I will always trust him with my life, always. One of my main requirements for any medical professional in my life, human or animal, is that they be able and willing to listen. They don't have to agree but they do have to listen. Dr. Dixon is the very best human doctor I've met at listening to me. He actively listens and responds clearly and kindly. Your ER staff was very dismissive of my claim. They did an ultrasound, looking for blood clots, then sent me home because there were none. They did not even consider any other possibilities. The PAIN was excruciating and the diagnosis of cellulitis was very real. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED!! From now on, I will be going to UAMS so I can be taken seriously.

Was told they would send a note back to nurse. After an hour (it was now 4:30) I called and asked if I needed to go somewhere else since they stop testing at 4. Her reply - well you didn't say you were sitting here. What?!! I said you told me to be here by 4 and maybe you should ask when someone calls and says that! Note on door says to call and not come in if you have symptoms. If you call don't forget to say "I'm sitting in my car" because they will let you sit there for hours if you don't. Or maybe next time I'll just walk right in! Except there will not be a next time. Never.

I traveled from outside of Little Rock all the way to Hot Springs to see Dr. Hollenbach. My lithotripsy did not work, I had a stone blocking one ureter, had to go back to the ER in Little Rock, they got in touch with Dr Hollenbach. I got scheduled for a laser surgery with stent placement in Hot Springs in just a few days and got immediate relief after that. I agree with others that the office/phone/staff communication could be better, but you have to be your own advocate and be persistent.

We secured the appt 5 days prior, on the day and time of my wife's appt she refused to see her , the doctor was in the office , she was seeing patients . But opted to not honor her obligation or exercise her oath that day. It is my firm belief that too many other motivations come before patient care with this person. Worse still she didn't even come to see us to personally give us her reason for not fulfilling the appt. Rather she hid behind her office staff and made those poor women take the blame.
