Each session's exercises were printed out and given to me so work could continue at home. Ki's attention to posture and safety when doing exercises was very much appreciated. After about 6 weeks working with Ki and out of surgery for about 4 months, I could do full plank, partial push ups. At about 6 months from surgery and working at home, I can now do 2 full plank push ups. I'm a 71.5 year old woman. I credit Ki for my rather fast recovery and for keeping me highly motivated, interested, safe from injury, and challenged. I appreciated Ki's professionalism, attentiveness, knowledge, and dry sense of humor. Terrific therapist.

It has also been getting numb and falls asleep quite a bit.I feel like I can't trust my own hand. Went to my orthopedic who told me to try therapy. I went and the doctors quickly established that she wanted to cancel my appointment because it wasn't constant pain but on and off. She periodically kept asking me questions then telling me she was going to cancel the appointment. She even had me do exercises to test the strength in my hand which cause me pain while doing it. But she continued to says she was going to cancel the appointment. She basically just told me to avoid doing things. I've been wanting to do weight lifting exercise but haven't been able to do them because of this.I think she misunderstood thinking this was a thing I was doing a lot and everyday. When in realityI've done next to none because of the hand weakness. So it's very clear the weights aren't the issue. She told me to just not do it. I told her I was only using 5 pounds weights which is literally nothing. We lift heavier things on the day to day. But she was pretty confident saying that was a lot?? I cant even exercise because I can't trust my hand. I can't just avoid everything. I don't understand why she didn't even think to give me a few sessions to see if I could benefit from them but instead she just told me it might just go away. When I brought up the numbness she said it might be my spine, so I brought up going to a dr and she pretty much said that I should just wait and it'll probably go away... Just doesn't sit right to me... this is life changing stuff and she basically wants me to wait and hopefully it'll go away. It's already been around 3 months... when will it go away?

I had a pretty nasty accident that effected my ability to sit, walk and even perform basic functions. With the care they have provided me I was able to get my mobility back along with my quality of live. With the types of care they have to offer, you can have confidence in Alliance Physical therapy( I was in the woodbridge location) Thank you so much to everyone in that office! Ethan, Ben, Tara, Princess, Joseph, Justin, Eric and the lady with the really cool tinted glasses all the time, I feel bad for not remembering her name along with all the others who have helped me with my care. So to whomever decided to read this I honestly could not recommend a better place for physical therapy treatment 10/10 spot

They have many different therapists and they rotate them so you have numerous therapists treating your condition which I believe helps tremendously in regards to ensuring they try everything they can to get you back to normal. The exercise routines they have put me on are helping and combined with the many different treatments they use I am in much better shape than when I began my treatment. They have used a variety of treatments on me to include electrical stimulation, cupping, massage, chiropractic adjustments and most importantly DRY NEEDLING! I am very grateful for the treatment I have received and in the future I will be sure to come back the next time my back goes out. I highly recommend them.

Not sure I understand some of the complaints. The front desk staff in Alexandria knew who I was…read moremeeting with with and gave me the appropriate forms prior to meeting with him. I took in my X-Rays and had a very detailed conversation with him about the areas of concern that I had. He did an evaluation, used heat packs and did a very good job of adjusting my back and neck without pain. A massage in any chiropractor's office is targeted, and they are generally referred to as Swedish or Therapeutic. Who goes to a Chiropractor for a massage? I have Massage Therapists for massage and a Chiropractor for adjustments. Would never occur to me to go to a Podiatrist for reflexology or a Dermatologist to get my eyebrows waxed! All in all Dr. Mac is very professional and obviously many years of training. If you are looking for a good Chiropractor who won't beat you up, he's the guy.

Came in with kbg deal, 3 massages for $30. It was not what I expected. This place is not worth it,…read moreeven tho it sounds like a good deal. 1) you can't park in the parking lot in front of the building, if you do you will get a ticket. 2) Dr Mac's name is not listed on the building directory. But all you know is that you are looking for suite 200. You get on the elevator to the 2nd floor, and it takes you right in front of suite 200. Then it gets awkward. You sit there waiting in front of a receptionist who isn't really the receptionist for Dr Mac. There's just a bunch of random stuff going on, nothing related to massage or chiropractic care. 3) your "hands on massage" lasts 5 to 10 min. After that he will use a regular vibratory massager to massage your back (which is something you really could've done yourself at home) 4) if you've got knots in your back, proceed with caution! This guy digs his fingernail into your back to "break the knots" (where do they do that at?!) 5) next he will try to assess your alignment. He may tell you that one leg is shorter than the other. He will use some type of hammer like tool to knock on random joints in your lower back and butt (which really doesn't do anything at all) 6) on to the actual adjustment- its not very thorough. I've had other chiropractors do a much better job. You leave there feeling like there was so much more that could've been cracked. He will say that he only does light force adjustments. 7) He promotes his package deals, especially the diamond package at $900/year. 8) He will tell you that your vitamins are not good enough, in order to sell his own vitamins 9) Not once did I see him wash his hands. 10) he is only at this location 3 times a week. 11) After the 3rd visit, he will give you an analysis of your health, which is a bunch of bs. 12) I could tell you more, but i think you get the point. Bottom line: save your $30 for something else.

The facility stays busy and is always clean. Each table is sanitized as soon as the patient is finished, which is a plus! If you are unable to come during normal business hours, they also have a location in the lower level of the building that stays open a little later that then location upstairs.
