The lobby is spacious, with plenty of seating, a coffee bar area, a large fish tank and a wall full of awards and plaques. We didn't make an appointment, or call ahead - we simply walked in and were immediately greeted by staff. My sister explained what she wanted and they were able to squeeze her into an appointment right then and there, which was great. Once we checked in, we sat down in the lobby and a few minutes later were called to walk back to one of their treatment rooms. We then waited for someone to come in to start the process, which included asking questions about various fillers, the process, the lip club package and get her before photographs taken... this process took about 15 minutes total, and varies per consultation based on the questions you have. Next, the provider came in and went into depth answering questions about how long the filler lasts and what to expect, which all questions were thoroughly answered. My sister had the option to get them done right then and there but opted to schedule an appointment a little further out in Spring to be summer ready. From the amazing customer service from everyone we encountered, to the in depth explanations of the process - to two people that have no idea how it works, I definitely recommend Allure!

They have a couple of offices in this building and my review is for Suite 121. When I made the appointment, I was surprised at how quickly I was able to get in for my appointment. I thought for sure it would be a month or two. The skin cancer screening was thorough, and I was made to feel comfortable while my body was checked from head to toes. There were a couple of moles and bumps that I didn't care for so they were quickly frozen and I'm happy to have them gone. Everybody there is very friendly and welcoming, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dermatology services. Lastly, I posted some information with pictures. Feel free to take a look. The important info can help you with keeping your skin healthy.

If I have a 10:00 appointment, why is the world would it be 11:20 before I see the doctor?? It's because they don't know how to schedule, just bring everyone in and let them wait. Received a bill by email. Nothing their billing handled by the office. Sent me to a website that could not recognize who I was. Called the office, sent to 3rd party billing - 25 minute wait for them to answer. Listen to these reviews - and go somewhere else!

Hello, I don't…read morerecommend Dr. Heather Orkwis based on my experience. It all started when I was having an issue with my skin after using a product. Dr. Orkwis prescribed me a few medications that didn't resolve the issue. I went back to her and requested additional treatment until we can find the right meds that work. Because with dermatology patients respond differently to the same medications and treatments can vary based on ethnic skin type. Dr. Orkwis advised me that she felt that the meds should've worked and that she wanted to do a skin test. I didn't want to jump to a skin procedure because I know it was some correlation between the product and my skin reaction but I didn't know how to solve it. The next thing I know she left the room and sent another employee in the room to tell me she wasn't going to prescribe me any medicine. Which I thought was unprofessional. I had a couple issues and because I didn't consent to invasive skin test she wouldn't help me any further. I wasted an office visit fee with her it was a useless appointment. As an adult I have the right to be involved in my treatment it's my body. Also, invasive test on skin normally will leave permanent scarring which is why unless it's absolutely necessary it shouldn't be performed. Afterward, I scheduled an appointment with a different physician at a totally different practice. I'm so glad I did. The doctor was very nice, diverse and attentive and listened to my concerns and took the time to ask intelligent questions to investigate the issues. The new doctor gave me an exam and figured out my skin issue. I was actually allergic to the product I was using on my skin throughout the year and I didn't know it. The doctor then advised me that the few meds Dr. Orkwis prescribed me shouldn't have been prescribed and that's why they didn't work. I was being treated for issues that I didn't have. New doctor wrote a prescription for me to apply and within 2 weeks my skin issue was resolved. That's why choosing the right doctor is so important because you don't want to simply give your insurance card/ alternate method of payment for someone to make a profit. You should be able to get assistance when visiting the doctor that's what a doctor is suppose to be there for helping and welcoming all patients. This isn't just me with those concerns. Previous reviews from other patients that I seen Dr. Heather Orkwis had similar concerns in past reviews. I would strongly advise you to get a 2nd opinion before allowing her to perform any invasive skin test/ procedures on you. Unless, you know without a doubt you need it. Do your research and try to choose a good dermatologist who actually cares about all patients and genuinely wants to help without quickly giving up on you. I hope this review helps. Have a wonderful day.

October 31, 2023…read more Review #446 Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center (LENT) has been providing Me with Otolaryngology health care since the 90's back at their previous office near Eastland Mall. This Macomb Township location is My Spring & Fall office when my allergies flare up and sometimes resulting with fluid in my ears leading to vertigo and then also sinusitis. The Lakeshore ENT Specialists I've known are polite and professional and also this practice offers 6 convenient locations in Michigan. The lobby offers many seats with magazines and quiet areas as well after signing in with receptionist and verifying insurance. I've been told that there are different check-in and check-out staff that rotate their jobs. I've read here on Yelp with 5 other posted reviews to be low or unsatisfactory comments about this location. I read one 5 star review that was in 2022 with a great experience. Therefore My Review is honest and based on My many years as a patient with better experiences and the two doctors I see are helpful and knowledgeable plus the nurse assistances I seen. The check-in window and also check-out area have attentive and polite staff working and I've never been unhappy with either areas. In the past I've seen Dr. Rice, Dr. Dzul, Dr. Brammer all who have retired. I am currently a patient for 2 years with ear specialist Dr. Cameron Heilbronn and Allergist & Nasal Dr. Michael Fozo since Sept 6th, 2023. Both Doctors are knowledgeable, caring and have given Me helpful advice for my Spring and Fall allergies. They listen to my symptoms and I feel at ease and confident that they will help me to get well and maintain my health. I have posted a photo of the brochure with full descriptions of all the ENT specialists and their practices that they help to assist children, youth and adults with their needed care. Also if a patient needs a hearing test which I get yearly they have a Audiologist that will assist with it. When I needed a CT Sinus Scan it was performed and covered by NY insurance in the same building downstairs in Radiology. So great connection and communication! I am pleased and grateful to be in Quality care of these two doctors at LENT for the past 20 + years! I recommend this practice and location. Booking appointments can be either by phone or from their website too.
