Dr. Frame was great and never tried to sell me on things I didn't need. Dr. Raab was very thorough and gentle. (But she isn't there anymore). More recently I have had some experiences that just don't sit quite right. Nothing horrible or major, but just a little off. (For instance, I had a dog with a UTI and was told that I would get 10-14 days of antibiotics and then only got 7. It just made me wonder. Did that create the need to come back for more services? It was things like that). I also think they have been taken over by another company. The bottom of their website says "Part of Lakefield Veterinary Group". That could be part of it. The drugs there seem very expensive. When I compare the cost there with what I would pay at Costco, it is about double. Maybe they can't help it, but it just seems like 100% markup is a lot. So, that is my two cents worth. I am planning to go elsewhere now.

We had been patrons of Companion Animal Hospital for about 30 years and always were happy customers--until this morning. We arrived for our 9:30 appointment. The vet arrived at 10:00 and seemed harried because, as we soon learned, she was "supposed to be with another client." (Our fault??) She began a rapid monologue, got upset when we asked questions about a medicine for our cat, suggested we were incapable of understanding her explanation, got more upset when we tried to assure her we understood what she was saying. But she was wound up and wouldn't stop berating us. Finally she stormed out of the room saying "We're done here. You can make another appointment or find another vet!" We've chosen the latter.

He didn't approve of my getting my kitty's meds from Chewy (drastically lower cost) or the local compounding pharmacy. Her initial prescription was ordered by his cooperating pharmacy on the east coast. 2 click pens were paid for (per my call to that pharmacy) but I was only given 1, yet paid for 2, later the 2nd was "given to me as a courtesy". The estimate was lowered from $610 to just under $200 for shots and weight, no exam. My little girl was howling and hissing after being manhandled. The building is deteriorating, walkway broken up with lots of debris, lots of scratches and chips in exam rooms, lots of overpriced "products" for sale, staff is harried and seemingly overwhelmed. We are moving on.

I got there right before closing and Dr. Ken was kind enough to take time out of his evening to tell me about their cat friendly practice and show me around the clinic, including the areas that they perform surgeries and teeth cleanings. Dr. Ken has now been daisy's vet for the past three years and I can't say enough about the exceptional care they have provided to her! From the friendly office staff, to getting her in for emergency appointments... they even have cat boarding and a cat gym! They also offer "cats night out" events where your cat can socialize with other cats and you can learn information on how to better care for your pet. And to top everything off, Dr. Ken is one of those veterinarians that paddle boards and home brews. Can't beat that-- I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Cats hide their sickness, so we did not have any warning signs. We did not have a lot of time, but did not want to have him pass scared at the emergency vet. We were lucky enough to be able to bring him home and have Full Circle come over the same day. Carrie has the perfect demeanor and was so kind through the process. She explained what would happen and made sure we were ready to do so when the time came. While I hope to never have to call/use Full Circle again, I am very thankful that we were able to be with Milhouse at home while he passed. He was comfortable and did not need to suffer longer than necessary.

This experience was not great, and it started and ended with the desk staff. I arrived and it was unclear to the employees who was supposed to help me. The women were walking past me until one stepped up to the desk and checked me in. I then went into one of the rooms and had my cat looked at. The veterinarian was very nice and helpful. She was knowledgeable and wanted to help my cat get better. I left the room and came back the next day for another appointment. The staff were confused and angry that I had questions about my cat. I needed other information that the vet said she had left but the front desk staff and vet techs had no idea what was going on. It was surprising to me that the desk staff were rude to me on the phone and in person. I had a great experience with the veterinarian but with the other staff it was not great. After these few instances I have stopped taking my animals here, which was pretty hard considering their veterinarian is wonderful. I hope in the future I will be able to return without the desk staff being rude.

I called in the late morning (around 11) asking about prices for shots and some different preventative medications, and they seemed fair, so I asked if I could get my pup in later that day, and they had an opening a little after 2. Since we were new, I gave her a little information about my pup over the phone, and that was that. Checking in the first time was a breeze. Wrote down my information and his, put him on the scale and we were done. I spent roughly 5 minutes in the waiting room after that and the Vet came out and called my pup's name. We went in, he asked some background questions, and went over what we came in for. I asked if there was anything else he recommended, and he said there was one more vaccination, and another, depending on how often I had him around other dogs. I told them I would like to buy Advantix for flea and tick prevention, and he said they no longer carried it, but offered to check if they had any left of the supply they once had, and also told me about an equivalent they switched to without pressuring me into that one. I ended up going with the one they carried, and got rebates on it and the other preventative medication I purchased. Checking out was just as simple and easy as checking in, the staff was friendly and professional through my entire visit, with not only my dog, but all of the animals I saw them interact with. To summarize, not a negative word to say. Great place, I'm very pleased.
