The first part of the meeting was an hour of bowling, which I don't do as a rule. The bowling alley itself was clean, but very dated. Not sure why but I felt like I was in an 80s episode of a TV show or in Stranger Things, just a very dated vide. Based on bowling alleys I have gone to in Chicago, the equipment used to record our scores was very dated, but it worked. Sort of reminded me of the arcade games like Pac Man, with the limited graphics. There is a bar, but can't say it is a full bar because of the limitations of the available mixers and other items: no wine at all (I didn't even think of asking for bubbles because it is definitely not that kind of place). I ordered a Maker's Mark and lemonade that the bartender had on hand. The bartender was nice and took care of me. I tipped him and he seemed surprised and mentioned I didn't have to do it, but he really made my drinks nicely, so he earned it. Something to note: while they do run tabs and do tap/pay, you should open a tab, even if you think you might only get one drink. Each transaction is charged a fee and the bartender let me know that and it was greatly appreciated. It was nice that the venue allowed us to use the space for our meeting as well as bring in food for us to eat, so that was nice. There were quite a few families that showed up doing our time there and they were having a great time. If you are looking for a no frills night out without spending a lot of money, this is your jam.

They really should not be hosting laser tag parties larger than 5 people with the current equipment situation. We were told they had 18 vests available, but only about 6-8 were actually working consistently at any given time. To their credit, they did extend the play time to try to accommodate the equipment issues. However, it didn't really solve the problem when so many kids still had long wait times and didn't get to participate fully. The staff member managing the event was defensive when concerns were raised and explained they were "in a transition stage" and expecting new equipment in July. She stated she was frustrated too, but we were the ones paying for a service/event that was not functioning as promised. I would not recommend this venue for a laser tag party until the equipment issues are fully resolved.

The pizza looked OK, it's about the quality you'd expect from this kind of place. They brought out a wheel and the kid got to spin for some free tickets, which he loved. They brought out a bowling pin as a keepsake for everyone to sign which is another nice touch. I'll give credit to the staff, the guy interacting with our group did a great job hyping up the kids. I didn't get to check out the other amenities such as bowling and go-carts so I can't speak on them, but I've bowled here before and enjoyed myself. In the fall they do a haunted house. I was skeptical but honestly, because of Pinstripes, this may have been the best work party I've been to. I didn't see a lot of the place because I didn't visit the bar upstairs, and we were downstairs for our meeting-party. The meeting room is quite large and accommodated our group of 50 or so people easily. The food was really good too; we had some chicken, Mac and cheese, ribs, and more. The sliders weren't my favorite because they were really pink inside, so I skipped that. The other stuff I had was quite delicious. But the best part was the games. I mean I'm a board game enthusiast but have never played bocce and now I am wondering why not. It was so much fun. I mean I'm ready to buy a lawn set, or join a bocce league or whatever. The rules are simple but it's fun. They also have a really gorgeous patio area that another group was apparently going to be using, and that space is along the riverfront. I would be super glad if we came back to Pinstripes, to the extent that I'm going to make sure our VP knows how much we enjoyed it. There's no dedicated parking so you'll need to take a taxi or find a spot in a nearby lot. Spothero was great for that, since my spot was cheaper than the validated parking that Pinstripes offers.
