Fun for the whole family! Four of us went last year and had a great time! Had no idea I was so bad at mini-golf, LOL

We went to play mini golf for Memorial Day. The owner is very nice. Multiple different sizes of clubs for height for all ages. Various colors of balls to choose from to mark your player. Score book and pencil given before you start for your game. 3 and under are free. Drinks and slushies sold at entrance. The first hole is a practice hole. 18 holes to go after that. We had such a fun time! I would say some are a little challenging. None of us made a hole in one until the end. Rock wall climbing is only $3. I did not throw any axes but that looked like it could be exhilarating too. I did inquire about birthdays and they said there are different packages that range for each number of invites of children who want to golf. All in all everything sounded very affordable and accommodating, even for big families. There is a small playground also to the side with a slide for younger children. read more

Family favorite! Just off of Hwy 21 between Huntersville and Cornelius is this little gem. My kids love playing the course and it is in great shape. They have some other fun things to do like a climbing tower, kids playground, and snow cones for all. Prices are pretty cheap in my opinion. read more

We've been going here for like 14 years and it's just as fun each time! The only negative is that they have serious tree/bush/brush overgrowth all throughout the playing area. I sort of get the vibe they are going for, but they should probably make more of an effort to trim. Mosquitos, wasps, etc. are all over. read more

Sad to say recent experiences don't align with descriptions. We arrived for a weekend time to play mini golf with family and there wasn't any warning about issues from rain (one hole fully under 1+ inch of standing water). However the larger issue is the significant wasp problem. Not only do they swarm around concession area (saw 10+ and in bathroom), but prevalent throughout course. Very obvious neglect for pest control. Despite best efforts to avoid, a member of our group was stung. Extensive overgrowth of bamboo contributes to additional bug problem. Would skip until cooler weather or they find the wasp nest. read more

I'm definitely not a golfer but this mini golf is really fun and beautifully landscaped. I like to come here because the price is right, getting started is quick and easy with little kids, and the holes are really creative without being too difficult or too easy. They have snowcones, ice cream, and other fun activities like axe throwing and laser tag. It's a great outing for any age! My favorite hole is the cave waterfall! You'll know it when you get to it ;) there are drink holders at each hole, plenty of places to sit and rest if you are waiting for the group in front of you to finish up, and misting fans during super hot days. *Protip: haunted mini golf during the Halloween season is when this place is at its best! I won't give away any of their spooky secrets but it's my favorite time of year to come to LKN mini golf. *Protip 2: check Groupon before coming because you can typically find a great deal for this business. read more

We love this mini golf place. They do many daily specials which is great. We paid $8 per adult and $6.50 per child. When we first started it was jammed. You couldn't even wait between the two holes because so many people were waiting, but it quickly cleared up and moved great. The theming is great. The course is well taken care of. The holes were challenging and fun. We loved it! I recommend it to anyone who loves to mini golf or wants to try it. They also have sno cones and laser tag. They have axe throwing and a climbing wall. They do package specials too. They have a date night special that's great for a first date. read more

The miniature golf was so much fun but the ice cream is divine. I got the Charleston sea salt and it just took me to a happy place I have never known with ice cream. Back to mini golf. This place caters to all age groups. Offers beer, slushees, and as previously mentioned, ice cream. Bring bug spray and plan to have a good time. We checked this place out with the family when we were visiting the area. They have a nice cute putting area, laser tag and a climbing wall. Our friends and kids did it all. They really the laser tag the most and enjoyed running back and forth dodging the lasers while trying to beat their best times. Everything was reasonably priced especially when you buy in bulk. For example purchase multiple laser tag games versus one at a time for a discount. Our friends even found a Groupon deal for the putting golf. They also have a small snack shop which serves refreshments, ice cream and other munchies. One complaint is that there are tons of mosquitoes around the picnic table area near the laser tag. Some of us including myself got bit by the bugs. Please spray or something so your patrons will not leave itching. If your in the area and traveling with kids, give them a try. They have a friendly staff and lots to do. read more

LKN Mini Golf is a little hidden gem. I love mini golf and have passed this location many times. A quick date night brought us there for a round. I really enjoyed the course. It was simplistic in construction but it was still challenging. WE stuck with mini golf but there are alot of other things to do while you are there. Finally got here when parking wasn't halfway out to Statesville Road. Kinda warm but a light breeze and some misterizers made for a nice evening out of doors. Interesting location between car lots and related businesses, backs up against I-77 with enough trees and berm to keep the traffic noise to a minimum. The course itself is fun to play with elevation changes, ramps, slopes, pipes, simulated boulders, and water which isn't always hazardous. There's also a practice green on the way to the 1st hole if you're so inclined. Hole boundaries are tumbled pavers so you won't get a "true" bounce or roll but hey it's mini-golf, not the stinking tour. Unlike the mini-golfs of my youth this place offers craft beers by the cup and has holders at most tee boxes and a few holes. Yea beer! read more

