I hate to leave negative reviews, especially for local, family owned businesses, but I thought that someone could benefit from my honest review and this is the perfect platform to do so. My sister passed away last October 2019 and we needed something right away and my grandmother recommended this business, so due to her wonderful experience, I gave them my business. Long story short - my sister is still left without a marker for her grave. My mother has inquired 2 or 3x with the same response - Sorry, the company took 2 weeks off for the holidays, so they're running behind schedule (Pre COVID-19). As soon as it comes in, we'll notify you. I was very hopeful that we'd receive the marker within the 8-12 weeks timeframe, but 8 months later, we're still waiting for the marker OR a monthly follow-up. I imagine with the COVID -19 pandemic, this will put them even further out. $5,970.51 paid upfront with nothing but a temporary marker. I am deeply saddened by my experience and the lack of correspondence. I understand that I'm probably not the only person impacted - but it sure feels like it when you don't see any reviews of others speaking out or you haven't received any follow-ups. We shouldn't have to reach out for an update. I feel like the company should be applying pressure on the company responsible for producing the markers and provide monthly updates until the marker arrives. At this point, I'm not sure that we'll receive her marker this year. read more

Some of the older headstones have been damaged and that's a sad thing. This is a large cemetery, taking up six to eight city blocks. It is divided into sections known as "Old," "Western," and "Central" which date back to the early and mid-1800's. Most of the roads in the cemetery are driveable and I was able to park in the part of the cemetery with the hillside where the oldest headstones are located. It is pretty but the grounds are a bit uneven in some places. Watch your step and be aware that this is an active cemetery so also be respectful. There so many thoughtful touches, a pathway for my dads wheelchair, mulch barriers from my neighbors wild flowers, storage for our kayaks. The transformation was huge, it's like a whole new house. Gairy was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and very responsive throughout the process. Pricing was also very reasonable for the amount of work completed. We're extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend them.

Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.
