There are 3 restroom areas along the walking path. . Lots of grassy and tree areas. The walking path is one mile around the lakes it is paved. You cannot swim or do any water stuff like boating , paddle boarding etc. in the lakes you can fish there. They allow dogs if leashed. Lots of geese , ducks , and migratory birds. Do need to be aware of snakes. Park is surrounded by desert.

The Nature Heritage Trail was pretty straightforward and easy. Was recommended by the staff on the Bobcat Trail. The Bobcat Trail wasn't hard and the view was amazing. Recommend hiking shoes if you do the Bobcat Trail. Also, recommend wearing long pants and closed toe shoes. There were narrow trails and bushes that could cut skin. There were a few picnic tables. Trails were not shaded. The Interpretive Center was small, but pretty cool as they had a very active snake on display. Overall, great place to hike. They have different trail lengths. Would come back.

I purchased my cabin pass last July and have only been able to use it 1 time, having to travel 2 hours away! You can book up to 2 months in advance, except their is never anything available for people with the cabin pass, but if your paying cash, they have plenty available! It's false advertisement! I will not be renewing

Decent sized park....some "artsy" type structures for kids to frolick around with...I couldn't…read morequite figure most of them out and with the exception of the rope and chains to climb on, swing sets and slides. The adult/gym area was very interesting, I've never seen a park with makeshift public gym equipment. I used most of them and with the exception of the leg press (no weight or resistance bands/gimmick) I liked them. Plenty of grass area to play around and a fairly large wood-chip playground. I didn't get a chance to peek into the gymnasium but it looks quite large. It was early morning and the only turnoff for me was the "rattlesnake" sign. So watch your kids if you go later in the day or near sunset. If you need to # 2 in the toilet though...bring your own TP or go home...No soap and the TP is practically inaccessible...at least in the men's room. I'll have to go back in the evening to see how crowded it gets. Really rural area near Lake Los Angeles...bad rumors about the area but I'll see for myself one of these days. Definitely a good park to take a morning stroll with your kid(s) and get a good workout before work.
