Very nice distillery in Little Rock that makes their spirits and flavored spirits without cutting corners and using ingredients that were not created in a lab. All flavored beverages are made with the actual food: ginger, basil, cacao, you name it. We sampled several items and had a hard time deciding. We ordered a couple drinks and left with a few bottles of our favorites. The bartenders were really helpful and sincerely nice and really cared about their jobs. There is a Photo Booth, lots of tables, bar seating, a retail section where you can pick out your own alcohol and merchandise and have it added to your bar tab. They have a rice based bourbon that our bartender said is a special edition release during the holidays that it would be fun to try to visit and purchase some of. I visited Rock Town Distillery while on a quick weekend trip back in September (2025). I purchased a ticket online for the guided tour. I was surprised to see that they offered tours on Saturday nights. I made sure to have dinner beforehand and I'm happy that I did. I took an Uber from my hotel, but they do have a small parking lot out front. There is a maximum of 18 people for the tour. Our tour guide (spirit guide) was Abi. She was so knowledgeable and funny. She made the tour very interesting and was able to answer everyone's questions. I really enjoyed learning about the science of distilling. We got to see the barrels, bottling room, and the still house where the giant copper still and fermentation tanks are located. The tour ended in the private tasting room where we sampled an array of whiskeys, vodkas, and liqueurs. I am not a whiskey drinker, but when in Rome...lol. They had spittoons on each table that we were able to pour unwanted liquor into. We were also given small bottles of water. We were supposed to try 8 samples, but there was an extra one on the table so we ended up sampling 9. I enjoyed the flavored vodkas (salted vanilla and blueberry) as well as the liqueurs (creme de cacao, butterscotch, and coffee - which was my absolute favorite)! We were able to keep the shot glass as a souvenir. I didn't have any cash to tip Abi, but I was able to tip via Venmo. Additionally, we were offered a 15% discount on merchandise. After the tour, I sat at the bar and had a cocktail. Cole was the bartender working and he was super friendly. I had a cocktail called You've Got Mail and it was very refreshing! I was chatting with some people next to me about Negronis when Cole asked me if I had ever tried a Boulevardier (I hadn't). He explained to me that it's a Negroni made with whiskey instead of gin. He ended up making me a sample Boulevardier with the coffee liqueur. Wow, it was so good!! If you like coffee, try the coffee Boulevardier and thank me later. I had a great time at Rock Town. If I were a local, I would be a regular. If I'm ever in Little Rock again, I will definitely be making a stop at Rock Town! read more

Came in in a recommendation from a coworker, and happy I did. Tried the single barrel flight. Had 7 options to choose from. I let the bartender pick for me. All were very good. Tried a couple of the peated whiskeys and was even more impressed. Left with a bottle of peated single malt I found the tastiest. Also bought a couple of sweatshirts from them, as United choose to separate me from my bags and all my warm cloths were in Chicago. They are dog friendly, but no kitchen. Just some snacks. Such a great vibe. Had a blast. $7 martini Thursday made it even better. I asked for an extra dirty martini and that is what I got. Alot of places don't understand. The espresso martini was so smooth. The dip trio was good. They were out of pita chips so we got kettle chips but they went well with the dips. Pimento cheese was my favorite. Plenty of seating. The bourbon cream was my favorite. Too bad they didn't have any for sale. Only downside was they were cutting ice cubes and crushing ice. It was so loud we couldn't talk to one another. read more

This is a review of the distillery tour! Highly recommend this tour if you are around town. You will need to order tickets online (you can't avoid the processing fees). With the tour, you will explore the distillery (storage, production, packaging) and learn about bourbon and whiskey. I'm not a whiskey fan, but it was great learning about everything. Next is my favorite part: the tasting! Again, I'm not a big whiskey guy, but the Rock Town alcohol was very good. The pours were large and it was super fun with the group. You don't need to drink everything, but I do recommend trying everything. You get to keep the souvenir shot glass at the end for your memories of your tasting. read more

