Beautiful old fashioned place. Lorraine is 102 yrs old, and is still running it. What a step back in time, and history.

The woman at the back, near the old stove reminded me of a funny, loving Auntie.

He always has a smile on his face. By the end of our first night, we felt like regulars. My girlfriend and I first went in there because it is very close to our house. For a lesbian couple small town bars are not always the most welcoming places. We showed up around midnight, after a movie. There were about 6 other patrons. I headed for the ladies room. Some guy at the bar was like," hey that's the ladies room!" I stuck my head out the door and said," I know, thanks." When I came out he apologized for his mistake, bought me a shot and the rest is history. Every night at Ed's we always meet interesting people. We feel very fortunate to have a neighborhood bar that is so great, and is within stumbling distance of home.

The unruly behavior from some of the patrons, including people arguing and causing disturbances out in the streets, has been incredibly disruptive and frightening for my family. We are trying to sleep at night because we have jobs and responsibilities in the morning, yet we are repeatedly being subjected to loud arguments and disturbances outside. It is especially upsetting when this behavior scares my children in our own home. I understand that bars can be busy and people are going to have a good time, but there needs to be some consideration for the families and residents who live nearby. This level of disruption is completely unacceptable and has seriously affected our quality of life. I sincerely hope the owners and management take responsibility for what is happening outside their establishment and address it immediately. If this continues, I hope the city seriously considers whether this business belongs in a residential area at all. We deserve to feel safe and be able to sleep peacefully in our own homes.

Bartenders are friendly and drinks are great. The place is plastered with posters of upcoming events. The interior is classic dive bar with red lights, beer signs, circle booths, wooden bar and jukebox. I love being able to slide into a booth and watch everyone else stroll in to the bar. I try to support the occasional pop-up food booth outside to keep them coming back.

We've celebrated birthdays, holidays, and taken new friends and old here. The perfect meet up, place for one/done or sit and stay a while. Good value, great Little Hill Mai Thai. During the holidays they have one of the best hot buttered rums I've ever had. Most recently, we've enjoyed their live karaoke (you get to perform with a live band) which makes for a pretty epic experience, the addition of local bands performing in the back of the bar, and the pop up Double Barrel BBQ with the amazing Lorenzo cookin' it up (yes to the smash burger, grilled cheese, and chocolate chip dipped cookie). Dimmed lighting, curtained photo booth, booth/bar stool seating..simply the best. Recently popped in and noticed new napkins with their logo and pretty menus with new creative cocktails/fun, localish names. Looking forward to the future of this bar, rock on!
