I have even had companies come out here to give me bids. As the guy is telling me we do not have a problem he is batting them away...yeah...no thank you. The other day my daughter and I were driving home from Town & Country Market (another fan favorite of mine) as we came upon a truck for Snohomish Pest Control. I called immediately (which means once I was in position to do so safely and legally...). The gal that answered the phone was so helpful and scheduled me right then. She even explained why the visit needed to take place when it was not raining since these wretched beasts (my words) were not out and about in such weather. Thank you! Jordan, the owner of Snohomish Pest Control, showed up on time and was amazing! Here are just a few of the reasons I say that: * He was respectful of me and my home. * He didn't freak out over our very large puppy, nor did he do anything to make that encounter worse by trying to engage with her. I say that because Valor is already big and "busy". I don't need someone "ramping her up". Jordan already understood that. * Jordan listened. YAY! * Next, he walked the entire property, again listening to my concerns. * After that, he explained everything he was suggesting he do, clearly and specifically. He also made sure I knew the chemicals they use would not hurt my pets or koi, nor would they kill mason or honey or bumble bees. She felt my fear of rodents so that is a plus. They sent in the Punisher , Alex. I made that name up by the way but his name was Alex and he didn't come to play around. Got right down to business and showed me what I need to do to get my house back in shape from rodents. He pointed out the holes from my crawl space which I would never ever go in. He saw a new hole created underneath my crawlspace from another animal which he sealed up for me. Alex also flashed lights at the wall to see any light bleed through it . If there were any that's where the rodents would be entering in. Now Alex set up massive amount of traps under my crawlspace and outside the house. TLDR It was a rat colony but it's all gone. I placed 6 ring camera all over my place and there has been zero activity. 14 rats were taken out and even the mother rat. That was huge! I couldn't get the mother rat with my own traps . It was destroyed in the crawl space. I even have videos of it getting out my sticky traps. Alex annihilated the rats so bad I found a few dead behind my siding wall which lead to a new hole discovery. You can tell it's behind the wall by the smell. Like something is dead but you don't know where. I volunteer to buy myself an endoscope and I saw piles of dead rats behind my wall. It was massive. Alex not only showed me the holes where the rats were coming in ( 8 holes) but also educated me that bird feeders is the reason why my area has rat issues. I don't own any bird feeders but the neighbor 3 house down just spill entire bag of bird seeds all over the floor. My god. I will be using Pest solutions in the future. Heck once every 3 months I will call them to come do a routine check. After seeing my neighbor bird seeds all over the damn floor, I have to get pest control .

The rep arrived on date scheduled and after going in the crawl space informed there are mouses. Given an option to leave traps in crawl space and they would secure any openings into the home. I was informed they can't get into the walls as the house underneath was covered leaving no access to the walls. They charged me $500 to leave the traps and would return at a later date to retrieve the traps. They failed to set up follow up in a timely manner as I had to call back several times inquiring about the follow up. Yes, I agreed to the charges but felt the price seemed high for the work they did. Still scratching noises behind the walls.

Upon arrival of technician, they discovered where the rats were coming from, but said he wont patch up the holes. Technician said we would have to hire another company for patchwork. So now we have to hire another company to patch the holes 2) a complete survey was not done. Technician didnt even go up stairs or in the attic. 3) the texts received from the company was offering a $130 off coupon if we hired them. Obviously some communication issues with the person texting and whom I called, because I already hired them. 4) so paid $500 for laying down a few traps. Not worth it. Would not recommend to any of my neighbors.

Unfortunately, that changed over time. This spring, I was informed my pricing was increasing because he was restructuring his pricing as he worked to grow his business. On the subsequent visit he informed me he was again changing his pricing structure and increasing prices. As a loyal customer, it felt like existing customers were simply paying more to help finance that growth rather than being valued for their continued business. Towards the end of May, I paid to have my home treated for ants. Initially, I only saw an occasional ant afterward, but within a few weeks, I was finding groups of ants in multiple rooms throughout my home. When I contacted Keith, I expected the issue to be addressed. Instead, I was told that Simple Pest Control does not guarantee its work and that I would need to pay for another treatment. He also stated that his product takes one to two months to become effective and that pest control companies don't offer guarantees for ant treatments because ants are so pervasive during the summer. This directly contradicted what I had been told during previous visits. In the past, Keith assured me that if the treatment didn't resolve the issue within a couple of weeks, he would return and re-treat the affected areas at no additional cost. After I pointed this out, he eventually agreed to perform a one-time "courtesy" re-treatment. The customer service during this "courtesy" visit was even more disappointing. We had agreed on a 2:30-3:00 PM appointment window. At 1:06 PM, I received a text stating he was running early and would arrive in 20 minutes. He never asked whether I was home or available. I happened to be grocery shopping and had to abandon my cart with the store manager and rush home. As he was finishing the treatment, I explained that if he was going to arrive more than an hour early, he should at least confirm that his customer was home before showing up. His response was, "I don't need to ask my clients anything. I'm doing you a courtesy. I'm not going to plan my day around you. I'm not even getting paid for this, and I'm too busy to stop and ask you for permission." I'm not quite sure how he plans to treat the inside of a home if the homeowner is not home... At that point, I asked him to leave my home. After this experience, I contacted several other pest control companies to compare their policies. Every company I spoke with stated they stand behind their work and would re-treat the same pest issue if it returned shortly after service without charging the customer again. They also advised that their treatments begin working immediately rather than taking one to two months. I ultimately chose Pest Fighters because they offer a service guarantee, reasonable pricing, effective treatments, and products that are safe for household pets. My experience left me with the impression that Simple Pest Control is focused more on growing its business and raising prices than on taking care of the customers who helped build it. Between repeated price increases, the lack of any service guarantee, inconsistent explanations about follow-up treatments, and disrespectful customer service, I can no longer recommend this company.

Attic had been ignored for years. It was one of those places nobody really thinks about until…read moresomething feels off in the house. Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Attic cleaning and insulation is probably one of those things people forget about until it becomes a problem. Looking back it probably should have been done earlier, but really glad it finally got taken care of.
