Update for this nail salon, it has since been taken over by new management and I take myself my mom and my sister every few weeks, they are wonderful and accommodating, my mom has MS and needs special handling while doing her gel manicures they go out of their way to make sure she has a good experience and results. My sister is developmentally disabled and they treat her with kindness and respect. I would definitely recommend this nail salon under the new management. If I could give this salon 0 stars I would... I have given this place numerous chances but 4 out of the last 5 times I went for my dip powder nails I have made appointments for both my mom and myself and I have been left waiting for 45 minutes or longer, I think the worst part is how unapologetic the owner is she has no regard for customer experience just after money so she over books the schedule regularly. I will never give her another cent. There are a couple of very nice technicians but overall the customer experience is poor. There are so many small businesses that I would prefer to support. This was my second visit. The first time I went was back in April and the service was okay at best. The technician literally picked off the gel polish by scraping at it with cuticle clippers, no soaking or use of the dremel. My cuticles were barely touched and the polish was sloppy. They have beverages available but I was not offered one. During this second visit it has been solidified that I will not be returning. I chose the organic level pedicure, the products smelled very nice and were of good quality. My nails were cut and poorly filed, the salt scrub was mixed with the lotion and lasted only a few minutes on each leg. It was a joke that they even used the grater or pumice like block... it was as if she went through the motions but put forth little pressure to actually remove any dead/dry skin. The selection of polishes and colors is abundant. The shop is bright and clean, they used sealed/packaged pedicure kits that included: file, buffer, pumice like block, and toe separators. I was offered a water this go around! I chose a gel polish but the application was not the best. I had product on the sides of my toes and the top coat ticker in different areas. There was no consistency in the timing of the nail lamp used... which is a red flag for me because these products need to be fully cured in order to last and not be harmful. If you're looking to be in and out without having high expectations then this would be somewhere to go. read more

Booked an appointment for 1:30 for 3 of us, needed to change it to 4 of us. So we had to change our appointment to 2:30. Get there and had to wait... then my mom and her friend had to leave because it was almost 3 and they still hadn't sat down yet. I went in for a full leg wax..... she mentioned about the back of my thighs being a little longer. (Because of health problems I have it takes a lot of energy to shave) anyways everything seemed fine.... Then she charged me $10 extra because of it. Get home and there is SOOO much hair missed. I'm really sad to have had the experience I did, I was excited to try a new spot close to home. I went in for a simple fill. I didn't catch her name, but the nail tech had short bright red hair. Right off the bat, she was rude and sassy when I tried to explain to her what I wanted my nails to look like (short, square, more narrow at the tip, one solid color- nothing out of the norm.) I brushed it off, maybe it was a misunderstanding. While she was rushing through getting my nails done, she seemed to be half paying attention to my nails, and half watching videos on her phone. I really wish she would've paid more attention to my nails.. I left with my nails on one hand being significantly longer than my other hand, and almost all of my nails are REALLY uneven (should I have asked her to fix it in the moment- yes. She was so rude about letting her know what nail shape I wanted, I figured asking her to fix them might not go over well.) When it came time to pay, she asked me for a tip. I tried to decline as politely as possible.. I felt bad, but I didn't feel like the whole experience really warranted a tip. She proceeded to toss my card towards me rather than just handing it to me. The whole thing just left me feeling really disappointed. Went in today around noon with a friend, the ladies were very nice and greeting us. Once I started my pedicure, I was being poked and picked at, even just cutting my nails she did them way too short and was very rough the whole time. I was cringing at every moment. The quality paint job was even worse, painting on my skin and nails were jagged. Their work was half-assed and all the water they used on me was cold. The lady with the colored hair was the worst. I saw them make two people go the conveniently placed ATMA inside just to pull out cash for a tip. First time trying a nail salon in LS, have been here for a few years but would drive to Everett instead. Unfortunately this salon was a bad experience. I went in for a pedicure and manicure with gel, chose the classic combo for $45 with gel they said it would be $75 so thats $30 for gel on hands and feet. No menu anywhere to confirm the prices. Thought that was kind of outrageous but was willing to pay it since its been a while since I treated myself. I let the lady doing my manicure know I have lots of hang nails and would really like her to clean them up, as she's cutting my cuticle's she was making comments and showing the other nail tech how much dead skin I have on my nails, I thought that was rude but okay. The pedicure was supposed to include hot stones which I never received. Now we get to applying the polish, the color I really liked but either the application or quality of the polish was off and unfortunately it did not look good. I told her I wasn't happy with it, she called over their manager who was very rude and I decided to not get polish and save myself a headache. Service was sloppy and rushed, rude technicians and management, place is decently clean. It was dead in there when I walked in at 4 pm on Saturday only 1 other customer which explains a lot. I've been coming here every 3-4 weeks for about 7 months now. Usually my nails would turn out decent and every 1 out of 5 times they would do a poor job on them. That 1/5 has now turned into a 50/50 chance of my nails looking good and the last two times I've been in there my nails have looked prettyyyyy bad, to where I probably won't be finishing my punch card off here before I look for a new nail salon. My best friend and I came in last night with appointments. (I do not have pictures of her nails, the pictures attached are just mine.) I've been doing the new dip powder both these last times. The first time I did it it came out verrryyyy thick, it looked like I had a mountain on top of my nails which I definitely was not pleased when I had people comment on that the 3 weeks I had those nails. I liked the idea of the dip powder so I figured I'd give it one more try. A different lady did them and while they didn't come out thick this time and we perfect in that aspect.. the work itself was just sloppy and not what I'm willing to continue paying 50$ for. She filed so hard on one spot continually that the file caused friction and broke my skin making me bleed (trust me it is very painful having chemicals repeatedly put on it the whole time after that I was sitting there and yes I paid full price for this to happen). My nails are not cut the same lengths at all which quite frankly happens every single time I've gone there. The tips of my nails are so rough on top that even my boyfriend who knows nothing about manicures asked if my nails were supposed to feel like that. Nope! Not to mention they were not cleaned up around the edges and I still have marks all over my fingers. My friend basically has the same complaints except for the fact it was her first time getting the dip powder. She could physically see the lady skipping steps on certain nails, she did not file underneath her nails after the dip powder which is to get all the extras out from under your nails (luckily she called her out on it and the lady turned around and did it but didn't even get all of it. I had this issues the first time I did the dip powder as well with her.) and her fingers were so badly marked up at the end when they were about to finish up with us that even the owner/manager (I assume) told her she needed to clean her fingers up. She apologized to my friend repeatedly saying how tired she was then proceeded to not clean my friends hands up. We didn't say anything because at that point we were just ready to go home. It's really hard to continue spending my money here when every time I go in, I have to just hope they do a good job. Time to find a new place! read more

