Kathy does the best shellac nails! My friend and I went there almost 4 weeks ago and our shellac is still looking great with no chips! We also got pedicures and those still look awesome also! I was a walk-in on a very busy, midday Friday & I got a seat at a pedicure station right away. Had a spa pedicure & some upper lip & brow waxing done & was very satisfied with both. VERY competitively priced. If you want the tranquil "spa atmosphere," go elsewhere & pay out the nose for it (plus you'd have to book an appointment in advance.) I am from Australia. They did a fantastic job doing a mani and pedi shellac nails. I got them done a week ago and there is no peeling or chipping happening. They also gave a delightful leg massage as part of my mani which I thoroughly enjoyed. On the waxing side I got my eyebrows and lips done and wasn't as happy. The waxing was quick and I found my brows lacked shape and differed in their appearance from one another. My lip wax was fine however there was not coverup supplied when leaving so redness was obvious. 4/5 nails 2/5 facial waxing :) read more

So I really liked this place at first was satisfied with my nails then I went in there one day with my daughter and there happened to be 3 other girls in there. From the sounds of it a bride and 2 of her bridesmaids one of the girls accidentally dropped a nail polish bottle and while the workers were very nice and the lady was apologizing and helping clean the owner Kathy came over and was YELLING AT HER saying these are 5,000 dollars because a little speck got on one of the pedicure chairs. THEY AREN'T EVEN REAL LEATHER KATHY you lost my business I was so shocked with how you talked to her in front of all of us you should be ashamed with yourself! I hope the bride doesn't go back there either because NOBODY deserves that kind of treatment! I'm sorry but there are other people to do nails. accidents happen and you're lucky it wasn't my daughter because if you talked to her that way we would have had issues. I have never tried this salon before and I was very impressed. The staff was first of all extremely nice and friendly. I got a pedicure and the woman doing my toes was named Star. She is funny and kind, so ask for her! They were prompt, asked what I liked, and when I said I didn't want something they didn't push. I loved that! I'm going back in a couple weeks for a facial and wax. I loved that Star explained all their procedures to me without trying to force me to do them, like other salons I've been to. I really wanted to enjoy the service my niece and I received at this shop, the employees were very nice (hence the 2 stars) however they are extremely busy. It was to the point that I was not seen till an hour after my appointment time. Again due to many customers both employees were very rushed with their work, thus not very pleased with the shape/overall look of our sets. read more

I've gone in twice now. Both times I've seen Cathy, and won't see anyone else. She does an amazing job with acrylics and shellac. My first set lasted 3.5 long weeks, when I was finally able to go back in my nails hadn't chipped, or lifted at all. I had a fill and shellac placed again yesterday and they look amazing! read more

When she left the salon I use to patronize in Mukilteo, I looked all over for a competent nail technician without success. When you've had the best, it's difficult to settle for less. Then, I finally discovered Cathy was in Monroe! If you want nails that are beautifully formed, and last without chipping or peeling, then ask for Cathy! The high quality of work she does is worth my drive from Mukilteo to Monroe! It's really not so far away, but if needed, I would travel even farther for her services!
