Complete bull shit. I went into the store and they didn't have packs of a drink i was looking for sio i got 4 and a 2 bottles of vodka. I dropped one, nothing spilled but they said they wouldn't sell to me because I dropped a plastic bottle.. I have spent a lot of money in this store but will not spend another dime. If I could give negative stars I would! I have never experienced this situation ever in my life! My family & I went there on Friday. My sister n law was holding a bottle for her brother because she wasn't buying anything because she realized she forgot her wallet at home. We're all at the register the cashier asks everyone for their ID. She informed her she didn't have hers. She then refused the entire sale. The girl on the next register proceeded to grab all of the bottles. We then asked why can't they purchase the other bottles minus the 1 bottle she had in her hand they said because any of the other bottles could be hers and we said none of them were hers she was just holding it. The cashier said no and she needed to come back with her ID we said ok mind you she had been tasting wine and no one carded her. It took us 10 minutes to go and come back. They watched us come back in. My sister even asked the girl that grabbed the bottles did she put them back she laughed and said yea so my sister mocked her because she did it as if that was satisfying to her. Again the 2 cashiers and the manager Misty watched us taste more alcohol and grab the bottles again. We get to the counter and Misty stated she was refusing service and we're like why she then said because she just was no explanation just because she was. & then asked why didn't you go get your id when she asked we said we did which is why we're back!! She was like oh well put the bottles down and told us Bye like we were children. We came back a 3rd time with my father n law because he wanted to know her reason she said because it's the LAW that if we refuse service you can't come back within 24 hours & we're like that's not true my father n law said so it's the law? and she firmly said YES!! My sister n law is a paralegal that knows the law ‍ little did she know., we asked her a few more questions and she (Misty) said she wasn't going to argue with us. I proceeded to say Why is it that when someone is asking questions to get clarification you say we're arguing it's not an argument but a question. & she dismissed us yet again and said I'm standing behind my cashiers. We say ok so what did they say. She threw her hands up and dismissed us. So my father n law called the police because what you're not gonna do is lie to us like we're dumb. The cops get there in under 10. We're explaining the situation to them & their like yea no that's not a law. She can refuse service but it's not a law. We say we understand that if she would've just said that but she didn't. We go in the store with the cops and they're asking her what happen and we asked her about the 24 hour law she said it's their policy so we're like now it's a policy but not the law like make sure you know the difference next time. I ask to see the policy since it is 1 of course she didn't produce it. She's telling her side and it still doesn't make since.. I say why is it y'all policy that we gotta wait 24 hours and your employee told us to go get the id oh well I didn't know she told y'all that! Yes Misty yes you did!! If you didn't know why would you ask us why didn't we go get our id when she asked. Make that make sense!! Thats sounds like a person that knew but ok. She then proceeded to say this y'all doing a bit much. No Misty we're not.. it's ppl like you that try to lie to ppl and be rude to them for no reason because you have employees that don't have basic customer service skills & neither do you! I'm sure the owner wouldn't like how you disrespect your guests the way you do. Based on the other reviews you seem to be a huge problem!! Oh she also said it's not her problem that the vendors are giving out alcoholic samples without seeing ID. Good thing my sister n law was over the age of 21!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. MISTI The "manager" has the WORST customer service. I personally have worked in the customer industry for years. As a manager myself. Never have I experience such blantant disregard for human decency. I will absolutely not be going again. My Fiance went to grab us a pack of beer, mind you. We are 26 and have been shopping at this location for 3 years now. Never had an issue. They got new scanners and the cashier was nice. The manager was incredibly rude. The worst attitude ive experienced shopping ever!! when i came in with a perfectly fine ID. She kicked me out. And i tried to ask what the issue was and after interrupting and being blantanly disrespectful she left me in tears. Horrible person to have absolutely no respect for being kind. Especially with the holidays coming. It doesn't cost a penny to just be nice. read more

Rudest Liquor Store I have ever seen in my 75 years on earth. Two Ladies at the last Register...one helped me find my brand...the other who checked me out was not polite. I placed my 4 items on the table and saw a sign that said "Military discount at start of transaction with ID"...so I pulled out my Retired Vet ID card and she says "next time show your ID before the transaction" which I thought I was doing...then as I'm putting my ID card back into my billfold she says "$21.60" twice, like I'm slow or something,..then "debit or credit"?...I say "Cash"....she bags the items in a bag hands it to me with a look of disgust.....no Thank You for your business, no Thank you for your Service, no respect for age,....absolutely nothing.... Let me start this by saying I've been going to Lake Liquor since I was in College in 1988. I've probably bought at least a 30 pack a week for the last 33 years as well as a lot of liquor as well as supplies for an organization that I belong to (over $800 last November for an event). Saturday, Jan 15, my wife stopped by there along with my daughter to buy four 1/2 gallons of Vodka. When they approached the counter, my daughter (she is only 20) grabbed one of the bottles to hand to my wife. The older lady behind the counter said "i'll have to card both of you now". My wife told her that she was only 20. The lady told my wife she couldn't purchase. My wife asked if they could leave, and then only her come back in and go back and get 4 new bottles and she was told "you can go to Oscars". We will NEVER be back and I'll make sure everyone knows why. read more

Rude manager on duty. My friend tried to create a "mix your own six pack". He was told one beer was not really a "mix your own". He swapped it out and then the employee harassed him for changing the stickers on what beers were actually to be used for the mixed packs. He found a second beer of one he attempted to purchase, took it to the employee to say, "hey, here's another mislabeled one" and the employee proceeded to accuse him of changing the stickers. When my friend called to complain about the employee, he found out the employee was the "manager on duty" this employee proceeded to continue to accuse my friend of changing labels. Maybe they should move the "mix your own six pack" to the front of the store if you are going to accuse honest customers of being dishonest. read more

This liquor store is in a good location, near the interstate 40 exit 142, it is close to the Faulkner county line. It has one of the widest ranges of liquor in the Central Arkansas area. Their prices are fair and allows for debit (Some do not). You can get special orders from this place as well. read more

This place has a fantastic selection of craft beers and the staff to help pick them out. Was on the way home and found the place via a quick phone search. Very easy to get to; convenient location; didn't expect such an extensive inventory as well. Perhaps bordering on a dry county helps :-) read more