I was able to have a spontaneous spa day with a friend and got to introduce her to hot stone massage and paraffin dips for the feet. The re did it, and this is the end result. They are bumpy, and peeling. Look nothing like the picture. The were upset that I did not want to pay the bill in cash, and said when I come back I must pay in cash. They charged me $233 dollars + tip, and I am so unhappy. I used to work at a very high-end spa in the Spokane area and was spoiled with amazing and expensive pedicures while working there. So, whenever I go to a smaller nail salon I'm always weary and I never am quite satisfied. LS Nails is amazing!! I only paid $25 and got a great quality pedicure. They also provide options for more expensive and higher-quality pedicures and manicures. I am definitely going here again. This shop is so close to my house and it continues to get good reviews I decided to give it another try. I try not to judge the whole based on a single experience. Glad that I did. I made an appt for a mani and pedi. Arrived and was greeted. Told they were a little behind. I chose polish and waited about 10 minutes. I have been going from shop to shop over the past 6 months looking for a great pedicure. The shop I had been going to for the past 5 years had been continuously declining in the customer service part as well as the quality of their work. I think I found my new home. This is a very busy shop so you should make an appt and you still might have to wait a bit. They are welcoming and accomodating. The pedicure was far superior than any of the 12 shops I have visited I the past 6 months. I don't do many manicures, but that was far superior than I have ever received as well. read more

My first time here at LS and it was FANTASTIC!!! The ladies are nice and polite. Clean, no noise, very professional. The prices for all services are clearly listed so there are no questions if they do a certain type of nail style. Lots of nail colors to choose from and glitter tips if you love sparkle! I was able to get a full set dark pink and white with gel top coat and a design on two fingers for $50.00. I didn't get her name but she was fabulous!! Took her time and detailed!! I walked in just after the salon opened on a Wednesday with a friend. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait for pedicures which was fine. After 20 minutes they filled up the water at two chairs and had us sit down. One of the technicians began working on my friend right away while I soaked. I sat for 45 minutes and nobody became available to work on me. My water became cold and I was running out of time. I told the technician working on my friend that I no longer had time for the pedicure but would just like my nails painted. The gal was a bit rough filing my nails and cut one of my fingers. She apologized for the cut but did not apologize for having me wait and never making the time for a pedicure. Just before ringing me up for the paint she looked at me and asked how much I wanted to tip. I am still kicking myself for giving a tip (I always tip) because the service was terrible. I was there for an hour and 20 minutes and only got my nails painted and a cut finger. I understand businesses get busy and technicians might not be available but they should have informed me of that from the moment I walked in. They should not have seated me and led me to believe they would be with me at any moment. I would have left had I not arrived with a friend who was getting served. Best nail salon I've been to in a while! Did a great job on my acrylic nails and very friendly. They made sure me and my friend got to sit by each other and I overall had a great experience. The only thing is that the polish is kind of fading after a couple of days, but I think that's because I got a matte top coat, which isn't a great polish protector, and mostly just for looks.
