This was such a great place!!! They had a HUGE indoor area and also a pretty big outdoor space. The tour through the brewery was a tiny bit too long but I loved our tour guide - he was very entertaining and funny. I was obsessed with the nitro creamsicle beer. It had a strong orange flavor and was so smooth and refreshing. I also loved their cheese curds!!! Highly recommended.

4++ wildly popular brewery located in the Milwaukee area. I can see why they're so popular. They have a good variety of styles of beer on top and any given time in the streamline menu featuring classics in the area. The vibe is pretty active here because of its popularity. If I recall correctly, the service style is pretty standard. Where you go to the counter and order a beer and find some seating. Came here on a trip with some friends when we were visiting the Green Bay Packers Stadium. Had a good time and drink some solid beers. I was eating at a few places so I didn't get food here. If you're visiting the area and enjoy beer and good times, I feel like this is a must visit place. Also easy to find parking as there are a lot of spaces along a road leading up to this place. Easy for rideshare services get in and out as well.

What a delightful brewery! I had a great time sitting outside over the weekend with my dog enjoying the weather and the beer. They do allow dogs anywhere outside, which I found delightful! They have a beer hut outside which has a few beers on tap, but you can get their full compliment of beers inside (and take them back outside) as well as use the same tab inside and outside. I also tried the cheese curds, which certainly lived up to the hype. I would definitely recommend this brewery to anyone looking in Milwaukee!

First of all, come here for the cheese curds and the beer. This brewery wins so many awards for both, and it's incredibly easy to understand why. They're delicious, and that's coming from someone who doesn't typically like either of those things. We also tried the beer brat, which was super tasty and had the perfect "snap". I'd probably sub out the fries for something else, but it was very enjoyable. While we visited, we also attended a weekday tour. The tour comes with 4 tokens which can be used for "half pour" beers (or 2 tokens for a "full pour"). The staff was incredibly generous with the pours, and we honestly had TOO much beer. The tour itself was unfortunately not very memorable. The was more of a high level overview of the history of Lakefront Brewery and the beer making process as opposed to an actual tour. Seemingly, the weekend tours allow you to get a bit closer to the equipment on the brewery floor, so keep that in mind if you're visiting during the week. Our "guide" was very knowledgeable and funny, but it just didn't feel much like the tour we were expecting. Still, worth the admission for the sheer amount of alcohol included!

Stopped by Lakefront Brewery for the vibes for trivia and fish fry basket, and it was exactly what you hope for in a classic Milwaukee fish fry. The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned -- light enough to enjoy every bite but hearty enough to feel like a real comfort meal. Service was great with a beverage and food line. We also ordered the original and spicy cheese curds, with a soft pretzel. Highly recommend! The homemade ranch deserves its own shoutout. It's rich, tangy, and clearly made in‑house. Easily one of the best ranch dips I've had, and it paired perfectly with the fish and fries. The French fries were golden, crunchy, and fresh -- no soggy fry in sight. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want next to a fish fry basket. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'd happily return to. Lakefront Brewery nails the classic Wisconsin fish fry experience.

A classic Milwaukee experience - local beer, fried cheese curds, and views of the river. Lakefront Brewery has a nice space (let's ignore the parking situation) in a slightly less touristy part of the city, a nice reprieve from the actual lakefront and third ward neighborhoods. They've got a solid beer selection, all the staples for a brewery in the US. They've also have a menu with bar staples, including the aforementioned cheese curds, which were delicious - hot and lightly battered, not fried past all recognition. The space is nice, there's a spacious hall with plenty of seating and a multilevel patio in the back with nice views.

We came for the beer and stayed for the food! It's always a fun atmosphere at Lakefront Brewery. The patio can't be beat, and there's always something entertaining going on. We started with the cheese curds of the month for May, French Onion wow! Absolutely mind-blowing. The entrées were great too, and the beer is always on point. They offer some staples and rotating selections, plus the best maple root beer around. The staff is always helpful if you're unsure what you want to drink, or even if you'd like to try a sample. Whether you're a local or just visiting, you'll love this place. A true Milwaukee staple!

Want some amazing Gluten free cheese curds!?!? Run to lakefront brewery where all the food in the food truck is GF. The service is great, sit outside on the "lake" and enjoy a GF drink, amazing

What a cool place to hang out! My friend took us to this place around lunchtime on a Saturday. It was busy, but we were able to get a table. When you order food or drinks, you have to go up to the bar or the food ordering area. They also have an area outside for this, which seemed awesome, since it was right on the river!! For food, I got the beer brat with fries. My boyfriend got the sausage platter and cheese curds. Everything was very good. For the sausage platter, he bought three buns since they did not come with buns. These were $2 each. Next time, I don't think we would need to order any buns since it is already a lot of food. We left this place stuffed! Would definitely come back!

This place is great! Riverfront views and a large beer hall will not disappoint. We did the tour with Brandon and he was an absolutely fantastic guide! Although it was so hot our tour didn't actually take us out into the brewery, it seemed everyone still had fun. You get 4 beers per person with your tokens and that alone is worth the price of admission. The tour lasts around 50 minutes. Bathrooms, great views, plentiful parking, boat parking, and a gift shop await you. Definitely stop by and give them a shot! Kid friendly too!

I cannot recommend this place more!! 1. The tour with Katie was funny, informative, and one of the highlights of my Wisconsin trip. 2. The beer is delicious! -Noon Game IPA: an IPA I will actually drink because it's not overly hoppy -New Grist Radler: a perfect drink for anyone who doesn't want their beer to taste like beer -Dive Beer: the perfect beers beer that's lightweight and satisfying 3. The vibes are lowkey and welcoming If I come back to Wisconsin, this place will be #1 on my must visit list!

Our first time in Milwaukee we wanted a brewery tour. This place came up in a search so off we went . What a find! We came early before our 2 pm tour to sample beer and have some lunch. I had the Brewben, my husband had the fish tacos. The food was very good . Reasonably priced, good portions, and tasty. The beer - oh the beer!! So many options - a taste for everyone . Hubs likes the IPAS; I like lighter beer. Plenty of choices ! Now the tour - we paid $14 each With the tour each of us received 4 tokens, each good for an 8 oz pour; this was a huge bonus . The tour paid for itself . During the tour we had a complementary pour from our guide, who was informative and hilarious . We received even more tokens during the tour for participating in the conversations and answering questions . Needless to say, it was well worth the cost. We had so many tokens we went back for lunch the next day! The fish and chips were amazing. Great brewery, right on the river , great vibe, great food. A great experience for us out-of-towners!

We took the famous Lakefront Brewery tour and then finished our evening with their Fish Fry! The fish was battered and fried perfectly, with big flakey pieces of fish on the inside. You can't miss an order of the cheese curds while at Lakefront. They are oh so cheesy, again with the light, but crisp batter on the outside, pairing perfectly with their ranch dressing which may be my favorite in the city!

Are you open on Friday during the day? Would love to stop by on our way to a wedding!

Becky -- Currently, we are not open during the day on Fridays. Our Takeout operation starts at 3PM where you can get beer and food to go out to our back patio. We'll also be serving beers on our patio at that time. Our table service operation begins…

    Is this place dog friendly?

I saw many pups roaming around when I visited :))

Do they do carry out/ to-go orders?

We do! We offer our food through counter service. Just let the cashier know you'd like to get it "to go" and we'll prepare it accordingly.

Heading there this weekend with my brother who is 20. He's not planning on drinking but I am worried if he'll be admitted and allowed to hang. Has anyone brought a friend or family member here who was underage?

No problem! People of all ages are welcome. He can even participate in the tour, but will be given root beer to drink.