Rock Town Distillery has become one of my top 10 places of all time. Everything is excellent about this place. The bar tenders are true mixologists, the atmosphere is electric but relaxing, and there is personality in every corner. We have family in the area and Rock Town Distillery is a guaranteed stop at least once per trip. We have such a great time sitting at the bar or at a table relaxing and enjoying our drinks (my personal favorite is always an Old Fashioned) and when its not too crazy busy we really enjoy talking to the bartenders seeing if they'd be willing to make us something custom. Every drink we've ever had there has been excellent, and like I said, its such a great place to relax and enjoy yourself for a little while. Rock Town is a MUST stop if you're in the area. read more

Rock Town Distillery is always an enjoyable place to visit for a drink! They have their themed menu and usually a drink of the week that's usually a good deal. Their bartenders are usually very friendly. We often interact with Cole. He is kind, efficient, and we have never had a problem with him. It is a more laid back atmosphere with games available for you to play. They do not have food but sometimes have a food truck out front or are agreeable to you bringing in outside food. We came here looking for a nice bourbon cocktail, and they sure did have plenty of them on the menu. I ordered an old fashioned and got a little sample of just the plain bourbon itself. I wasn't wild about the bourbon, but it seemed like something fine to throw in a cocktail. The Old Fashioned was fine, but I've definitely had better during my visit to Arkansas. It got a little watered down by the ice cube as I sipped, but it was still an OK drink. I got a second drink - something with gin, thyme, and lemon. It was a nice combination of flavors, but a little bit on the sweet/tart side for me. Very nice presentation, though, and while I couldn't have multiple, I was happy to drink my one cocktail. The staff was really nice and attentive, and I really liked the ambience of the place. They had plenty of classic board games to play, so of course we had to go back in time and play some competitive chutes and ladders. Stars were largely for the ambience, and I would definitely come back here as a place to gather and hang out, I'm just not really a huge fan of the drinks. I can't say enough good things about this place. All of the staff we talked with were quite stellar, and they make some really excellent products. We were mostly focused on the whiskey, which is great, whether you're looking for a rare peated American single malt (unremarkable but interesting), an unpeated single barley malt (like American Scotch-- quite good and I say this as a scotch aficionado), or some regular old bourbon, which comes in a bunch of varieties, most of which are quite good (the ones that aren't "quite good" I would just say are nothing to write home about, but not bad). There's a cocktail list to suit all tastes and the staff seem to know what they're doing in this department. Full retail setup and it's easy to find whatever liquor you want ranging from flavored vodka to limited-run whiskeys. Wasn't head over heels in love with all of the brand swag (give me some more artsy t-shirts and stickers, not just something with your company's name on it!), but we did pick up a couple of bottles. They were also setting up for a drink making class at the bar which looked fun! There are tons of games to play as well off to the side. We played the "Stuff Happens", it was really fun. My one issue would be the rude bartender who was irritated we ordered where the class was set up. I wasn't aware it was for a class, nor are there signs telling you where to order... Sadly, many have not resumed tours since COVID so I was excited to see this one doing scheduled tours while passing thru Little Rock en route to TX. Came here last night and did the tour. Our tour guide, Christian, was very friendly and knowledgeable about whiskey. His passion for the trade made this a fun tour and very informative. For the first time, despite being to other distillery tours in the past, I actually learned what moonshine and sour mash really is and how to tell the difference in taste between Rye and Wheat whiskey. The tasting was nice and gave me a chance to try a new local distillery. It was fun and nice way to get out of the hotel! read more

Since I feel it's very informative to give reviews during Covid, I want to say this place is awesome! You can book a tour on the website in advance which is important because they can only accommodate 12 per tour. We are from Louisiana and what are the odds that people from our hometown were also on the tour with us! The tastings are plentiful, and getting a take home taster glass with this is a great deal for $15. I really enjoyed their coffee liquor (made with vodka). All of the their varietals are available to purchase after the tour. They also have a full bar with many craft cocktails to purchase as well. I enjoyed the basil Moscow mule!
