View driving out of the campground. There's a liquor store right next to the KOA, gotta love the humor, this is UTAH
    Marie I.

Really appreciate the text sent to us by KOA with clear instructions for checking in as we hadn't arrived during business hours. Also liked the rate & not having to unhitch as we left tve next day.

If you're looking for the cleanest, roomiest campground around, this may not be for you. But if you need a place to set up camp for a day or two as you're passing through the area, the Springville/Provo KOA will probably suffice. We rolled in Friday afternoon around 5:30. Check in was easy-the young lady at the front desk was friendly and pointed me in the right direction. Our site (410) was dirty when we pulled into it (a couple soda/drink bottles on the table, two dirty rags on the ground, an old doormat that was left behind and trash, including a razor, on the grass.) Not a great first impression. We noticed that the sites were fairly tight as well. We were able to put our slide out and awning out, but had there been people on either side of us, it would have been super close. There are bathrooms available-individual rooms with toilets and showers. But stay away from room #1-it is filthy and doesn't have a towel dispenser or hand dryer. So you're on your own for hand drying. All the rooms look to be pretty dated and could use a little updating. There are a lot of long term residents in the park, which can be hit or miss. In our experience, we actually made friends with a few of the residents and had no problem with anyone. People respected quiet hours and we didn't have any trouble with neighbors. The pool area looked nice, although we didn't swim. There is also a club house and a pavilion-also amenities that we didn't use, but appreciated were available. The trees are mature and there is some shade, although on a hot August day, the sun was beating down on us pretty good. Overall, this place has potential with just a little more attention to the cleanliness and upkeep. We will likely return to see our new friends who call this KOA their home.

This is floor to restroom. Shower is in here and so floor gets wet when you get out. Toilet is filthy.

The staff are pleasant. The play area is small. Nice gaming area room. The camping sites are are close together. The picnic table for the RV site is a one seat metal bench and table combo. The wifi is in and out. The shower and bath: there are 6 up at front facility and a combo of shower a toilet and a sink. These are unisex so there is a locked door but no I am not a fan. There is another comfort station I have not visited. There was water all on the floor as someone took a shower and got water on the bathroom floor. Dangerous walking. The toilet seat paper cover was empty. No paper towels, only an old wall dryer, so you walk out handling the handle after people you don't know if they wash their hands after using the restroom. We look for camping with full comfort stations so we can use the restrooms and showers. Our site is small but pleasant and backs up to a south fence. I am happy with it.

Little drone shot I took of the area.

Check out a quick little video I did on this campground - https://youtu.be/7BXLaxTGYbM We originally were scheduled to stay the night a couple hours south at the KOA in Fillmore Utah, but a wildfire that was encroaching into the area motivated us to drive further North. We were grateful that the KOA in Provo Utah had a nice pull through spot for us. This campground was nicely maintained and served it's purpose. We had full hook ups and a nice level site. We arrived after hours and one of the best things about KOA is the after hours checkin. Just grab your paperwork and roll into your spot. Pull in site allowed us to roll in, crash out, and easily get back on the road in the morning.

    That's your site!

KOA's are always a tight fit, but this place was so tight it was more of a parking lot than a campground. There was no room for a picnic table instead you had a half table, no fire ring, and the extended stay big rigs blocked the view! Expensive for what you got. $70 a night. The bathroom was bigger than my site. We stayed one night!!

Nearly took the neighbors awning out trying to pull-into this space

We've been traveling for 10 days now and spent most stay-overs at KOA's. Seems when booking for a single night, we generally get shoved into sub-standard spaces. This place has been the worse. Spaces are so crammed together that they can only supply half-width picnic tables, and you can't even put your awning out without hitting the adjacent trailer. Appears to be other RV lanes with wider spaces, a tree and full size table. Recommend looking at the space they plan to assign you before committing. Additionally, their pool is closed and drained dry. The pool is one of the reasons we stay at KOA's. Did they discount our stay - not !

Narrow site where we could only put out the short slides on the curb side.
    Julie W.

Plus: Easy to make our reservation over the phone and the young woman was very polite. Negatives: I told them we have a 40 ft motorhome with four slides. The site we were given is so narrow we could only put out our slides on one side. For $60 a night plus tax I would expect a much bigger and nicer site. The pool was open which and we thought would be nice after driving over 550 miles. After setting up we walked to the pool and found there wasn't a chair on the pool deck. When we asked in the office why they don't have chairs they replied "because of the COVID". So it's ok to use the pool but you can't set your towel on a chair and if you want to sit down you have to sit on 110 degree pavement! Using the covid to charge the same amount and provide less service to your customers is wrong. If you're thinking about stopping here... DON'T!

    How close our neighbors were.

