The balconies are gorgeous--the higher floor this time has a better view above the palm trees. Both times we've been here have been in January, so we haven't been able to use the outdoor pools or the lazy river. The indoor pool is large! There's a great game room, a movie theater, and a gym on the property. Everything is access-controlled, so you feel safe. Getting to the beach is about a 5-minute walk. This is a beautiful place! We booked through Ryson Vacation Rentals both times. Great communication, easy check-in and check-out process.

The sand is a little rocky and rigid. A seashell broke off in my foot which hurt. They have food that is delivered to you with a $10 min. We will just be getting drinks from now on. The food was not good and below concession stand type. But they have bag chips and lots of drinks! Which our son liked. Plenty of parking, but once again it's not officially summer yet. We will go back!

All along the walls are large black chairs for parents to sit and watch their kids. I'm not gonna lie. This place is a lot and I wouldn't recommend this place to parents/ guardians younger than 4-5 y/o. It's hard for adults to see their kids unless they are in the "playground" with them. Which can be tight and awkward. All in all it's okay.

I watched a mother trying to aid her child who had just had an accident. (peed at the front steps of the first play area) This mother asked not one, but THREE staff members for either napkins or some sort of wipe to clean her child and the play area up. Why did the staff find it appropriate to stand behind the front desk giggling in this mother's face about her child peeing? Not only did they not help this mother get any form of paper towels, but they felt the need to also gossip about this to the other staff members that passed by... the only person I saw actually attempt to clean the area in a timely manner was a young man in a blue and red flannel. Luckily I had some baby wipes on me and was able to give these to the mother to clean her child up. I am severely disappointed with today's staff and I hope the manger at minimum speaks with them about their unacceptable and unprofessional behavior.

Island Little Leagues new home field!! It's really nice out here except for the concrete seats, lol…read morethey're very uncomfortable. Bring back the bleachers haha! There's three baseball fields, concession stand, restrooms(finally more than one stall but we need soap in the soap dispensers), nice playground. Great area to do walking/jogging. Way to go, Galveston!
