The set up for a gymnastics meet does not allow parents to go around the side, so it is difficult to see the events in the back of the gym. Review only from experiences with *volleyball* tournaments. Plenty of parking. Venue inside is kept cool. (You should actually bring a sweater). They have some basic concessions and outside vendors for some goodies and merchandise. I took a star off because, despite the heavy admission prices they charge, not one filtered or water refill station. A "sports" venue should have the bare minimum. Water fountains are available, but athletes need the convenience of being able to refill their hydration source. read more

Cool sports venue - been here for multiple volleyball tournaments. It's fairly new and clean. They are well organized, plenty of space to hang and plenty of bathrooms, again that are clean! Will not spend another dime with RYZE! They lack integrity and ethics. They will never ensure teams are playing in the correct age/grade level. So your kids are at risk of getting hurt because they end up trying to go up against much older kids/grown men. And the referees see it's uneven and do nothing to protect the players. This is NOT ok in any way. Why would people pay for their kids to play when the game is rigged/unmatched from the beginning?! Makes no sense. If you voice a concern, nothing will be done because money is valued over everything. They will pretend to go verify but nothing is done. It's not rocket science to figure out someone taller than the referee with a mustache isn't 11-12. A parent on the opposing team literally admitted only two kids on the team were 12 and everyone was much older. So I will not give my money or time to RYZE again! This is actually negligent behavior and RYZE must think that those waivers mean participants waive their negligence but that is not the case. Add to all of this the price gouging and I am officially done with RYZE! read more

We came here over the weekend for a gymnastics meet and the facility was new and modern. There is a ton of other sports fields including volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, etc. We only went in the gym and you could tell it is normally used for basketball. There is a huge parking lot out front, most of which is gravel and so real order so people parked wherever and it wasn't a problem. We paid our entry fee. They did take cards, which is uncommon with these gymnastics meets so I was appreciative of that. The space was used optimally, and well-spaced. There were huge bleachers which gave everyone a good view and the awards area was well thought out. My only complaint is the the concessions were weak. The only real food was wraps and then chips, candy, and cookies. We were there all day and they definitely could have had extra revenue with all the people needing food who didn't want to leave to go get it. read more

Sporting event facility that host basketball and other sporting events. The basketball arena has 12 individual courts where 12 games can be simultaneously played. The courts are spaced in such a way as not to have much interference. Each court has bench seating for fans and parents.Each court has two game score boards...great facilities and they have free wifi!! This place is wow! Very new and huge grounds. We were there for a karate tournament in the spots complex and it was nice, clean and spacious. People playing beach vollyball, Lacross today. The facility is top notch and the community is getting bigger and bigger. They have plenty of space to work with and more restaurants, hotels, and even an excellence center are actively in the works. On the beach volleyball side the facility is well maintained, they hold events and pick-up play constantly, and the community is welcoming as well as competitive. The courts and sand are pure quality and the LED lights enhance the entire experience for sure. I see a lot of positives here and don't mind driving up from Buckhead to be a part of it's growth each week. Highly highly recommend you check it out for whatever sports you may be involved in. Tried to enjoy a baseball game and had an angry catcher threaten to shoot spectators in the stands. They allowed a bad umpire to throw out 10 people and stop a timed game while the catcher was allowed to continue to play. It is unacceptable that these kinds of things are allowed at Lakepoint, which I thought was a nice sports establishment. I will not be returning because it is clearly not safe. read more

My son attends a Baseball team (NextLevel) that uses the LakePoint Baseball facility and it really is top notch. Amazing turf fields, covered seating, nice dug outs, concession stands and plenty of parking. The place is well laid out with sufficient walking distance into the facility with nice landscaping. The lights are bright enough at night too. We have been really pleased with our training location here. read more

Not a soccer friendly facility. We played in a tournament last weekend on the softball/baseball fields. Yes, that is correct. There were empty soccer fields not being utilized for some reason when there was clearly time slots available to accommodate all the teams there. Benches were not provided to our teammates and the field was horrible for soccer players. Soccer field lines were hard to see and players were slipping and sliding on the baseball turf. The baseball mound was dangerous to our players. Fields were poorly numbered and it was challenging for disabled to get on the baseball field to watch their children play. Concessions were not open on both sides and no staff was there to greet us at the entrance to guide us to the appropriate fields. Bathrooms were filthy and soap/toilet paper were often empty. I do not recall seeing any employees during my 2 day time there, except the one lonely concession stand. Travel team families spend a lot of money and sacrifice our time. This was a huge disappointment and I do not recommend to the soccer community. read more

Loved this indoor place! They have a climbing wall area with a lot of different kinds of walls. This place is huge! They have a bunch of video games for kids. Also my favorite part was the yoghurt ice scream place and the pizza restaurant. You can literally spend a whole day here. read more

This is a great secret that not enough know about!!! We went with 9 people and had a blast. All of us did the outdoor putt putt and some did the climbing walls. It was fun to watch my fiance who is 50 scale these amazing walls. He even made it to the top of the stairway to heaven. The indoor glow in the dark putt putt was a little lame, but as a group we all still made it fun. There is a full service bar and it looked liked food, but we didn't eat. GO HERE. It would be a fun holiday afternoon when the kids get a little crazy. read more

I am at the PBR Lakepoint baseball facility. We have played 3 tournaments here in June. The facility is beautiful, well thought out and might be worth the exorbitant tournament prices EXCEPT...the admission fees are high....and no coolers or outside food/beverages are allowed in the facility. To compound the issue, the concession stands are closed. If you are going to expect people to sit out in 100 degrees weather and not allow outside drinks, you should have fully functioning concession stands! You can and SHOULD do better! read more

This is a nice, brand new facility for a variety of indoor sports. I came for a gymnastics meet - the facility was clean (even the bathrooms), easy to navigate, and the employees were friendly. The only thing that could be better are the concessions. It seemed like we were there at a prime time on Saturday but they ran out of or weren't serving the most desirable items like pretzels and pizza - that pretty much just left candy and hot dogs. read more

Some of the activities like the Laser Maze are not very well explained and when I asked the teenager behind the counter I got a very short answer and he went back to his conversation. Everything about this place is just disappointing. The parking - pay $5 to park in a mud pit!! No outside food allowed; the concessions are horrible AND over priced. JUNK food that you have to feed your athlete because you have no other option and no time to leave and get back between games. It's hard to believe they are catering to athletes here. The staff is out right rude. Every time we are here. Every.single.time. Yet, we have no choice but to put up with this because our tournaments are scheduled here. We were here for a lacrosse event. The facility is amazing and growth plans appear impressive. Bathrooms are good, bleachers at each field are good. However this weekend the concession options were not as expected. We were told light meals and healthy options. On Saturday they offered only popcorn and granola bars so our teens had to walk down to the gas station to find Subway, during their lunch break, not a great idea. Then on Sunday they did have hotdogs but that was it. Bring food unless you are sure of what they will offer. read more

Beautiful facility, but...had to wait in line 30 minutes to pay $50 each for our daughter's basketball tournament, resulting in missing half of the first game. Many others in line were missing their children's games also...not a happy crowd. Lakepoint had an open admission window that they chose not to open, instead staffing a granola bar table and many other staffers standing around chatting. With lines all the way down the side of the building, I would think a well-run organization would utilize it's capabilities to get it's customers through the door... And charging $5/day to park on top of it all...disappointing. read more
