This area is covered in case of rain, so have no fear. It is outdoors and had a nice breeze. There is also a fireplace for those cold nights as well. The dance floor is huge and there are many photo opps around the property, that you are welcome to roam. They let you use your own vendors that come onsite from what the bride and groom told us.

They do a great job of helping you set expectations, and they handle basically everything except for a photographer and your favors. They are incredibly kind. Being a same sex couple we did not know what to expect. The Conservatory did an amazing job of treating us like everyone else, even going as far as editing their forms to groom/groom. We were treated like any other opposite sex couple and to us, that meant more than anything. They are clear and concise in what is included, what it will cost and there are NO surprises at the end. They made our day special. We were not rushed the day of, and the coordinators took special care of my husband and I as well as our family. If you're going in not sure what to expect, or if you know exactly what you want, the people here are amazing. They also provide the catering, and the food was top notch. The service provided was excellent. They sent us with lovely to go boxes of food, and a bottle of the delicious champagne from our toast.

I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I also don't like paying a decent amount for bad food in this economy. Their prices are very reasonable, and the wedding packages include so much more than many venues offer. My wedding package included a ceremony & reception, dinner buffet & non-alcoholic beverage, event coordinator, flowers, cake, set up and cleaning fees, gratuities, and taxes. I also liked that I had the option of purchasing all of the alcohol myself (huge cost savings!). I chose a few decorating upgrades, and The Grande (and its sister location The Conservatory) have so many options for decor on hand at very reasonable prices. The venue is beautiful and had lots of great locations for pictures. It was also nice that there are several outdoor locations to choose from for the ceremony, included a covered outdoor area. The bridal suite was comfortable and spacious. My only (very minor) complaint is that the groom's area is a little underwhelming. Everything went so smoothly during the event. This event venue offers a beautiful and versatile space for special occasions. We arrived a half an hour before the birthday boy (who turned 55) was to arrive. All the guests were instructed to park in the back of the building which offers plenty of parking spaces for the size of the venue. The venue was beautifully decorated, from the entrance to the tables, to the ballons, and party decor. The layout is spacious enough for tables for brunch or dinner and then the dance floor area where the DJ booth was had enough room to get our groove on. Nikki Hunt was a gracious event coordinator. You could tell she takes pride in the venue. She made sure all the guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. The level of service provided was top-notch and contributed to the overall positive experience. And the birthday boy was completely surprised!!! He had no idea what he was walking into. Thanks to his beautiful wife, it was an event to remember.
