All the beers we tried on the flight were delicious! What a find in this historic brewing area. We didn't try any food but it looked and smelled awesome. You could tell people were just coming from the food. The bartender was also nice and attentive. I would definitely come back here.

Landed in Milwaukee this past weekend for my Dodgers vs Brewers and stayed for the beer! On our last evening we stopped by Central Waters Brewing. What a great historic place. The bartender, MidWest super nice, and the beer was delicious. We both had the Topwise Hazy IPA, so tasty. This whole Brewery district is worth spending some time. Their merch selection is good, tees, tin tackers, hats and more. Milwaukee has been a great visit and Central Waters was a great stop, cheers!!

We finally made our way to Central Waters Brewing Company MKE today and had an absolute blast! The beer was phenomenal, the location was spectacular, and the staff were great! The building is in a 150 year old German Methodist Church and it is stunning. The ambiance is new wave brewery with old time ecclesial architecture! The staff were super friendly and helpful as we discerned which drinks to get. Plus the prices were reasonable and affordable! My spouse and I both got flights! Some of our favorites included the "After Slice" Mexican lager with lime, the Topwise tropical IPA, and my spouse loved the barrel aged stouts! Lots of creative and innovative options to choose from! Plus there was a food vendor to order from! We got the carne asada fries and they were divine! So flavorful and delightfully filling. Exactly what we needed! Our first experience at Central Waters was phenomenal and we look forward to our next visit in the future!

The wife and I were road tripping and this was one of our last stops before heading home. It has been on my hit list ever since I picked up a pack of their barrel scotch ale previously; and this stop did not disappoint. My man Colin was a super gracious host and basically gave us the VIP experience. Located in a gorgeous former church smack dab next to Pabst and the original grain silos that you can totally see right outside the windows from the bar. The bar tap handles are all hand painted ducks and there is a plethora of product to peruse, from beer, to merch, to whiskey, and beyond! Located just north of historic third ward in the beer district, you should definitely make it a point to stop in and patronize. In terms of food, they have snacks available, think pretzels and popcorn all the time; and a third party vendor available the rest of the time. My personal faves, the barrel scotch ale and the northern rivals barrel barley wine beer. If you appreciate good craft beer and have not hit Central Waters as of yet, put it on your hit list and make a day, and/or, weekend of it in MKE.

When in Wisconsin, we are always on the lookout for new Breweries to try and this one has to be on your list! Street parking nearby! The brewery is situated inside an old church, which makes for a unique and cool interior. Plenty of long, communal tables and bar spots, but the best seats are located upstairs with some more casual and private seating for small-medium groups. Service was plenty friendly as we ordered our beers at the bar. The beer was pretty solid! We had a flight of beers including their honey blonde, pineapple sour, red ale, and coffee stout! All were tasty in their own right and their menu is quite extensive! I'm sure you're bound to find something you'd like!

Very cool tap room renovated from an old church building. Excellent tap list and friendly service. Lots of seating at the bar, inside or upstairs. A few tanks in the basement on display. Delicious barrel aged stouts!

We are out of towners without the kids! I had the Honey Blond Ale and enjoyed it a lot. Not too strong but very flavorful. Husband had the HHG and said it was very good. His second beer was Rift. The layout is super cool in an old German Methodist church. It's bright and open. The bartender was friendly. Food is a separate place: Troublemakers: They have a good option with Mexican style options. We order the loaded street corn fries and they were amazing. I got the shrimp taco special-very good because anything with pickled red onions is a win!

We were cold and waterlogged when we arrived at Central Waters for a rainy weekday lunch. Even then, the place was busy. It's easy to see why, there's a lot to like here. Let's start with the architecture, I think it's amazing that someone managed to convert an old church into this small brewery. The Taproom is in what was once the primary sermon chapel. It's absolutely beautiful. My hat's off to the designer. The beer selection is also great. My wife and I each went with samplers. Our favorites were the Peach Wheat Ale and the Bourbon Barrel Stout. And I believe it's always important to have something to eat while beering. There's a small Mexican kitchen, Trouble Makers, in the Taproom. The food was good, not great, but still tasty. I especially enjoyed the Street Corn Fries. It's a shame that our short stay in Milwaukee was virtually a rain-out. Still, Central Waters made our day a bit happier.

    Delicious beer!

