This campground had a nice receptionist and front desk staff (that's why they get the two stars) otherwise, this is the smallest Site we have ever been jammed into. Many permanent residents with sketchy looking campers and stuff outside. If we didn't pay a large sum to be crammed into this crap-hole, we would leave. I am adjusting my review down to one star after I realized multiple spots of broken glass in the grass outside of our camper. I also noticed a spot of what looks like human feces next to the septic from the other side. Unfortunately, it looks like it made it into our grass patch. I will also report that there must be some sort of feedlot, or processing plant nearby, as she will wake up in the middle of the night to a stench that will make you close your windows. If you're looking for the cleanest, roomiest campground around, this may not be for you. But if you need a place to set up camp for a day or two as you're passing through the area, the Springville/Provo KOA will probably suffice. We rolled in Friday afternoon around 5:30. Check in was easy-the young lady at the front desk was friendly and pointed me in the right direction. Our site (410) was dirty when we pulled into it (a couple soda/drink bottles on the table, two dirty rags on the ground, an old doormat that was left behind and trash, including a razor, on the grass.) Not a great first impression. We noticed that the sites were fairly tight as well. We were able to put our slide out and awning out, but had there been people on either side of us, it would have been super close. There are bathrooms available-individual rooms with toilets and showers. But stay away from room #1-it is filthy and doesn't have a towel dispenser or hand dryer. So you're on your own for hand drying. All the rooms look to be pretty dated and could use a little updating. There are a lot of long term residents in the park, which can be hit or miss. In our experience, we actually made friends with a few of the residents and had no problem with anyone. People respected quiet hours and we didn't have any trouble with neighbors. The pool area looked nice, although we didn't swim. There is also a club house and a pavilion-also amenities that we didn't use, but appreciated were available. The trees are mature and there is some shade, although on a hot August day, the sun was beating down on us pretty good. Overall, this place has potential with just a little more attention to the cleanliness and upkeep. We will likely return to see our new friends who call this KOA their home. read more

We always love to stay at KOA's but this one was awful. The smell was terrible, no fittings/seal on the sewer connections. Both of our "neighbors" had clearly been there for a great deal of time. We just didn't feel safe there read more

The staff are pleasant. The play area is small. Nice gaming area room. The camping sites are are close together. The picnic table for the RV site is a one seat metal bench and table combo. The wifi is in and out. The shower and bath: there are 6 up at front facility and a combo of shower a toilet and a sink. These are unisex so there is a locked door but no I am not a fan. There is another comfort station I have not visited. There was water all on the floor as someone took a shower and got water on the bathroom floor. Dangerous walking. The toilet seat paper cover was empty. No paper towels, only an old wall dryer, so you walk out handling the handle after people you don't know if they wash their hands after using the restroom. We look for camping with full comfort stations so we can use the restrooms and showers. Our site is small but pleasant and backs up to a south fence. I am happy with it. read more

We were grateful that the KOA in Provo Utah had a nice pull through spot for us. This campground was nicely maintained and served it's purpose. We had full hook ups and a nice level site. We arrived after hours and one of the best things about KOA is the after hours checkin. Just grab your paperwork and roll into your spot. Pull in site allowed us to roll in, crash out, and easily get back on the road in the morning. read more

The park is nice and clean the Price is a little high. I did my laundry. About 1/3 of the machines were not working, but I managed to make it work. The entire reason for me to stop here was so I could work and I need the Wi-Fi so I can work. I would've stayed two or even three days but the Wi-Fi was so poor. It was unusable. read more

We...g'ma, g'pa & three young g'sons stayed in Cabin 909. We coulda used: 1. Linen for the sofa-bed (none found) 2. T.P. A 1/4 roll was the only one found in the restroom. 3. A few more towels. There was enough for two but my wife had mentioned the kids, so I would have thought there would be more. 4. My wife experienced bug bites (all within the first minutes of our arrival). 5. Bedroom windows could use some shades (railroad yard view; bright sunrise in the morning). To be fairer, we did arrive after hours, so perhaps some of the items listed could have been resolved. And I will also mention, we have stayed here in our r.v., and it's been adequate. read more

