Once in that area another worker patiently provided insight into good beginner rods. I was informed that I could test out the rod for up to 60 days and if I didn't like it I could bring it back. Thankfully I used it today and will not be bringing it back because I really like my Ugly Stik! They also provide some free fishing line with purchase of a rod. The store is clean and well lit and the same goes for the parking lot. Check out was a breeze as I didn't have wait long and the checkout clerk was really sweet. I was given a container of Salted Caramel Fudge Bites before I left in exchange for a review! The fudge bites are AMAZING!

My experience with HDC HuntStore was terrible. I took a shotgun to them for cleaning (rust) and to…read morehave a bead put on. I was told that they could get the rust off, which is not true. I was also told by the manager, Patrick Fry, that they would call me BEFORE any cleaning /work was done for a price quote. This never happened either. I paid $140.00 to get the shotgun back and was very upset at the appearance because it still looked the same. I told the owner ,Nathan Hunt, that I was unhappy with the work. Nathan Hunt said"We'll, there aren't a lot of gunsmiths around, but maybe you can find someone". That was not helpful to me at all. Nathan Hunt didn't apologize or ask what he could do to make me, his customer, happy. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
