    First time here!

This was my first time at Copper Turtle and the espresso martini with vodka was the best one I've had in Milwaukee! I was there for their espresso martini special on Wednesday so I didn't try any other flavors since it was cheaper to get the special. The bar itself is very cute and clean. The bartender was super friendly and mixed our drinks quickly. I will say with the special the martini was $11 and they're originally $22 which I wouldn't pay often.

Copper Turtle is a fun vibe! Though "brewery" is in their title, I feel like cocktails are more of their thing. They have an solid list of signature drinks, all creative names and concoctions. They even have a whole section just for different types of espresso martinis! Shockingly I didn't try one of those, so I'll have to return to do so. My husband and I came in on a Tuesday night date night and the place was very full with what seemed to be some kind of work happy hour. Nonetheless, the bartenders took care of us quickly! I had the Garden Life which was a minty/pear-like sparkling gimlet. I'm a gin gal, so thought this was a goodie. It had fresh lime juice and prosecco making it nice and refreshing. My husband got the hibiscus tequila cocktail (can't recall the name), and noted that even though it had good flavor it seemed to have very little tequila. He happily moved on to a cider afterwards. We sat out on the patio which was delightful. The inside is definitely on the darker side but has great decor & ambiance! Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Stopped in after work for a drink and the bartender was fantastic! D was helpful in selecting a cocktail and meticulous in making the drinks. They have lots of different cocktails on the menu, seasonal and classics as well as beer and wine. My cocktail was delicious, I'll be back!

Nice little bar with great cocktails. We stopped for a drink after dinner. I was going to get a beer (they are also a brewery) but after watching the mixologist make a drink, I decided to get a cocktail. I had the campfire old-fashioned. It came with a marshmallow and the coffee liqueur was caffeine free. Winner Winner!

I really love the interior of the copper turtle, it feels very homey and it's super easy to find a seat at the bar and hear the person next to you. I tried the espresso martini and it was good, but not my favorite item on the menu. I felt that there was a smokeier taste that I was not expecting or used to. Needless to say, we finished the cocktails but not necessarily where I would order this again.

Went here mainly because the name sounded fun and it was a brewery I hadn't been to before. I'm happy to say they were packed on a Saturday night. My friend and I sat at my preferred spot of the bar, which meant we could watch all the cocktails get mixed and talk to the bartenders. There were definitely some fun ingredients being used! The two spots at the bar also happened to be the only spots left in the place. The place is listed as a brewery, but there are only 3 beers on tap. The cool thing is that the beers are tapped straight from the copper barrels that they are brewed in. To add to the drink options, they have an extensive, fun, and fancy cocktail menu. I'd estimate most 75% to 80% of people there that night were ordering cocktails. Since I saw it as a brewery first, my friend and I ordered two different beers. The zero fox given was listed as a dark lager, but it was the lightest tasting one I've ever had. Very drinkable and didn't weight you down. The lottie dottie almost tasted more like a kombucha, which was something we both really liked. Again a very light taste, but complex enough flavor that it could be an anytime of year beer. Definitely recommend this place. It has a great date night atmosphere and there are options in the drinks for everyone. I really want to come back and try some of their cocktails next. My only regret is that I wasn't able to get a beer glass with their logo on it. The hop turtle with wheat flippers is one of my favorite logos!

This place is so different than any bar I've ever been to, the decor inside is so cute and I feel like they're really doing something new with the cocktail scene. I will say our bartender wasn't overly personable but they were very knowledgeable about the menu and was very helpful finding cocktails! I ended up having a match cocktail and truthfully.... I hated it lol but it wouldn't stop me from coming back! There were plenty of options and I went out of my comfort zone and ended up not loving it.. that's my fault! I highly recommend

Super chill vibe. I love the copper tanks. They only had one of their own beers on tap when I was there. Have a great cocktail menu as well. I was there on a late night mid week in June. Outdoor seating available. Friendly service.

My gf and I stopped in on Sunday before Memorial Day and enjoyed a few cocktails. The space has a great ambiance and has a patio and indoor section within the third ward. It's a great spot to try new cocktails and start your day or end for a nice night cap. She enjoyed an espresso martini that had a slight kick with tajin and Tabasco which was an interesting taste that meshed well and I had a campfire old fashioned. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be back again.

Even though The Copper Turtle is shifting from a brewery to more of a cocktail bar, I got to try their Wisconsin Sipper--a light, easy-drinking golden ale that hit the spot. Michaela was awesome, fun, welcoming, and clearly knows her stuff behind the bar.

Inviting bar in the Third Ward. We chose it as it was close to one of the Summerfest entrances and were well taken care of. Harrison was our server/bartender and he took good care if us. After a couple of in-house beer samples, me and one of my friends landed on the lime lager and the amber. Both beers were perfect options on a hot day. There are a number of cocktails on the menu and I was surprised to see carajillo as an option. It hit the spot - well balanced and mild Licor 43 in the background. I did notice a fellow patron receive a drink with a smoked marshmallow so the cocktails are wide and varied. If/when I'm back in Milwaukee, I'll be sure to stop by.

One of the best Espresso Martinis I've had and watching the bartender make it was such a delight! Patrick had quite the showmanship and kept us entertained!

Service and cocktails were amazing! We almost didn't walk to this place and I'm so glad we did. Our favorite spot on our out of town adventure.

Short pours and what kind of bar does not have pineapple juice. Nice space though but just not enough. Also way over priced

But parking is paid parking on the street, with spots hard to find. Once the parking situation is resolved, things are great. The vibes inside was awesome - very open, with lots of seating. There seems to be tons of seating options, and outdoor seating as well for when the days are warmer. And for a brewery, the most important thing? The beer, of course! And it was good. We've had their beer before and have always like them. It was great getting some more on draft. Agro pop IPA Yummy!! Panther pale ale OK, but not my fave. I wouldn't get it again. Cheese curds $14 These were delicious, but it did get salty after munching through the plate. We were limiting ourselves to just one drink, and needed more drinks or another food item to mediate our tastebuds. I'd order again with a proper meal or with more booze. Service was super nice, though not quite polished, which I don't mind at all. Points for a nice smilze!

But since I wasn't getting the happy hour special, I had a Piña colada. It was amazing, the bartender Blair made it to perfection. And I could quite literally say it was the cherry on top to my day. The wings are spectacular so they were a must. And I may be teetering on the scale to say that the dry rub is my favorite instead of the classic bbq. I also tried their fried pickle fries for the first time, I was skeptical since I'm not a fan of Texas Roadhouse fried pickles. Nope these could easily be a swap for regular fries. Not to mention these pickles remind me of the fresh pickles you buy from the fridge at the grocery store. Line dancing was a hit, another mixed crowd. Pleasant energetic and welcoming atmosphere. Even the host and waiters seem to hype it up, particularly if you come in with cowgirl boots. They opened up the garage door that let in a perfect breeze and the view was spectacular since it was a clear sunny forecast of a day.
