This wasn't any problem for Dr. Porter. She was very confident and encouraging while testing him. We thought that we might retest on him before we bought new glasses, just to make sure. This was while I was alone in a room with him. Once someone else walked in and was watching, he switched right over to being polite - as if I didn't deserve basic human respect unless someone else was watching! The whole situation was quite bizarre and I am sure this optometrist would not have dared to treat a man so badly! I will definitely not be seeing him again and I regret the waste of using my eye insurance for this appointment when I could've felt safe and respected by seeing someone else. Note: I have had good experiences at Rx optical all the other times I've been there, so not all their optometrists are like this. But apparently the Knapp/East Beltline location was the wrong place to go!