We stayed here for 1 night going and coming back, so 2 nights total. We absolutely LOVED it and plan to stay a few nights again next Summer to take advantage of some attractions in the area. The common areas were very well maintained and had many things to keep our kids entertained. They also have a very large kitchen area that was very convenient to use during those hot days for cooking and eating. The pool was nice...small, but nice. The entire campground is flat, so easy to get around and for kids to ride their bikes and scooters without issue. The sites are a little cramped which is why I gave 4 stars vs 5. Again however, we do plan to stay again and would recommend. read more

KOA's are always a tight fit, but this place was so tight it was more of a parking lot than a campground. There was no room for a picnic table instead you had a half table, no fire ring, and the extended stay big rigs blocked the view! Expensive for what you got. $70 a night. We've been traveling for 10 days now and spent most stay-overs at KOA's. Seems when booking for a single night, we generally get shoved into sub-standard spaces. This place has been the worse. Spaces are so crammed together that they can only supply half-width picnic tables, and you can't even put your awning out without hitting the adjacent trailer. Appears to be other RV lanes with wider spaces, a tree and full size table. Recommend looking at the space they plan to assign you before committing. Additionally, their pool is closed and drained dry. The pool is one of the reasons we stay at KOA's. Did they discount our stay - not ! read more

Where to begin. We've been on the road for 45+days all our Park stays have been KOA. This location was a horrible disappointment!! The sites are far too crowded. There wasn't any table at the site. The site length end to end went right up to the drive lane. People parked their cars in a way that made it precarious to drive down the lanes and sometimes impossible to pull your RV into your assigned site. We had to ask someone to move and saw a few other people do the same! The water lines were leaking and there were puddles everywhere. We have a dog and the Kamp K-9 was shoved in a neglected back corner. No grass. The gate frequently came open. There was no lighting to guide you at night. I would rather boondock on a highway than ever stay here again. Can't give less than 1 star read more

For starters, we have a 42' fifth wheel. We BOOKED for a fhu site and gave our size. The sites here are crazy close together and not easy to swing into. We got the camper into our spot, but there was no room for the truck. Not a problem, except they did not have any available overflow parking for trucks. They had several car/minivan spots, but none for trucks available. There were many people parked sideways in front or behind their campers, but the rules state not to park on the grass, so I refused to do so. We interacted with 4 separate transient people in the campground who were not in campers or tents. One couple was literally camped out on the office yard with their pitbull & when we complained about it, the clerk shrugged it off. They were there from our check-in until late at night. Very disappointed, felt unsafe and unappreciated as a client. Thankfully this was only an overnight stop and we will certainly mark this off our list of places to stay. Do not recommend. read more

Your location We stayed at this KOA for 8 months and during that stay my Great Dane was attacked by dogs that were off leash 4 times. All of these attacks were reported to onsight management and we were told guests are briefed that pets must be on a leash at all times. When infact this statement is untrue. I personally asked numerous guests and they all stated they were never told anything about the pet rules. Management was always sending messages about speeding and guests would be fined however the employees speed around the park in the golf cart continuous. The hypocrisy that we experienced during our stay was endless from the speeding to clean up your site. The assistant managers site always has trash and debris all over the site. I have never been late on my payments and always kept our site spotless. I was dumbfounded when I had an eviction notice on my door with 2 weeks to find a new place to live. I was shocked since not less than a week prior I was offered a park maintenance job. From what I gathered after talking to a few employees and they sending me to City Hall the Springville Mayor and the owner of the KOA are having a disagreement and we as the guests are in the middle of it. With all the above stated. This was our second time to stay here and I will NEVER stay there again. read more

The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great site with good shade. Our only real complaint as we knew we would be leaving quite early the next morning, we choose to use the KOA shower facilities so we wouldn't need to hook up and break down our septic connections. There were no floor mats for the slick tile floors, cool barely warm water for a shower, and only one hook in the shower stall to hang anything on. It might have been a whole lot more satisfying to just connect our sewer line! read more

