Personally I chose the back cozy corner next to their fish tank. The staff was wonderful, checking in if I needed anything and helping me with the menu. When I was leaving they wished me a great day and thanked me for stopping in. You'll definitely get the personal experience here. The menu is great, you'll find classic drinks that you would expect, but also unique creations. They even have a box of customer drink recipes that you can browse and choose from. There is so much to like about Lakes Latte - huge space to work and relax, small cups to sample their coffees first before you buy, a little side store showcasing fun gadgets and souvenirs, jams made locally, friendly staff, etc. This is one of those places where you feel cozy and come as you are, not pretentious at all, you want to stay awhile. And so we did, almost every day as we were staying near the area! Their menu offerings are pretty expansive, lots of breakfast and lunch options to accompany your caffeinated beverage. I ordered a toasted bagel + cream cheese to go one of the days and it unfortunately was a little on the cold/lukewarm side. Not ideal but I can overlook that given the overall charm and comfort of the place. Just will be mindful to try something else besides a breakfast item next time. read more

Got coffee and a bagel with salmon and cream cheese. Nothing earth-shattering in the food department. It's a counter service setup where you order your food, and they deliver it to your table, so there's no traditional table service. What a cool rustic space when you walk in. I love the recycled furniture that creates tons of comfortable seating and there are live plants everywhere. I also liked the menu and how they offer build your own options. Lots of options for food and drinks. I will definitely give this place another try, as on my visit I ordered a breakfast sandwich which should have been hot when served and it was ice cold...cold fried eggs and toasted bread are not so great. Hoping for better next time as my husbands sandwich was hot and delicious! I should mention they did refund me for the cold sandwich. read more

Stopped by Lakes Latte on Sunday morning when we accidentally got to church an hour early. I tried their 3rd Street chai latte, which was delicious. They also serve Oregon Chai, which I have had before, but the 3rd Street chai had much better tea flavor. It was still sweet, but the flavors of the tea and spices came through so much better. We also orderd one of their scones, which was peanut butter banana. It was delicious and moist with chunks of peanuts and peanut butter chips sprinkled throughout. My Mom and I visit Lakes Latte every year when we time-share at Breezy Point. This place oozes relaxation, excellent beverage selections, pastries, and sandwiches. Love the fresh scones! Mom loves the cold coffee drinks. This time we ordered sandwiches which we dived into instead of taking pictures. The staff greets you with a smile and is always friendly and patient. As a hardened Starbucks junkie, after 3 days at the lake I needed a fix. Yelpers helped me find this great place. It's spacious and cozy at the same time. Great coffee selections and excellent sandwiches.Free WiFi too. Its Monday after the 4th of July and there are almost 20 patrons yet it's still quiet, relaxing and doesn't feel crowded at all. Incredible wraps! We stopped in while biking on the Paul Bunyan Trail for a quick bite. Great service, friendly people, tasty food, & wifi. It was great to have plenty of seating and air conditioning too. The Turkey Bacon Wrap was perfect and just the right amount split between two. Came with chips and a pickle spear.