I took my time doing the hike--listened to some music; noticed the different plants; took breaks; and then, took my headphones off to really soak in nature. It was so therapeutic. Once I reached the final point, I noticed it was quite packed when I went around fall season; and I'm not surprised. The weather was perfect to dip in the hot springs; and the colorful fall leaves made my experience extra vibrant. The water was clean; temperature of water varies depending on where you're sitting; and each area vary in size. As for someone who enjoys exploring and all the adventures, I decided to take my time to sit in each hot springs. Honestly, my favorite is the first one as the hiker approaches the start of hot springs. It's not big, but it's more secluded. It has a nice balance of shade and sunlight; little waterfalls; and some rocks to hop over and/or sit on. I felt as if it was part of my backyard, lol. I couldn't help but to take so much pictures. I'm definitely coming back again during the spring or summer to experience it differently.

We didn't want to pay for a hot spring since the other ones were busy and the "natural" element is no longer there. However, we weren't as prepared as we thought we were. We visited this hot spring in late December which meant a lot of the roads leading there were closed due to the snow. We walked about 1 mile before reaching the trailhead. Once you reach a sign that points straight and right, take the right to cross the small bridge towards the side of the mountain. Our saving grace was google maps but it wasn't fully accurate at times. Remember that once you cross that bridge, the river should stay on your right until you reach the springs. This trek was TOUGH and feels like 10 miles (when it's only about 5) because of the hills and thick snow/ice. We did not have spikes or sticks to help so we had to rely on each other and our surroundings. It took about 2.5 hours going since we didn't stop and were going fairly quickly and this is coming from someone who does not hike regularly. There was a portion of the hike that was a uphill climb using a rope which was probably the scariest part for me because it was icy and not stable (hence why spikes would help). Once you near the springs, the smell of sulfur becomes strong and the river begins changing color from clear to blue. There are 2 spots that is on google maps, the first one was very busy but it was not the main attraction. We kept walking and got to the actual fifth water hot springs which was still kind of busy but enjoyable. We got into both the hot springs and the cold springs and it was a very cool experience. The hike back was much faster since we knew where we were going but still hard. If you want to challenge yourself to a hike with a cool and relaxing reward of being in the hot springs, I would recommend this hike! I'm sure it's easier when it's not snowy/icy but being in naturally hot pools while your surroundings are covered in snow is beautiful and I would do this again. Tips: -We forgot towels which was a rookie mistake so make sure to take some! -Remember to take off any jewelry prior to going/getting in the hot springs because the sulfur will tarnish it. -Wear thick socks to avoid frozen toes. -The hike itself was beautiful so remember to look up and enjoy the scenery instead of always looking down at the trail. -Start EARLY because it will take at least half a day to complete

I did see a closed for the season sign blocking entrance into the parking lot areas, so you would have to park elsewhere and walk to this main area. If you're close enough to the river, the sound of the water drowns out the cars driving by on the road. I came to this park last week when I wanted to get away from the apartment for a while. I drove up the canyon for a few minutes and drove off the freeway to see that the parking lot for Bridal Veil Falls Park was packed, so I took a left and made my way over to Nunn's Park. I didn't wander over to the campground area, but the park is pretty nice. The trees are finally green and the sun was out, so I was able to kick back and enjoy how beautiful this place is during spring. Oh, but I must say, they have ants that I haven't seen since rural San Diego. Those nasty HUGE black ants...yikes. I've only seen those tiny house ants around here, so it was a bit of a shock. If you stray from the view of the water and just look at the bridge and the road above you, it's not all that pretty, but I guess that's the benefit of having two parks so close together. If you get tired of one, just walk across the street to the other one. Provo Canyon would have to be the most beautiful thing I've seen in Utah.

This is without a doubt the most trashed skatepark in Utah County, full of litter and loiterers…read more But it's also one of the best. Skaters will love the street course. Metal lipped ledges and platforms circumvent the bowls and banks area. Transition skaters will dig the 5'/8' kidney bowl. But it's not all good: The concrete's not the smoothest--in part because the amateur parks and rec clean-up decided to sandblast spraypaint off (this park is a big target for weak-sauce, art-free, wanna-be gangsta graffiti). The place is usually a mess (so bring a broom if you plan to skate the bowl). There's no gate to keep the local trash out after dark, so inevitably jr high kids will camp out in a bowl with their Doritos, Little Caesars, and generic 2l Mountain Dews. The final drawback is it's always crowded after 3pm, and typically dominated by bikes and scooters. The biker locals seem easy going. The scooter kids just get in the way. Then there's another crowd, a mixed bunch who don't skate, but bring bikes, yet just sit on the ledges and grass smoking cigs and drinking a mysterious liquid from imitation Sunny D bottles. They always have some girls who seem too young to smoke and a couple butt rockers who are creepy old. Still, come in the morning, or autumn lunch time afternoons. Avoid the crowd. Enjoy a beautiful shred in sight of some of Utah's most majestic mountains.
