I work remote IT security and own a motorhome, and volunteered to bring her down while I worked. Thankfully I can work from anywhere. T-mobile signal is great from this location (I have T-mobile internet in my motorhome, Starlink when I need to break it out, but I didn't have to in this case). The stay was $40 a night. Met the owner, he was nice, the process was simple, the location was beautiful, had all the electrical, water, sewage, everything was great. It was the closest location to the convention center we found. We were initially going to stay at the state park, which is apparently only $25 a night, but frankly it was 13 miles away and the check in process is confusing on the state park site, so we just stayed at Over The Hill. This was a cute little 2 bedroom cabin (mobile home) with a queen size bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other and a futon in the living room. The cabin was clean with plenty of room for us to relax. (We were so exhausted from a horrible stay at another cabin that we slept most of the time we were here). It had a big tub for soaking and plush bath towels. The owners were very friendly, so was their cute dog. The grounds were nice and kept up and there were picnic tables in between the cabins. I wish they would have had a recliner in the living room and something softer than the futon to sit on. There were four adults so it wasn't very comfortable. There were only a few channels that came in on the tv, but we didn't watch much anyway. If we are ever that way again, we will probably stay there.

The owner, who is very nice, also owns the BBQ place that is adjacent to the park. The BBQ is DELICIOUS by the way!!! No issues with power, water or sewer - everything worked well. We were able to get the concrete site which was pretty level. Wasn't expecting much in the way of internet access, but we were pleasantly surprised - really good internet!! There is a small building with a FREE washer and dryer in one room and a rest room/shower in the other. There is a road nearby but the noise wasn't bad at all. A couple trains per day go through town, but again, not bad. I wish there was a place like this in every town we stay in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!

It is a short driving distance to three very good wineries and the beautiful St. Mary's Church overlooking Altus. It is secluded away from highway nose, yet close enough to gas and dining options. They called us while we were in our way to check on us and let us know what to expect when we arrived. We arrived late and realized our campsite was on the other end of the resort far from the restrooms. Since we are traveling with an our grandpa who is mobility impaired who can't walk the distance, we called and they accommodated us and put us right in front of the restrooms. They live up to the name Riverfront, because we were able to walk to the river. Also there was a playground for the kiddos to play in, a very nice pool, and showers/restrooms were spacious and clean! Definitely worth the visit and we will be back to stay again

They do have pretty clean restrooms which is definitely worth 5 stars alone but the lady who owns the park offered me an ice cold cola when we checked in which made my day. The only downside was that it was a little hard to find because there are no signs outside but just look for the big yellow mailbox on the front yard, and a house with the red roof, pull into the long gravel path and check in at the back of the home on the property. There's a special door in the back with a red porch where we checked in and paid. Overall a wonderful and peaceful stay!

Shady people walking up and down the road the campground is off of. We had tools stolen out of the back of our truck and others told us about what has been stolen as well. Cameras are mounted but they don't work per the owner.
