In the process of buying a house, my realtor recommended several people she had previously worked with. I decided to check Facebook for inspectors closer to the area, and the word of mouth about WIN Home Inspection was excellent. So, I reached out to get a quote from them. The price was very competitive. On the day of the inspection, the inspectors, Steve and Daniel, arrived a little early. They divided the work, and although it took some time to complete, it was clear they were very thorough and attentive to detail. They were friendly and respectful throughout the entire process. They didn't try to upsell any additional services. We asked about adding a radon test, and they matched the price our realtor had mentioned. Both inspectors were very knowledgeable. Even before sending the official report, they pointed out any major issues as well as smaller items I could handle myself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The report arrived quickly, by the end of the day. It was very detailed, full of photos, and included helpful tips.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their service also includes a warranty for anything that wasn't identified as a problem during the inspection. We used Win home inspection to complete a sewer scope for the house we purchased. They found roots in the pipe that we were able to have cleaned out before closing. They had very good quality equipment with great videos and photos. We recently had WIN HOME INSPECTIONS perform an inspection on the house we are buying. They were a recommendation from our realtor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was sold with the call to schedule that appointment, as Joy (who took the call on Mother's Day afternoon as these are always such an "urgent" need) explained everything, without pushing any extra services.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked for a Radon Test and Sewer scope, and she was quick to explain why that was a great idea (as a very large number of homes in this area do have Radon levels above preferred.) Joy made it out to the home one day in advance to set up the Radon instrument, therefore we had results at the time of the inspection for over a 24-hour period. Very helpful for both the buyer and seller. Jeff and Steve had arrived early and conducted drone surveillance to assess the roof and other attributes of the property. Once again, enabling a faster and less invasive event for the current owners. Once my wife and I arrived, having 2 inspectors there (as being over a set square footage, there were more things to review) also sped it up, and permitted each of us to follow along. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were both fine with having the company and provided input on any questions we had.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Further, they offered insights, not only to the results they were getting, but also to good practices. Items such as, the current owners did this right so it is in your best interest to continue it, and watch out for this to occur and here is how to assure it won't happen. So, it was a crash course in good homeownership. They did not rush out after the inspection was done. Both stayed and discussed what they had observed. Answering our questions about what they saw, and even fielding questions not directly associated with their work, but to maintenance. Taking the time to discuss non-problems that could become that if not maintained. The full report was in my inbox within six hours of the scheduled start time of the inspection. With ample attached photos and videos (of sewer and such). This made completing our offer on the home very easy and sped up the process of the purchase to as short a timeframe as possible. Both Jeff and Steve were professional, friendly and as mentioned, extremely informative. This is not our first home purchase, so I can tell you, the others merely did their walkthrough, typed up a report and sent it out. My wife and I cannot recommend WIN and their team any higher. So much so that we are selling our current home to our son, so no inspection is needed. However, we are going to have them do the full job to assure us we are not leaving him any problems. read more

I put an offer on a house and everything was going well until the original inspector I hired quit leaving me in limbo. Other inspectors pulled through but only had availability the following week. Jeff came to the rescue listening to my panicked voice and even moved up our original appointment to accommodate and help calm my nerves. I received vm with a message asking to be patient that my call would be answered within a few hours. I got no call back. I called WIN and Joy answered. She was informative and was able to schedule on short notice. I received confirmation of the upcoming visit twice which I appreciate.