Central Waters Brewing is probably my favorite brewery in the whole world. I've been to the flagship location in Amherst, but never to the Milwaukee location...until July 6, 2024. I went with a big group of friends and we had a great time! The brewery is housed in an old church (I'm assuming it has been deconsecrated). It is a very attractive space with beautiful windows and vaulted ceilings. They offer approximately 24 beers on tap. My friends and I all ordered and shared a wide variety. Everything was delicious! The place is clean, and service is excellent. I can't wait for my next visit!

My second visit to the Milwaukee location. When I first to Wisconsin, I did make a pilgrimage to the original brewery. Wonderful beers! I do love a barrel aged stout and more that they create. I'm so glad they have this nice space closer to me. It was a quiet Wednesday late afternoon. Mostly just the bartender and I. Very friendly. Let me be with my book which I always appreciate. Such a nice place to calm down after work day. The other time I went was on a Sunday. Very different feel.

Summer Nights was my favorite. The Honey and Cobbler were good too. Schnuck just wasn't my thing.

While visiting town, this was my favorite brewery. I had a flight and a couple full glasses while here. The bartender was informative about the building's history and the beers. Summer Nights was my favorite beer here. They also have a food vendor on site. I had the loaded fries, which were quite good.

My boys and I rolled in on a Sunday evening, we were in awe of the exterior...what to do with an old abandoned church? Turn it into a modern and marvelous brewery of course! Where there were once pews in the sanctuary are now high top tables and stools. Where the preacher and choir once sang, is now a small stage for live music and entertainment. In the back is the bar, with what seemed to be over 20 beers on tap, and another 20 available in bottles in cans. Lots of stouts too, my favorite! Friendly barman, warm ambience, great beer, and a perfect place to end chill Sunday night.

The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned -- light enough to enjoy every bite but hearty enough to feel like a real comfort meal. Service was great with a beverage and food line. We also ordered the original and spicy cheese curds, with a soft pretzel. Highly recommend! The homemade ranch deserves its own shoutout. It's rich, tangy, and clearly made in‑house. Easily one of the best ranch dips I've had, and it paired perfectly with the fish and fries. The French fries were golden, crunchy, and fresh -- no soggy fry in sight. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want next to a fish fry basket. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'd happily return to. Lakeside Brewery nails the classic Wisconsin fish fry experience.

They've got a solid beer selection, all the staples for a brewery in the US. They've also have a menu with bar staples, including the aforementioned cheese curds, which were delicious - hot and lightly battered, not fried past all recognition. The space is nice, there's a spacious hall with plenty of seating and a multilevel patio in the back with nice views.

It wasn't too busy so we were able to get some booth seats- we had some brisket rolls and elote corn for appetizers and they were sooo good, the rolls had a nice spice to them! I got their Friday fish fry while my boyfriend got the jalapeño popper burger and we loved our entrees! The battering of the fish fry is def one of my favorites in the area, and my bf loved their burger! My bf (a beer lover) said this place has been one of his favorite breweries he's been to in the MKE area! I had the Wisconsinitis while my boyfriend got their barley beer Deeply Rooted and he was looooved the barley beer! He was sad when they couldn't bottle it up and I don't think triple tap sells it bottled or may be out! Otherwise- such a good dinner, we'll be back!

They have a couple of different areas, and the one towards the back had a private event (birthday party). To me it feels more like the name, a Taproom with a Kitchen. It has a good selection of adult beverages and a small, but decent selection of food. The menus are all online, and you go to the bar to order (they have servers to bring you the food). Got a round of drinks (Sangria, Marguaritas, and Old Fashioned). They were all good. For food, we started with an order of the Cheese Curds. They came out hot, with the chili honey sauce drizzled on top, with a side of ranch. They were good, but could have benefited from being cooked longer (some were soggy or cheese not melted). For our dinners, we ordered the Shrimp tacos, Brisket tacos, Veggie Quesadilla, and the Hamburger. Everybody was satisfied, but nobody was all that excited. My Shrimp tacos were just okay. The flour tortillas tops were hard and the lower parts soft (as if they might have been sitting under a heat lamp. The pico de gallo was okay, but it had jalapenos, and I didn't think to ask. (But easy enough to pick out). The whole plate seemed a little thrown together. The burger was the best of the entrees that we ordered. For service, you need to go up and order. It took a while to get someone's attention, but in taking the order, they were friendly and helpful. The food took a reasonable amount of time, but during the meal nobody stopped back to ask how things are. Maybe because we didn't have an actual "server" we were left on our own. It was an okay experience, but not a place that I would see us coming back to.
