Sept 22,2025 I called in and Spoke to Matt who was amazing…read morewith giving me the information and quote for a Front Differential for my BMw X3, he said I could have it shipped to the Scarborough Location the next day or I could pick it up in Port Hope. I opted to pick it up as it was early in the day and I could have it back and my car worked on right away. When I go to Port Hope Location the staff was friendly but I had to wait what felt like about an hour before the part was picked and brought to the front as it wasn't ready when I go there. After finally getting the part I drove back to Toronto only to find out the part I was given was the Rear Differential rather that the front differential which is what was on the invoice and the one I ordered. I immediately called Matt and customer server who apologized and said they can send the correct one the next day and they would pick up the wrong part at the shop and asked for address. The next morning I thought it was already being shipped but I called at 11am just to confirm and was told it wasn't shipped out since I had picked up the part I would have to pick up the correct part. I was so upset and said if I didn't call no one was going to call me and tell me this, so I ended up Driving to Port Hope again from my place in North York and when I get they customer service told me I would need to pay for the New one and get a refund when I return the old one. The old one was Downtown at the shop because it was supposed to get picked up after they dropped off the new one. I wouldn't have had time to first drive downtown and drop straight to port Hope so I could get the part back to my mechanic ASAP. So I paid for the new one and left, I'm so upset that I wasn't offered any compensation for this mistake on their part and wasted Time and Gas and loss of wages due to this error and all I was offered was Free Shipping of $25 when I went and pick up the item in the first place because I need it right away. Lastly instead of picking up the item at the shop they only offered me to drop it off at Scarborough to get my refund on the wrong part and since it was on my Credit card it would take 5 business days for me to receive that back. All in all it was the worst experience for me of time and money wasted on their error. I probably will not be getting any other parts from here for fear of a mistake is made it would be made right by customer service and would definitely not be referring anyone else here for parts. SCAMMERS AND SABOTAGE!!!…read more Never would I EVER recommend someone to go to this SCAMMERS garage!! I was stranded there about a month ago when my 2005 Mini Cooper S was over heating on my way back from Toronto to Ottawa. This guy has a tow truck driver who intercepts the police intercoms to pick up other drivers before the requested tow truck driver from the police gets to you first. He plays the nice guy and tries to make seem like he cares about whats happening all to soften the blow of how much you're about to get OVER CHARGED!! For an engine cooling fan which reguallarly would cost $150 NEW cost me $250, and a part like that literally takes 30 minutes to put on took them 4 HOURS!!! Charged me another $250 dollars for labor! Not only that he then tells me my car feels like its lost some power AFTER he was done with it. (Which while I was on my way back there was no such issue, just the over heating). I feel as though this guy just takes full ADVANTAGE of people who get stuck on their way back and just charges them as much as he can because he knows damn well that they have no other choice! Now about the SABOTAGE and make sure you guys are prepared to go to court for this one!! ONE WEEK LATER the cars alternator dies. Why? I wondered for a whole month as I waited for my uncle who's a professional mechanic while he was changing the alternator saw that there was some WIRES THAT WERE CUT! He took pictures and sent them to. So not only do I have several witnesses lined up, I have evidence that if it was already premeditated, it was not a well done job that PORT HOPE AUTO SERVICE has provided me with at PREMIUM PRICE!!! This is completely unacceptable, I've contacted the labor board, and my lawyer. If I don't get a full refund of the $600 of the poor job done I will make sure to press charges and see that this SCAMMERS CASH GRABBING GARAGE IS CLOSED!!!!!!

They clearly covered the rust with paint. The rear hatch doesn't lock, and the muffler fell off today. I already had them replace the battery and a connector because the alarm would go off all night, and they had screwed a connector that was too large into the battery post. I definitely overpaid, and would never recommend them to anyone.

Upon being threatened with OMVIC, the better business bureau and the MTO, they agreed to do the work and only swapped out the Rear Crossmember, hence making any complaint to MTO impossible. They reattached the toe links to the cross member with the improper bolts, and left me with a control arm that had a completely worn out bushing, and the front drivers side wheel bearing was no good. This means that a proper alignment was IMPOSSIBLE. They even left an engine light on, and tried to tell me it was ok to be sold like that. These guys plated the vehicle in a completely unsafe condition and told me it was a reliable vehicle that would most certainly last me the first two years of my apprenticeship. Upon my complaint they turned around and told me I should have bought something more reliable. Next time I will, and you should too - by not going here.