Plus: Easy to make our reservation over the phone and the young woman was very polite. Negatives: I told them we have a 40 ft motorhome with four slides. The site we were given is so narrow we could only put out our slides on one side. For $60 a night plus tax I would expect a much bigger and nicer site. The pool was open which and we thought would be nice after driving over 550 miles. After setting up we walked to the pool and found there wasn't a chair on the pool deck. When we asked in the office why they don't have chairs they replied "because of the COVID". So it's ok to use the pool but you can't set your towel on a chair and if you want to sit down you have to sit on 110 degree pavement! Using the covid to charge the same amount and provide less service to your customers is wrong. If you're thinking about stopping here... DON'T! read more

I have stayed at KOAs for decades. This is by far the most gross. The bathrooms were horrible. They must clean them once per day at most. If you are in a self-contained RV and you don't need anything to be clean, it may be ok. The cabins were horrible also... so run down and dirty. I am usually super forgiving with these campgrounds but this even shocked me. Still looking for a good stop in the SLC area. Seems impossible to find. read more

1. Pool is not as advertised: has been closed down for resurfacing for a long time despite being listed as an available amenity. We didn't find out until after booking that this was the case. 2. Picnic tables are missing from half the campsites. 3. Playground is nearly all metal, rendering it useless for most of the day. It is inaccessible for smaller children and barely held together, propped up with cinder blocks in some spots. Very unsafe. 4. I definitely would not recommend this place. They were fairly expensive...why I can't figure out. When I couldn't connect to wi-fi they just said that a lot of areas in the park couldn't. No apologies...no discount...no forewarning. There was no picnic table at the site. The spaces were so close together that there were just inches between us and the neighbors' awning. There was no hot water in the showers and most of the toilet areas did not have toilet paper. There also was no cable. NO I would definitely not stay here again. read more

Messy sites all over the place, fences left up with no pets in them, unaccompanied kids zipping all over on bikes, LOUD MUSIC AT 11pm and zero enforcement of the posted 10pm to 8am quiet time. Office hours are closed between 6pm and 10am, so if you need anything during these hours, you are out of luck. During our stay, they shut off the water intermittently, with no warning. They said they sent out texts regarding the water shut off, but we did not receive one. So we had no ability to shower or do laundry in the morning. Also, the game room required tokens that you could only get in the office, which was closed after we arrived at 7pm. And, the laundry required quarters which you could only get in, you guessed it, the office which was closed. Not convenient at all for weary travelers that needed to do laundry and have some relaxation time after their limited office hours. Will not stay here again. The grounds are nice enough. read more

ThisKOA is in really nice shape. They have a friendly staff that greets you when you come in and a hard-working staff that keeps the park in good condition. This place comes equipped with a pool, game room and a comfort room which has bathrooms and washers and dryers to do laundry. I will definitely go back in the future to stay there. Been here a couple hours and am super impressed! The sites may be on the smaller side, but everything else makes up for it! The check in was super easy and everyone is so so nice and helpful!! John took care of us and I couldn't ask for a better experience! We took a walk around and the bathroom blew my mind. No way can something that nice be in a campground! Bank ruled in my favor against the very dishonest owner/manager of this KOA. They will charge your credit card for extra things before you even get there and they tried to say that a 3 day notice was required if you cancel your reservation, but their site said 24 hours. If you stay here, keep an eye on your credit card!!! read more

A friendly voice on the phone took our same day reservation and renewed our membership in KOA. The park is nothing special to look at but the restrooms are clean and spacious, the game room offers fun entertainment for kids and the the park is quiet and clean. I recommend it as a stop between Salt Lake and Zion. read more

