear it. Not that I need it, but I did notice there is an area for kids.

While the equipment and facility have the potential to make this an exceptional gym, there are a few items that make it an unsatisfactory experience. First, the showers are rarely cleaned and it shows. there are usually bugs, dirt, hair clumps that may remain for days before they are removed. On several occasions muddy boots have soiled the floor and it was days before the clumps were cleaned. Another negative issue is the blaring piped in music. During the day and evening, loud music may be necessary or desired to enhance moods or attitudes, but at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning, most of the gym's users are annoyed by the music turned all the way up. As I write this, I can not hear my airpods well because the house music is so loud. Iy is 6:30. the people who work out this early are: a retired pastor, two teachers, a pair of mothers, a retired couple. These are not people who need grunge music played at 100 to accomplish their exercise goals. I have asked the owner repeatedly to consider lowering the volume, but he refuses to considers his patrons.

There are two outdoor basketball courts here, a decent playground, a backstop for kickball, two softball fields, and lots of empty field space. This park gets somewhat busy during Little League games, and there is a concession stand operating at these times. There are lots of well-lit areas at night. There are a few places to sit down, but you may not want to stay for too long, because the mosquitoes are pretty aggressive here.
