This place has a multitude of stuff to grab for snacks or to take as gifts. There's all different kinds of popcorn, treats, and a chocolate counter where you can fill your own box of chocolates, as well as a coffee stand. It's got a lot of great stuff but it is a tight squeeze inside. This was perfect to get my caffeine fix & to grab an assorted box of chocolates (which were very yummy). The staff was super helpful with picking out chocolates and paying and the ladies working the coffee were quick & efficient. There's lots of parking and a nice scenic point of the lake from their parking lot.

Cracker Jack lover for the candy covered peanuts alone, I bought a bag of Caramel Cashew. I noticed that there weren't any bags missing from that shelf, whereas I noticed the other shelved popcorn was being purchased by customers. So I dig into the bag of Caramel Cashew and didn't get any cashews. I took the bag home and emptied it out to get to the nuts which I figured were at the bottom. No such luck. In fact I counted 7 cashews, none of which had an iota of caramel. Looks like they grabbed a bag of caramel popcorn and threw a few cashews in it. Disappointed

This one was 8 hours away from me as I went to Joplin, MO for an art retreat but there is one an hour from my house that I have never stopped at. I will have to check it out to compare them. However this is not just a candy store. This is a great store to stop at for a gift. Soup mix kits, spices, jellies, and hot sauces are popular items. They also sell Tervis, Mizzou items, and novelty gifts. The section I liked the best was full of lake and beach house decorations. Ozark Maid sells San Sabra Peach Pecan Amaretto Jelly. This Jelly is hands down the best thing on Earth. You can use it on everything from toast, biscuits, and scones to Ice Cream. Trust me, you want to pick up a jar today! I had a packet of Chocolate Covered Pretzels and another packet containing a Chocolate Covered Oreo. Typically I was a glass of cold milk with my Oreo, but this one from the Candy Factory was perfect just being dipped in chocolate. The pretzels gave me a nice mix of savory and sweet. The two pack had one dipped in Milk Chocolate and another in, White Chocolate. I surprised myself, by liking the White Chocolate best. It seemed to have a sweeter taste, which went well with the salty pretzel. While out exploring downtown Columbia, I stopped by to give their Chocolate Covered Strawberries a tasting. OMG - so good. The chocolate shell had a good crunch and the berry was super juicy. I feel bad that I did not, take a picture of the deliciousness. The customer service was attentive and the associates were eager to recommend their favorites. If you love chocolate, you gotta stop by Candy Factory.

Peanut butter pie was so good! The peanut butter part was light and creamy and the crust is always good in their pies! They're all always very nice, friendly and helpful, and I just love going in there. I wasn't sure if the deli would be open when I got there at 8:30, but they open at 8 with the store, so I was very happy about that.