Absolutely AMAZING customer service!! Long story short, we were unexpectedly stranded in Utah without a vehicle to tow our trailer or get our family back to North Washington state. This KOA has been willing to work with our situation and do everything in their power to help make it easier for us to stay and get us back on the road to home. They've accommodated us so much as to allow us a late check out as we search for a new vehicle to get us home. I would recommend this place to anyone! Very disappointing stay. Passed through for a night. There were left over dog droppings all over the grass directly out in front of where our camp trailer was parked. We immediately asked it to be cleaned up when we arrived that afternoon. They said they would take care of it. Nobody ever came. I had to notify them again the next morning. They finally came after raising a big deal about it, right as we were packed up to leave. My water pressure in the trailer went bad after working well elsewhere all week before and since. Water was spraying out of the outside connection (not our hose). They said that was normal. I've never seen that before if it is so normal. I have pictures of it spraying out of the spicket. This experience forced me to go to the community shower (which I already did not want to do out of inconvenience but also due to COVID-19 concerns). The shower rooms did not appear well cleaned and sanitized given the current pandemic conditions. Ok fine, but worst of all, there was one hook available to hang a careful balance of all of my clothing (let alone a toiletry bag) and nothing else. I literally had no other choice but to throw my discarded clothing on the dirty tile public floor. Very disgusting, and a lack of some simple degree of comfort. My overall impression is that they are happy to collect a fee for your stay, but they have no regard for or impression of service or a comfortable stay. My recommendation is to have some more pride in the presentation of your product you're supposed to be selling. It wouldn't have taken much to please me as I don't try to be difficult, but I think awareness is key to make a guest at least satisfied with the stay. Nasty. Yes I know its a Journey park but... yuck. Showers were nasty with one shower curtain with mildew and a bandage stuck to it. Picnic tables were broken down. Electric connections are damaged in multiple spaces. Staff was helpful in repairing ours. WiFi non existent. Cable hookup but no cable. Did I mention the high power lines that sound scary. Dog park small and full of poop and cigarette butts. They need to learn from Amarillo and Laramie KOA Journey Parks! This was our worst stay at all KOA's this summer. read more

My family, friends, and I stayed at this facility twice... only due to convenience after first stay. Otherwise we would have found an alternative. The place is so cramped and mismanaged. My dad did about 5k worth of damage to roof of 5th wheel from tree branch that had obviously been hit multiple times. Not only were there so many cars parked in the way, but facility equipment making it very hard to navigate around the park. In addition, my dad paid for 2 extra adults at his site, then we still had to pay for a 3rd site to park our truck hauling our UTV without offering any sort of discount because they wouldnt allow us to park in overflow. Poor customer service, especially to a member of KOA. read more

Go to the box and there is no envelope for us and all the sites are full so we're scrambling to find a place to stay. Making me never want to use koas again. Well this KOA is convenient to I-15 and looks well maintained, however not a place for more than a one night stop. The sites are separated by a 7-8 foot strip of grass, needless to say you'll be way to close to your neighbor. read more

The spots in this park are so narrow that you can't put out you awning without hitting your neighbor. If you have 2 RVs side by side and they both have slide outs you don't have more than about 4 feet between RVs. The park is right by the highway so you hear the road noise all the time. There is no cable. The positive is there is grass to walk dogs which I appreciate. The bathrooms are very clean. This is a parking lot for travelers and not a place to stay for any length of time. read more

We are frequent KOA stayers and this one wasn't bad but wasn't the best. My biggest concern is the lack of respect people have for the speed limit. 10mph posted EVERYWHERE yet people were flying through there. They have signs saying only you can prevent speed bumps yet many people seemed to ignore. It's great for kids. Kids on their bikes playing with friends and family. My main concern was one of them was going to get hit by speeders. Nice new clubhouse decent size spots.. read more

. They charge $385 a week which is insane and no they don't do discount for triple A. We stayed here for two weeks because we didn't have any other choice. We travel for my husbands work and everywhere else was full. They have no pool and no clubhouse. Every time I would do laundry the lady was in their cleaning and was mad when I would come in. They do keep this place very clean which is great though. But People drive way to fast threw the campground and no one is their to tell them to slow down. They use to charge $550 a month and increased the rate recently I mean that's a huge increase for little to no amenities! And They do have a small dog park which is nice. They cram RVs in even when they have plenty of room they would put an rv right next to us making it impossible to even open up the other persons slides. read more

The grounds are well kept and the facility is clean. However, the sites are so close together it's like you are camping with the people next to you IN THEIR RV. The streets are very narrow and the sites are SHORT. We did not have room to park in front of RV on the pad. They did put gravel in the front of the sites so you could park sideways in front. But our 40ft rig filled up the pad. We where far enough away from the highway for it to be quiet. There are MAJOR power lines on the side of the park that you can hear humming (side by front office) so that was concerning. I would stay here again overnight no issues. However I would not want to stay for a long haul unless I was on an end cap or found a more spacious site. WiFi was slow so if coming for WiFi it's gonna be hit or miss based on bandwidth read more