Little bit of a drive, but so worth it for this tucked away course. Benches with fans at almost every hole and cupholders too for your drinks! You can't take snow cones onto the course, but you can take your beer or cider. My boyfriend and I loved this spot! read more

Went here a few months ago on a date night and we had a ton of fun axe throwing!!! It was both of our first times doing ace throwing. The staff gave us some tips and we tried out single and double sided axes! This was a lot of fun!! We had some good banter with some of the other patrons of the establishment. The only downside is that the snack bar doesn't have any real food. They have some alcohol in to go containers, nachos, candy, snow cones, soda and water. We had a lot of fun, it was clean, safe, staff was friendly. Also they were on Groupon so it was a good price. We went in August or September of 2021. We'll be back! read more

We had a great time at Lake Norman Miniature golf! The course was 18 holes and very well themed and maintained. We also did axe throwing! We had a great time doing that as well. You can have 4 players per bay and there are different competitions you can play. You do have to wear close-toed shoes to axe throw. I gave 4/5 stars because one of the staff members was very unfriendly. It was the older lady working the food and drink station. She was very rude and rolled her eyes at me and had an attitude. Overall- would come again, but will avoid ordering food or drinks if she is working. read more

Super cute miniature golf course. Great for families with kids of all ages. One of the best themed mini golf courses we have ever been to. We also did axe throwing which had 3 bays with up to 4 people per bay. You have to be at least 18 and must wear closed toed shoes. The only thing I took a star off for was the service. There was one older lady working there who was extremely rude when buying tickets and on a separate occasion when ordering food. Another great outing during COVID. Its tucked away in Lake Norman but definitely deserves more shine. The course is really cute and they continue to up date the course and provide other activities. Ax throwing is coming soon and there is a rock climbing wall. The prices are really good and there is always opportunities to win a free game if you get a hole in one at the hole of the day or you can get a discount on your next game if you get the trivia questions of the day. There are snacks, snowballs and craft beer to purchase as well that you can have on the course. We came here for outdoor axe throwing and it was a lot of fun. They put 4 people in a lane and give you a coach to help perfect your throw. Then the competition starts! Everyone gets five throws three times for fifteen throws total. They also sell different snacks, ice cream, adult and nonalcoholic slushees, and drinks. Axe throwing sessions are one hour each. Great outdoor activity if you're looking for something to do during the pandemic! Everyone wears masks and they disinfect everything. Plus you're spaced more than 6ft away from others. I love this place! We just found our new favorite cute activity to do on the weekends. The 18 hole course is really fun and not too challenging (it is for me, but you know). As far as mini golf places go this one is pretty nice. The holes were interesting and unique and pretty well maintained I give it a 8.4/10 on how nice the greens were. Only problem with the course is the set up of most holes......most of the holes have more then one path you can take to get next to the pin but putting more risky usually doesn't place you in a better spot then putting the easy route. Which is unfortunate because your forced to chose between playing for fun knowing you'll do poor or playing To win which isn't thrilling. Great spot for an outing with kids. My husband took my 3.5 year old the first time and he had so much fun. The place wasn't crowded and my son kept asking to go back. Children under 5 play free with an adult ticket $8, so it's a really great deal. We purchased a fundraising card for Community School of Davidson and it offered BOGO. So we as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) are able to play for $8. They even have plastic putters for very young toddlers. The landscaping and overall vibes were great. We came to mini golf with my whole family, 8 adults and 2 kids. The guy working (owner? Not sure) asked if we'd mind splitting into 2 groups. We didn't mind and happily parted into a guy's group and a girls group. The course was really fun, even if a few of the holes were a little too easy. We really loved the one with the spinner that gave instructions to each golfer. We also had a lot of fun with the hole that allowed you to putt into the stream. This is a very well maintained course. There are a lot of other detailed reviews so I won't go into crazy detail. I came when it wasn't crowded on a weeknight and it wasn't busy at all. The ambience was very appropriate for families and for dates. The holes were tricky but not impossible for beginners. The set-ups were interesting and the last gold with the toilet was funny. They had a few fans around which was a great addition because it was humid when we came. I would definitely return. read more
