I used…read moreWeatherstone Inspections for my other house and they were extremely meticulous to include every issue they found in their report no matter how big or small. My Weatherstone Inspection report was 46 pages. My Home Team Inspection report was 15 pages. Home Team did not go onto my new roof. Yes, it is a new roof, but the gutter company I hired found that the gutters needed to be cleaned and the roof had misplaced nails - a minor issue - but could nonetheless lead to leaks later. The gutter company was kind enough to fix that issue with my service but that should have been indicated by a more thorough inspector. There were other issues later detected that could have been fixed by the previous owner during the closing process had they been noted in the inspection report. Small issues can still add up to large costs for a handyman to fix. Within thirty minutes, my handyman found that six sets of window blinds didn't work and needed to be replaced, two door locks needed to be fixed, and there were more mortar cracks than the one that was indicated in the report. The sellers only fixed the mortar crack indicated in the report, but not the other ones that were obvious at the back of the house. I also had a broken vented glass block window that was not indicated in the report. I can only hope that these were the only issues overlooked and there aren't major problems left undetected.
